Runaway Bride

In the depths of darkness

is where she calls my name

I beckon to her call

despite her ill fame

she guides me through the shadows

her dark cloak flowing behind

she parts through the gloom

in this realm of the Divine

with whispers all around us

she walks me towards the gates

passing through the iron

to where he faithful dog awaits

she’s gentle with her words

as she addresses the departed souls

next to the River Styx

in the kingdom she controls

“Come and welcome your new Queen

she is Goddess of the Spring

you may call her Persephone

And she is to wear my wedding ring”

she grasps me by my arms

and looks me in the eyes

“I can keep you safe and well here

I will not let Him cause your demise”

for the God Zeus is after me

and there is only one place to hide

in the darkened bowels of the Underworld

where I am to become Hades bride.

Tamagotchi were banned at my school, so my mum would run around and imbetween serving customers would feed 3 tamagotchis for her kids. that’s love

reason #628293 i love my mom:

when we were wee little elementary school kids my sisters and i loved the tamagotchi games. but the tamagotchi required constant attention right? and we couldn’t play them during school so my mom would bring it to work with her and she’d do all of her accounting/banking shit while also feeding 2 tamagatchi pets. this small serious asian lady playing tamagotchi for her daughters. i love her so much
