:D recently I made my own lil sun wukong (lmk) figurine!

Hence I am still working on my new artwork I thought I could share my new lil friend here.

Hiii there :D thanks for checking out my post.

You see I had a lil problem a few weeks ago. I happened to get the same one piece figure twice. Which was a shame truly (because I was hoping to get brook but anyway-)

Figuring I would never be able to buy any lmk merch (except for the Lego sets) I thought:

"hey, why not make my own version of the glorious monkey king?"

And so I started to cut Ruffy's hair off

I am truly sorry Ruffy-

I also had to cut off some of his clothes as well. Once done with that I started to paint the whole thing in white before getting my airdrying clay.

I used wire to make Wukong's head piece and put clay above it. After that I started to paint.

Also adding some gold because it fits him so swell!

I am so happs with the result of this :³ lil wukong chilled beside the pagoda on my bed table ever since.

Still waiting for the macaque figure I am planning to make hhhh

This is the second figurine I made in this kind of way. I started this because I have a few ocs which will obviously never have merch on their own so I just made it myself :D here's said figurine

Sometimes I think

I need to talk about how mature wukong is like yeah he can be silly and act childish but he is more mature then people give him credit for

like yeah he was really closed off in the first seasons but he did tell mk about his stage fright (witch flow over mk's head 😭) he didn't feel embarrassed to admit that something made him uncomfortable

Also he forgive easily when someone apologise like in s1 he forgive mk as soon as he apologise because mk didn't really mean any harm he allow mk to make mistakes and learn from them rather than stay upset about it

also he apologised to mk and didn't brush off what he did wrong even though mk didn't mention it he did on his own he's mature enough to admit his mistakes and apologise for them

Also despite what macaque think wukong not pushing mk about him being a stone monkey and what's going on in the celestial realm and the underworld was the right thing to do I mean yeah wukong can be a bit overprotective but you can't force someone to except or talk about something and he didn't want to stress mk out even more
