UGH the parallel between these scenes- Kongo refusing the drink while Phos agressively takes it. Maybe the drink/icecream(?) Is meant to symbolize looking for a way for other's happiness or something, still tho i think this is a very interesting parallel lol.

Btw I just need to rant about this. The gems dont have races, the so called "race" you can even call one is the gem families. So, when you put a character that's not from houseki in houseki that isnt white, but you or someone still gives them white powder, that isn't being racist by whitewashing, since race doesn't exist in their species besides the type of gem they are. The powder is just a cosmetic and also protects them from erosion.
