Also in my mind Ballister (and Ambrosius <3) is Nimona's father, but Nimona is already confirmed to be 15. A little age gap is ok.

Also this movie is the only kids movie to feature a protagonist who looks as old as Ballister (which is much older than 22) and he's a hot Dilf, not whatever people are in their 20s.

Lastly, Comic Ballister and Ambrosius are definitely more than 30 (I think, I can't cite my source).

This is Nimona and her supervillain friend (He doesn’t have a name yet, I’m working on that). Nimona is his sidekick/squire, they’re like the Batman and Robin of slightly Medieval villains, but she’s actually way more evil than him. He does what he does to make a point, and he doesn’t really want anyone get hurt - Nimona just gets a kick out of destroying stuff.

I’m going to attempt to make a two page comic with them? We’ll see how this goes.

Headcanon: Ambrosius hates his job. He was in it for the family business, now he's in it for our pookie Ballister.

They're like teenagers, Ballister being the shy goody goody teacher, Ambrosius being the rebellious bad boy nepo baby.

In the end:

Nimona goes off to college under a sports thing

Ballister gets a better job

Ambrosius helps Ballister in any way and becomes a glorified house husband
