Hello tumblr peoples!

First of all, I'm still alive. Second of all, I'm so sorry for sort of taking an unannouced and unexpected hiatus from sims. I haven't played in months and have been busy doing other things in quarantine like being obsessed with animal crossing new horizons or other games. I didn't exactly mean to take such a long break from sims, it just sort of happened! But, I'm planning on cleaning house a bit before getting back to simming, I have wayyy too much custom contents in my game and things that I literally never use. I think it's time to go somewhat back to basics and only keep things I can't live without in my game. It may be a little while longer until I get back to playing but as always, thank you for being patient. I'm still here, I promise! I hope everyone is doing well and keep on simming <3

Hello tumblr! I know it’s been a while, but to be honest I haven’t played sims in months, since before the knitting pack came out. I’m not sure if I will return to it, probably at some point eventually (I always end up going back to it after a break). But, I have been playing this awesome game called Planet Zoo, and I was thinking of posting some photos from it on here. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in seeing that (I know this is supposed to be a sims blog). To make things easier I could just make a separate Planet Zoo blog. So you guys let me know if seeing photos from this other game would be annoying. Thoughts?

Hello! I love your hairlines so much they are so beautiful and maxis-matchy! The only problem is that they are in the same skin detail category (lip mole right) as Pyxis' nose masks, which I use on almost every sim. I'm not sure if you do requests, but I was wondering if you'd be able to make a version of your hairlines that are under a different category in skin detail? I know a lot of other players use Pyxis' nose masks, so I'm sure someone else will get use out of this too!

I’m a little hesitant to do different skin detail categories, simply because I feel like I’d have to do versions for *all* of them to make them maximally compatible with everyone’s different CC, but I honestly don’t relish the idea of having so many packages I’d need to manage and update if I ever need to make changes.

Thankfully, changing the skin detail category is super easy to do yourself! Here’s a quick how-to:

All you’ll need is @sims4studioofficial (You can download it here).

Once you’ve installed it, open the program and open the package file you want to edit (in this case it’ll be my hairlines, but you can do this for any other skin detail package as well).

Once you’ve opened it, you’ll want to open the “Categories” tab under the list of swatches. This is the window you should see:

See where it says “Outfit type” at the top? Simply choose the Skin Detail slot you want it to show up in from the pull-down menu, and then click “Apply to All Swatches” right next to it.

Once you’ve done that, you just hit “Save” at the bottom of the window and you’re done!

I’ve done this for a bunch of skin details I’ve downloaded. I have all of my hairlines in Right Lip mole, all of my facemasks/skinblends on Forehead, all of my Freckles put on Freckles, etc. to make it easier for things to work together.

The Men Of Letters, Supernatural Bunker

It’s finally here! You have no idea how exited I am for this to be out! In honour of the best show ever, aka Supernatural, I give you The Men Of Letters Bunker in The Sims 4. I’ve worked probably 36 hours on it or more I have no idea, with research and all of it. This build made me pull my hair out a few times, not gonna lie. With my undying love for Supernatural it was obvious that I had to create The Bunker. It’s ICONIC. I loved recreating those rooms, trying to figure out a layout of things, it was absolutely amazing and I had so much fun. Hope all of you will enjoy it as much as I do. Please send me screenshots with your gameplay or tag me, I’d love to see your take on it! I might cry rn bc I love this build so much lol don’t judge me.
