megaman zero. the roundness and big colour blocked eyes never went away even many years later more recently demon slayer is a huge influence to my current style throw in a bunch of 90s animes because that's what i grew up with (with some 00s ones) genshin impact helped me big time with figuring out my colours. also had similar proportions for some characters chobits probably. it had a chokehold on how i drew eyes for a long time zelda manga probably still has some influence. especially the minish cap one lol now that my art is unapologetically cutesy shounen.. thing sonic also had a huge influence in my early art.. that's why hands always felt so stiff for me lol and proportions were kinda difficult i loved its stylization though. may have to draw sonic again tag commentary ♡ reblog ♡ honourary mention is i always keep candies in mind when colouring. i love fox's candies.
