w max in a toxic situationship where u thought he was gonna marry u but he just thought u were a fling and almost pretended u don't exist but eventually u grow ur own backbone ur like nuh uh maxie pad so u leave him then he regrets it esp when he sees how bad he's acc hurt and affected u so GROVELLSSSS

u go back but he can still always see how he's changed and damaged u and he kinda just has to live w his regret and try to be better w u except the damage is done
