You're the only person I know that I can squee to about Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell. Not even my English teacher friends are watching. What is WRONG with the world?! And ugh, Strange, what an adorable bastard. His freaking gorgeous hair.

And as to Jonathan… welll…. in the book, I loved him as a character, but he was never anyone I found especially attractive. TV!Jonathan on the other hand….

He’ll be the death of me.

The Education of a Magician (aka the episode where Jonathan got really hot)

I am utterly shocked and saddened by the news of Christopher Lee’s death. May he rest in peace and travel back into the west. For all my life, he has been such a beautiful presence, not only being such a fantastic portrayer of Saruman but that of the countless roles he played.I remember growing up to LOTR and Star Wars, and my dad telling me about growing up to Dracula. His bravery, courage and resilience in life is a quality that he held highly. The very fact that he chose to act in The Hobbit at 92 is credit to the love of life he held. I really do not know what to say, this is heartbreaking. Utterly heartbreaking.
