You Both Known Each Other For Centuries, Long Before Your Rises And His Fall. However You Both Kept Secrets
You both known each other for centuries, long before your rises and his fall. However you both kept secrets back then.
For him, it was his growing desperation at each soul lost in a gamble.
For her, it was her life before this. Before Hell.
Husk thought it had something to do with her household or something akin to that sentiment. That'd explain her silence and withdrawing behavior when inquired on it.
That was the farthest from the truth:
You came from our world. Where he was nothing but fiction, a creation of an artist. You know his future, and yet, even as you try to stir him from it, you watch as he waltz into Alastor's hand. You tried to help. He swiped your hand, sharp nails slicing through your flesh.
"Leave," he grunted. His back turned to you. Tears stung yours as you obey his request. You'll bother him no longer.

Part of the Dime Breaker series
Some demons choose to keep their old names. Others pick a new one. For one reason or another.
You left yours behind for one simple fact: No one will know who you are. If you became prevalent in the future, questions will be made about your history. Where did you come from? Who were you before you died? What sent you down here?
If it became known you never existed in their human world to begin with... You didn't want to think about all the killer intent point at you like darts. All it takes is one perfectly or lucky aimed shot.
Just.
One.
You sip your tea. Rosie certainly is as delightful as you expect. Patiently waiting for you to pick a new name while talking about other subjects. Your abilities, your memories, etc.
You toy with a coin, the only thing to come with you into this world. It's face unique from their time. "Dime," you test.
"What's that, darling?"
"My name." You look up and shrug sheepishly. "I like how Dime sounds."
Rosie smiles brightly and bows slightly in greeting. "It's a delight to properly make your acquaintance, dear Dime."
Alternative Question to this Poll:
I've seen so many fics of Laios with a beastman, but I thought I could go with a little spin on it. Let's also tag on a bit of Isekai into the mix.
Laios x Caladrius Reader (Part 1)
One moment you were tucked away in your apartment, doodling away in your notebook; the next, you are a young beastman(?) wandering the world of Dungeon Meshi.
Despite how people treat you, you absolutely adore being a beastman. Because of your unique beast part, that being a magical creature with magical abilities such as healing and whatnot, you happily play around with your phasing in and out of beastform. You soar in the air and that's how you eventually meet Laios.
You meet him and his sister as children. Being a child in a sense yourself, having arrived in this world relatively young, you eagerly reveal yourself to them. You knew you could trust them unlike others. Laios, because of his feelings towards creatures, and Falin, because of how nice she is in general.
They take you in and help you get into magic school with Falin. You meet Marcille, and you spoil her with your love and cuddles. Often engulfing her in your very cozy wings.
Of course, eventually, Laios comes knocking on Falin's window.
QUESTION: HOW MANY PEOPLE WANT MORE TWISTED SELF-INSERT/MODERN CHARACTER INSERT FICS SET WITHIN WESTEROS?
I've tried to find them on fanfiction sites, and it's hard to find good ones. Especially with female lead's who take advantage of their modern knowledge and stuff.
