Ok so after many rewatchings of the new Owl House episode, I noticed something really subtle and cute that adds even more to an already amazing scene and overall episode.

I've seen everyone talking about how Amity plays with the hem of her dress when she's nervous, but what about THIS

She rubs her thumb against her hand while she and Luz talk. This is probably a stim of some sort to keep calm/distract her hands (I do this too when I'm nervous or don't know what to do with my hands; I'd think asking someone out would cause enough anxiety to want to self-soothe, right?)

And what does Luz do next? After they start holding hands?

(can't find a gif of it but) Luz rubs Amity's hand with her thumb!

I just love this little detail and it shows how much Luz pays attention and knows what will help alleviate Amity's anxiety during the situation 💜

(has anyone done this? Idk but here's my take:)

Okay, so I was listening to 'Video Girl' by the Jonas Brothers and suddenly thought the girl was kinda like Lila

And then that morphed into WHAT IF THE WAYNE BOYS WERE IN A BOY BAND (name currently unknown, maybe The Robins or something like that?)

(No powers au, no league of assassins, the batboys are all closer in age than canon-- Dick is the oldest at 23, Jason is 21, Tim is 20, Damian is 18-- Marinette and the class are 17/18 respectively)

So obviously, Lila is lying about being Damian's girlfriend, but Marinette knows better

She tells Damian what's up, he tells the boys, they write 'Video Girl'

They get Marinette to get a recording of Lila saying she's dating A Robin to use for the first part of the song (they figure out a way to use it that isn't illegal of course, they're getting revenge but they're gonna do it right)

When the song comes out, it goes viral, and everyone wants to know who the song is about/whose voice is being used

Lila tries to spin it when it's revealed that her voice was used, but just a few hours later Damian and Marinette go on their first public date and tell everyone Everything

They're all over magazine covers that week telling their story

Lila is destroyed, the class is on thin ice

Mari and Damian are finally free from Lila and live happily, making music and staying away from all the drama

BONUS: Marinette also follows her boyfriend and friends Jagged Stone and Clara Nightingale and starts a musical career and does a collab album with the boys, it's a big hit

Expectation: Eda making a deal with the Owl Beast that she doesn't want to talk about bc it's bad and is gonna cause a plot problem later

Reality: Eda's gotta eat some voles
