I'm definitely not constantly thinking about how Disco Elysium portrays cops. How the only two cases you work are to stop a murderer and to deliver a death notification to a grieving widow. How Kim will flat out tell you that he thinks the police deserve what they get in Martinaise because they have failed it. How Titus will not respect you as a cop, but will respect you as a person if you put yourself in harm's way to save his men. How Kim compliments you for having only killed three people in the line of duty. Most of all I'm certainly not obsessed with the fact that (outside of the armed showdown between psychopathic contract killers and ordinary dockworkers) you can save exactly *two* lives, and in each of those cases, you can only do it by choosing to *not* be a cop at the crucial moment.
