SPOT THE DIFFERENCE: BUCKY BARNES vs GRUMPY CAT | **Spoiler Alert: You Can’t
+ BONUS

I'm just… that's not a cat. My cats meow piteously in the car, they're not going to curl on my shoulder and watch the road.
No, that's an animagus! But oh, screw Rowling, he's a shapeshifter. An alien shapeshifter, and he crashed, and is badly hurt. He shifts into the first thing he sees, which is an abandoned kitty. He gets rescued by Steve and Sam, who are Captain America and the Falcon in a world where all the Avengers live and are happy and good friends. (That is the real world, right?)
Steve and Sam take the two 'cats' to a vet, where the shapeshifter appears to have a heart murmur, because he's still injured and is slowly healing himself. So Steve and Sam adopt him, thinking he's a pawspice. They name him Bucky after Steve's old friend.
Bucky recovers and is surprisingly active and friendly. He likes to sit on Steve's shoulder as he practices with the shield. Sam takes a picture and posts to social media, as the Avengers are trying to provide happy distractions for a world that is still recovering from alien attacks, etc. Of course the public loves it, so they slowly start taking other pictures, and seeing what the cat will do, and he absolutely loves going on their adventures, it's helping him to adopt to his new world.
What happens when Bucky decides he's strong enough to shapeshift again and shifts into the picture that Steve has shown him? cackles
You cannot tell me anything else about that cat, no cat willingly swims. Alien shapeshifter!!!
