I'm pretty sure I would have the same reaction had I watched the movie first...

Since I read the series and then watched the movie, I was gifted with Miyazaki-San's stunning, sweetheart Howl and Hisaishi-san's wonderful ethereal music.

Howl no Ugoku Shiro was definitely worth both reading the books and watching.(Though Diana's Howl is a major jerk and douche)

Diana wynne's Writing is absolutely fantastic to read!

I would recommend reading both castle in the air and house of many ways after the first book.

But like all amazing stories yours must also end. Though I can hardly call this an end, For this end is truly the beginning of your boundless journey.

Sadly, I will no longer have the privilege to witness the life instances of my dear little princess but you my darling sunshine have matured through all the trials you had to face.

I just wish that in the days to come you will be blessed with so much happiness that your future will be blindingly bright just like your kind nature and adorable character.
