If any of their albums are “western” it would be Dark&Wild... the whole album was basically hip hip and r&b which originated in the (Black) west lol

How do you feel about bts changing their genre of music ever since the first bbmas? It feels like they have gotten more western and personally i want them to go back to dark&wild era haha, but I'd like to know your thoughts..

I don’t know what “western” music is because I don’t consider that to be a genre. When someone is becoming more western, in my head that means their advertising techniques have changed. Overall, I tend to approach music as “I like this or I don’t” to keep it simple because I’m not a musician; I’m not going to be elitist about superior arrangement or anything like that. I just like what I like.

That being said, I prefer the older, pre-LY songs more, but I still support them because every once in a while I’ll get a gem like Dionysus. I don’t think BTS will ever *not* go back to those old sounds, though. Namjoon’s Persona suggests they still have an interest. We’ll just have to see what they put out in the future. 

On a related note, I would give anything to hear Let Me Know again. They did that more recent stage of Tomorrow in the last year or so and ever since then I’ve been foaming at the mouth for a new Let Me Know stage.
