Seriously, though, the fic is wonderful and masterfully written, such a creative premise and beautifully detailed levels of world building! And along with that, the tension and conflict and feelings are all conveyed so beautifully, and the buildup of the story feels natural, and agh it’s so good, at this point it’s just a mental reminder that I should reread this again!

This video fits it so well, it totally captures its feeling and vibe, and all of the many many feelings! They are both so well done, and props to you, Jess, this is a fantastic video on your first try!

I’m debating between two openings, so you can have both, I suppose!

The first one is kind of a flashback? I’m still debating over it:

“Can I tell you a secret?”

“Of course.”

“I’ve never had a best friend.”

And the second one is first day of school!

“Wanna visit Hot Pie with me?” Gendry asks as she hops into his car.

“Can’t, gotta do some volunteer work at the soup kitchen today,” she says nonchalantly, throwing her backpack in the backseat.
