there should be a phrase for when like, someone you love dearly has a trait or habit that genuinely annoys you, but not nearly enough to comment about it or diminish your feelings or anything.

like example, if your dear dear wife always takes five million years to leave the store because she wants to look at EVERYTHING. like it is objectively annoying, but not worth fussing about. or maybe you complain a little but it will never change and you don't mind that it won't.

or even! like if you have an imperfect/"ugly" picture of someone you love and it doesn't matter because it's them.

what's a good phrase for that?

I grew up in a rural area where I could always see the stars at night unless it was cloudy. I lived in a city for my first year of university and one of the things I missed most was being able to see the stars

its been p common knowledge for decades that light pollution can be massively reduced by just putting shades on streetlamps, and that doing that would save energy, help wildlife, and let us see the stars better, but are society says if u wanna change any minor little tiny thing u gotta dedicate ur whole life to campaigning for it and this is a good ways down the list of priorities for most ppl, so instead i gotta walk past newly-installed streetlamps that are just dumb glass globes that use half their electricity to blast half their light directly into the sky where it does only bad things for no reason and think "we should overthrow the government"
