Goodness! This thunderstorm came out of nowhere! Oh, little one, there's no reason to be afraid. Come out from under your covers, you're alright. I know, the thunder has been shaking the windows and the lightning makes the cows moo. But we're safe in our home, I promise. Do you want to come downstairs with me and make a fire in the hearth? We can cuddle in the couch and read a book. Mama can make you a warm bottle too. Want to bring your favorite stuffy? Before you know it, the storms will pass, and it will just be the pitter-patter of the rain. Pitter-patter, pitter-patter, just like your little feet! Oh, let's get some socks on your sweet little feet! The nights are starting to get colder too. I think fall is officially here, my darling.
