i don’t understand why instead of just making the elves communists, shannon messenger put exactly one braincell into making a lazy money system where money isn’t even essential.

would anyone read it if i wrote an alvar and biana vacker centric kotlc rewrite exploring their relationship, why alvar joined the neverseen, how it affected biana, and the vackers poor parenting/favoritism? it would be canon compliant, (i might mess stuff up but i will do my best), w/ ruyvar and biana x female oc (or maybe sophiana), and keefe & biana friendship. and more in depth backstories of all the neverseen members, like each of them would get their own chapters or few chapters of character studies, really showing what went wrong in their lives to lead them to joining the neverseen.

im already planning this so someone say they would read this (my ao3 is telegraphave)

but like she IS a bad friend. its obviously not her fault because she was so socially isolated but she is so horrible to dex.

i feel like that is mostly a problem with shannon’s writing though, not sophie’s character. she always writes characters out and then brings them back when she needs them as a plot device

a perfect example of this is marella, who was obviously made just to be a pyrokinetic to help sophie. maruca too, who was mentioned once and then was miraculously a psionipath.

bottom line, i hate shannon messenger 😁

Stop saying Sophie is a bad friend

She’s literally never had any friends before, so she doesn’t even know how to have friends, she’s supposed to be the savior of her world and fight bad guys, and she has a lot of trauma
