Haha, pretty rusty so far but excited to see where I take it. I want to give more facial expressions and add more motion to the photo, hopefully then it will be the intense mood I'm going for.

Working on some Cleo & Joe art for future chapters of Forbidden or Forgotten. I don't know which chapter, I'm just really desperate to draw Zombiecleo, her whole esthetic is sooooo fun to work with.

I caught the sun at a really cool moment! That "Love" is leftover from when my sister and I where goofing with wax-candle-fingers. I was going to clean the mess in the room before taking the pic but then I thought how representative of our relationship it was. We are messy, we goof around, and gosh, I love her. Thank you sis for always being there for me, cooking ramon with me, and putting up with my ridiculousness. Love yah. I'm so blessed to have you in my life, to share our walk with Christ together.

Here's a little sketch I drew in between classes. It's of the main cast(neglecting Wes, because I honestly forget about him. Lol, sorry Wes)in my current book: Christopher, Elizabeth, Penelope, Jazzmine, Zach, Seth, Sue, and Max. Together they make The Squeaky Ducklings. A very threatening name! All coming from difficult backgrounds, families lives, ethnicities, and even species, they have to work together to overcome their struggles and save their city from an intergalactic threat! I'm having so much fun challenging myself with this book, I cannot wait to share it with y'all!!

Had to repeat this alot to me, through spell-checks, rewrites, and entire re-plotting it's so easy to get discouraged. But keep going. Keep writing. That's what makes writers, writers, because they keep writing.

Fun fact:

Just because a story ends up needing more work than you thought it would does not mean you’re a bad writer or that your story it isn’t still worthwhile and fantastic.

Writing is an impossible craft to master.

But it’s still more than worth floundering through because if you keep going eventually you’ll come out the other side with something brilliant. 

In episode 40 of the orginal Naruto, "Kakashi and Orochimaru: Face-to-Face!" (一触即発!!カカシVS大蛇丸, Isshokusokuhatsu!! Kakashi tai Orochimaru) Kakashi say-

"Then Sasuke's one of your pawns?"

And Orochimaru responds-

"Oh not at all, he's a far more valuable piece then that."

And it's a super tense moment and all, I'm on the edge of my seat when my sister screams out in the perfect Orochimaru valley girl voice-

"He'S mY QuEeeeEEENNNNN!!"

I've been laughing none stop about it, so her and me made this! It is beautiful, everyone kneel before our Queen!!
