A fun fact: when I like something, I tend to love it to death. People think I'm really weird for that.

Here's an example: I made Tadashi's hat as precisely as I could. To the point where I also had the BACK of the hat embroidered. I was even upset with the way it turned out, because there were a lot of imperfections in the end (just look at the ninja's eyes).

I still love this hat to death though. I haven't found another hat as detailed as mine, and I am foolishly proud of that c:

Unproblematic

none of your faves are unproblematic. none of your friends or family are unproblematic. you are not unproblematic. there is literally no point during the process of learning about social justice type stuff and unlearning internalized bullshit and dismantling power systems at which you magically become enlightened and unproblematic. it does not exist. there is no tangible finish line, there is only endless, arduous work and it’s hard but it needs to be done.

And I had just recently read three articles stating that cats were heartless monsters.

Fanships

It bothers me when people ship two characters just because they're attractive males and females. Especially when romance between them is hardly indicated.

It bothers me more when people hate on fanships that are queer, presumably for changing "canon." I'm sorry that we're so underrepresented in cartoons that we have to "change" characters just so that we can identify with them more. I'm sorry that we're so starved to see a fulfilling queer relationship that we have to invent things just to feel satisfied.

Wait, why am I sorry? Throw us a bone here, will ya?
