I didn't mean light novel but i meant web novel hihihi sorry but what im talking about in the later statement are Chinese web novels, they usually have hundreds of chapters but the chapters are not that long probably 1k-2k words per chapter? they do not have the same aesthetics as the villainess troupe in manhwas but they almost have the basic plot but in modern setting or Chinese historical settings. My recommendations for this are "the ceo's villainess childhood friend" and " the villain and the canon fodders mother" there's a lot of stories that has almost the same plot as this 2 and im guilty of consuming and liking this stories even tho the plot doesn't make sense in some stories or there's a lot of plot holes in the story, they can be read in novelupdates website if your interested. And since you like reading the villainess manhwa troupe im sure you've read who made me a princess if not go read it hihihi
