I thought of making more portraits of my OCs in the same art style I used in my recent "OCs VS Artist" meme to include them on their profiles at my Toyhouse account. 📸✨ This is Takayama Ume; daughter of a Choshu scholar, waitress at the Mao restaurant, and best friend of my other OC Furukawa Chie!

⏳Journey to the Past: First artwork featuring Furukawa Chie (OC) and Toudou Heisuke that I made in 2016; a year before I started posting "A Friend Like You" (Hakuouki fanfic).

💡Fun Fact: Due to their similar hair color, many people thought that Heisuke's ponytail was actually Chie's and I ended up receiving multiple gift art of Chie sporting a ponytail added to her traditional hairstyle. 😂 This led me to make sure to color her hair with a different shade of brown than Heisuke's in future drawings, lol!
