Knowing every possible future can't be any form of freedom when you are chained to the only route that will save humanity. A route that kills 62 billion and counting in order to save the rest and it's all for a goal hundreds of millennia in the future.

By becoming the Kwisatz Haderach you have doomed the rest of your lineage to take part in your bloody work and have forever stained your beloved father's name.

The golden path is paved with blood on Atreides hands, but would not interfering make it any different? Can you justify the means if it means the survival of your race? Do you even deserve to survive after what you've done?

Does Paul(and Leto II) actually limit the possibilities through his/their own perception of the future? Could it have gone differently if humanity hadn't discovered the spice and interfered with time in the first place?

Or, like eating the one forbidden fruit in the middle of a garden, was this always the only option for us because humans can't help but fuck around and find out?

This portrait took me almost a week to finish, but I had a lot of fun working on this. I'm both glad and kinda sad it's finished already.

Surprisingly the hardest part to draw is that damned phone cord and it's many coils.

Oh hi there good omens fandom, did I mention I made a Bildad costume?

It's not entirely done but it was done enough to wear to a convention! There's still some things I'd like to tweak cause I'm a perfectionist and OBSESSED with his costume. Like I could write an essay on the construction alone but I digress.

It was such a blast seeing the delight on all the good omens fans faces when they spotted me, the collective love for Bildad is truly a highlight of the fandom!
