just saw a post from my old blog going around explaining how trauma works and that any event can be traumatic regardless of how “bad” it was due to a number of outside factors and someone commented “that would mean almost everyone alive has trauma though….”

correct! most people have survived or are surviving some form of trauma! trauma that has been so normalized as something many people “have” to experience that you don’t even consider your trauma “valid.” poverty is traumatic. health issues can be traumatic. family deaths can be traumatic. school bullying can be traumatic. minor car accidents. muggings even if you don’t get hurt.

He has absolutely scared the rest of the crew with his kitchen voice on a few occasions.

He has also used the fact that it scares them to his advantage on a few occasions.

He also has a customer service voice that's somehow even scarier

Contents of his pockets include: cigarettes and lighter (obviously), notepad and pencil, permanent marker, thermometer, and a spoon

(Luffy finds out about the spoon and wants to know why he can't have one too, so Sanji gives him an extra spoon because well. It won't hurt anything. Luffy loses it almost immediately but it shows up every so often in the most random places)

Everytime there’s an incident I think to myself “Luffy would not be happy about this”

I was 35 when I even started to think, why I feel like I feel and who am I really, inside. It never occured me that I might be different - I just tried to make others happy in ways I would take well from somebody else and was confused and troubled, when they were not very happy at all. Like ... they were a little content. And I never even thought about why they did not respond to me with the same behavior. NEVER. It did not accure to me that if I go out of my way for somebody, maybe they should also make a little tour for me. Never. I started to think I may be autistic after my Big Fat Suicide. Yeah, I came out alive. Still don't understand, how. I mean, I went out for sure death, not cutting veins, no tablets. But here I am. Now I have ADHD diagnose also. And I'm obsessed to my own psychology. Shit, there so many - SO MANY - "truths" out there with backround: "Well, people are like that." And I'm not like that. Not at ALL. At. All. And I am "people" too. Don't forget it!
