I also think this is the reason why Peepers often behaves like a parental figure towards Hater

I'm reviewing this series. I can't help but notice how Hater definitely wants Peepers to be around and have fun WITH HIM, but doesn't do it because of the Awesome influence. Hater REMEMBERS about Peepers and WANTS TO SPEND TIME WITH HIM, while Peepers thinks that this is not the case (for obvious reasons)
