You know that even the smallest interactions are like cocaine to fic writers right? You understand how important a string of emoji hearts left behind on chapter at three am is right?? Right????

People had always told Hizashi that he was good with children. Countless times throughout his life he had heard those words being spoken to him, whether they were from somebody close to him or not, they all seemed to share the same opinion.

Or five instances in which Hizashi Yamada was there for his students and one time in which he was there for his child.

And that's another one of my comfort queer shows just cancelled, I heard a similar thing about What We Do in the Shadows, should I even watch it now? I'm so upset you guys :(

thanks the goddess for fanfics. i'm so sad and i really hate the hbo new board (since hbo was bought by discovery they have made some atrocious decisions around many shows with a big damage to creators and fans).

but i see a pattern, which is giving me even more grief.

the two queer shows of this and last decade, ofmd and sense8, were cut short. and that's because queer joy is dangerous. Black, Brown and Indigenous joy is dangerous. autistic joy is dangerous.

that's because NOT perpetuating racism, lgbtq+phobia, toxic masculinity, sexism, colonialism; because bringing queer joy, bringing Black, Brown and Indigenous joy; bringing trans joy - it is a danger for the heteromatrix; it is a danger for whyte supremacy; it is disturbing the comfortable; it is comforting the disturbed; it is pushing the semantic field of "possible", "expectable" and "thinkable".

Our Joy Is Revolutionary.
