“My Ghostly Academia” Sally Face x My Hero Academia AU

Chapter 1, “Sal’s introduction”

My name’s Sal, but everyone normally calls me Sally Face. I’m called that because I have a prosthetic face. I don’t really care to bring up those memories, but I don’t have a face because of a dog attack. Most people assume I have something against dogs now but I never judge an entire species based off of the actions of one.

Along with my prosthetic face and bright blue pigtails, I have a pretty unique quirk. When I was little, there was a man who lived in my closet. My parents always thought he was an imaginary friend, but I later found out that I could to see many people that others couldn’t. My quirk allows me to see and talk to any type of spirit. I once met a soldier from the civil war but that’s an entirely different story.

When I was 15, my Dad and I moved into the Addison apartments. My life turned into a crazy mess. It was a good mess though. I met my best friends, Larry, Todd, and Ashley. We went on so many insane adventures. I had the honor of meeting many ghosts in the apartments. One ghost, Megan, became another one of my best friends. Life was pretty good for a while. Well if you’d call good putting away an innocent man for murder, a incident with bologna, demons, and cult activity.

Through all of the hardships, I always had my friends to stick by my side. But one day, that all changed. I was 20 at the time. We were given a mission that we couldn’t deny. That horrible day I lost the person who meant the entire world to me. Even though I could still see and hear Larry, it just wasn’t the same. I felt as though my heart had been ripped out. In the end, I had to do what was right. I had to “cleanse the darkness”. I almost can’t bear to think about it. I had no choice. I had to kill them all.

The police arrived and I was taken away. As I was being put into the police car, I stared longingly at the apartments for the last time. My mind was clouded by grief. My only comfort through the trial was seeing that Larry. His words kept me going. Although it was so hard not to be able to reach out to him. Not to be able to feel his comfort.

I was 25 and I had accepted my fate. Today was the day of my execution. Not going to lie, I’m ready. No one could save me. The time struck 6:33. I sat in the chair awaiting death. Out of no where, I heard a huge explosion.

My Ghostly Academia Chapter 2 “New beginnings” Sally Face x My Hero Academia

A sharp ringing plagued my ears. My vision was blurry. I strained my eye(Sal is missing an eye btw) to see my surroundings. Flashing colors of men in uniforms darted around me. For a moment, I thought I was a ghost myself, but then I felt a hand on my shoulder. I felt my restraints be removed from my wrists and ankles. As I tried to turn my head to see who was helping me, my eye grew heavier than before. I felt my body yield to sleep, although I fought against reluctantly.

I jolted upwards. Spending several moments to catch my breath, I felt my surroundings trying to figure out where I was. I moved my blue bangs away from my single eye. I was surprised to find that I wasn’t in a jail cell. The walls of the room where red and it was dimly lit. I turned to find my prosthetic sitting on a side table with two hair ties next to it.

After taking some time to gather my thoughts and calm down, I swung my legs to the side of the bed and picked up my prosthetic. I let out a soft laugh while I stared at it. “Never imagined I’d see you again.” I whispered to myself. While I placed my prosthetic on my scarred face, thoughts of fear, sadness, and uncertainty attacked me. “Who is responsible for this and why?” I stood up and stared at the red door in front of me.

My shaky hand reached for the doorknob. I placed my hand on it and turned. A clicking sound reached my ears. As I sharply inhaled as I thought to myself, “Why is it unlocked?” Many questions rushed into my head as I pondered whether to open the door further. “Screw it.” I quickly slammed the door open. Remaining silent out of shock, I realized that there was no one there. Relaxing my body, I stepped into the hallway and observed my surroundings.

After wandering around for several minutes, I encountered another room. The building was large but seemed vacant. The red walls and carpet gave off an uncomfortable feeling. I reached for the doorknob on the oak door in front of me. Before I placed my hand on it, it opened. I jumped back in surprise. My breathing quickened. The lighting inside the room was dim, making it difficult to see who was inside. I gathered my courage and entered, fearing the worst.

Now being able to observe the room more closely, I saw several ghosts inside. But I realized I needed to take my attention off the dead, and keep my guard up. I was quickly taken out of my thoughts by a hoarse voice.

“Sal Fisher, isn’t it? I’ve waited some time for this meeting.”
