I felt like Rowena was putting on a show, that she was good and everything was amazing, for Sam’s benefit.  She didn’t want him to feel bad about what happened.  So, she deflected the only way she knows how, with sex and humour, and it’s why she won’t let Sam talk about the events of 15x03.

I’m so glad Rowena is back, but this change in her is HIGHLY DISCONCERTING.
