KoA should have ended with everyone getting together years into the future, celebrating the anniversary of the end of the war and we see Rowaelin babies. Or at least Aelin announces that she’s pregnant. Or is this just me?

Gotta be honest...

I did not see Rowan and Aelin’s relationship going any further after HoF. I mean, I knew we were going to see Rowan play a huge role throughout the rest of the books, but at that point I was somewhat frustrated. Nearly every male character had: been with Aelin romantically, had implied or directly told us/her that they loved her, or had just flirted with her (Ress). I mean there was on official attempt at a betrothal between Aedion and Aelin, for God’s sake! So I guess I just wanted to finally have a male character that would only be her friend, and never tried to flirt with her or anything. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Rowaelin ship. I do. But please tell me someone else felt this way? Even a little bit?
