— She is 7 years older than Ted and Felix.

— She is Ted and Felix's half-sister, Mr. Huxley had her before he married the Huxley twins' mother.

— The Huxley twins' mother knows about Luaranne's existence and doesn't care about her.

— Ted and Felix know her, but their parents told them that Luaranne is their cousin.

— Luaranne doesn't like her father, mainly because he is very absent, but she is forced to go to any family event involving the Huxleys.
