so i’d say it was sukuna who asked you out, which was a surprise for both of you actually. he just didn’t expect himself to feel so much about you that he’d even consider taking you on a proper date and court you somewhat accordingly, but yk who ever knows anything certainly? he just caught you in the hallway on some random day and gave you his signature smirk,

“wanna go out tomorrow, loser?” he muttered with a smirk as he curled a strand of your hair around his finger.

your face scrunched in confusion and some kind of horror, “ehh? me?”

sukuna wasn’t that patient before your relationship so his smirk quickly disappeared as he tugged that same strand down with a roll of his eyes. “i take it back.”

you were also the one to say ‘i love you’ first!! it was kind of indirect, i’d say? you just couldn’t contain your emotions after sukuna won a game he’s been practicing for with his team for a while now. his eyes quickly found you on the bleachers and he winked at you with a proud smirk of a winner, so you couldn’t help the admiration and love overwhelming you as you mouthed the 3 words to him, sincerely hoping he’ll understand.

sukuna understood, the smirk dimming on his lips only to spread into a wide toothy smile a second after, mouthing the words back at you.
