Day 15 - Striatil and a Spotil I wonder If I should separate these and get two posts instead of one... .3. Nah I feel kinda guilty for just drawing a Spotil again. XD; Admitedly it's a different kind of Spotil though... It's probably a Small Spotil. Different species, slightly different taste, same deal. XD It's like how we have different kinds of apples. Yeah. As for Striatils, those are a whole different animal--or plant, so to speak. XD A relative to the Spotil of course, but actually tastes a bit like a mix between a pumpkin (hard, thick skin) and a melon. I think. I'm actually not sure what the second half is. It's sort of a bland, but sweet taste... like a white jellybean in sweetness but watery and melonish in consistency. ...Sorry I fail at descriptions. XD; but yeah. Striatils are less common, and hence can't really be counted as a staple food anywhere. They prefer the drier, more alkaline soil of the northern tip of Wing Alayna (continent on which the territory of Buddy World resides; ignore the erroneous naming there XD;), and can be found in various places along its coasts. So basically because they're less common, they're not eaten quite as often, and are considered to be more of a rare treat than a substantial food item. So yeah, that's about it. I'll leave you now to... stare at imaginary fruits. XD; yeah.

Well look at that! XD It’s a painting of Naru... Haven’t done this char in forever. I think me and Songa got to talking about Naru and Shiido and I started sketching them again to get a feel for how to draw them again, anddd yeah. XD Then a painting happened. Touched it up a little today, had it sitting around for a couple days doing nothing but decided to finish it up today and post it somewhere. Still a little scrubby, but yah. I did this with no line :D The only lines are those painterly kind of you see there. With a thin brush and pressurized opacity... I call em painterly lines XD since it’s not the same as sketch lines. So yah. Have a Naru, everyone! XD

Day 21 - Blue So eh... still catching up. XD I had at least three drawings planned that I was gonna do for Inktober and theyyy didn't pan out. At least not past the sketch stage. XD So yeah. Instead you can have a drawing of a little girl I did from a reference. Who looks suspicously like Akita now that I think of it. e-e Sword/Dia's Akita that is... Day 13 - Phyrne (sketch and ink; color still WiP) So yeah. I doodled this earlier today and was like you know what? Let's ink it. So here it is. Phyrne here is somebody I've been concepting for a while now trying to get right, and I think I finally got somewhere. XD Only problem is, I botched the color on the ink! ...Or more specifically, I have no idea what her color scheme is! XD I can't decide if I want her to be more part-plantish with plant-like skin or just plain human skin... I'm leaning towards plant though, so I put up both a colored version of the sketch with a more idealized color scheme done digitally, and a cool but not quite what I wanted traditional color of her on the ink. Day 25 - New Follower! So... Two things. One, I had nothing to ink today, two, I just found out I got a new follower yesterday! 8DD Hi wantering-dressed-in-red~! Checked out your blog. You got some pretty cool fashion stuff! If I was into that I'd totally follow you. :D I hope you stay and enjoy my drawings~ And if you're asking why I'm making this big a deal over followers, it's because I don't have any followers outside my circle of friends. >u>;; So if you like my stuff, please tell people about it! :D ...Y'know, I think it really says something about me that I'm asking a total stranger who might not even see this in their feed to advertise for me XD; Eesh, I need to network more u3u; Anyway though glad to have you on board.
