I've Shared Amal's Gofundme (@amalashuor) Several Times, But I Just Received Messages From Her That Broke
i've shared amal's gofundme (@amalashuor) several times, but i just received messages from her that broke my heart

amal is a 26 year old mother from gaza. she is an incredibly dedicated and loving mother to her year old daughter, maryam. before the war, she was studying to receive her masters degree in french language. on her instagram (@/amal_sufian97_) she shared beautiful photos of her life and family in the years before the war.

now amal, her husband, and maryam have been displaced several times and have nowhere to turn to. amal wishes to finish her degree, and both she and her husband want nothing more than a better life for their young daughter. every time i receive a message from amal, my heart is full knowing she is still alive, but it breaks for her suffering. i implore you, please donate any amount you're able to help amal and her family escape gaza. they deserve nothing less than safety, warmth, love, laughter, security, and life. as of july 6th, €1,025 / €30,000 has been raised. her campaign is also included on el-shab-hussein and nabulsi's spreadsheet of verified fundraiser (#175). if you're unable to donate, please share. i want nothing more than to give amal hope that she can provide a better life for her daughter.

nobody better be posting about the met gala without mentioning the giant pro-palestine demonstration going on outside
Reminder you're not a bad person for feeling sick about the situation in Palestine.
I've seen people feel bad for feeling sick and needing to step away for a second from what was going on.
And that doesn't make you a bad person. You're SUPPOSED to feel sick while seeing it, you're supposed to feel that gut wrenching feeling, you're supposed to cry, be angry, be anxious, yes.
Because that means you're seeing what's going on, that means you understand. That means you're on the right side of history.
Just don't step away and not come back, we need you at this table, we need you to tell everyone about what is going on. People need to be aware of this.
Also reminder: Ignore the zionists interacting with you, if anything it only helps reach more people. They know what is going on is bad, but they're choosing to be delusional and support a genocide.
I'm Nour Alanqar, and reaching out to you during a time of unimaginable hardship. I am 26 years old, married to Ashraf Ismail, who is 32, and together we have three beautiful children: Hussein, 6, Rajaa, 5, and Youssef, just 10 months old. Our lives have been turned upside down by the devastating war in Gaza, and we desperately need your help.
My daughter Rajaa is a radiant beam of sunshine, bringing boundless joy, warmth, and love to everyone she meets.

On a dark night at the beginning of the war, our area was subjected to massive bombing. The explosions reached our home, forcing us to flee into the night, running amidst periodic explosions and searching for survival. We made our way to southern Gaza by morning, seeking refuge in Rafah.
This is our home, filled with our memories and moments of joy and happiness, now reduced to rubble. Its destruction shattered our hearts.

In Rafah, we found shelter in a crowded warehouse filled with strangers, all of us struggling to find basic necessities like food, water, safety, and cleanliness. Despite these challenges, we were again hit by direct bombardment. My husband was injured in the shoulder, and the scene around us was filled with blood and corpses. The cries of my children in those moments still echo in my head.
A fragment of what it once was, and now, what it has become.

We moved several times to places described as safe, only to face new tragedies. During this period, my precious daughter Raja contracted hepatitis, adding to our suffering.
It was incredibly difficult for me to endure these disasters, especially as I was in the process of giving birth. Youssef was deprived of proper breastfeeding and the necessary nutrition for his age. Hussein's right to education and a safe childhood have been cruelly taken from him.
My baby Youssef, whom I clung to throughout the war, running with him through the rubble of shattered homes to escape.

At an age when Hussein should have been enjoying his childhood, all his rights were taken away from him.

Our situation is dire, and we need your support to rebuild our lives and provide a future for our children. Your kindness and generosity can make a profound difference. Your contributions will help us secure safe shelter, access to medical care, and the basic necessities of life.
Please, consider helping us during this critical time. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to safety, stability, and a chance to rebuild our lives.

Hello, my name is Muhammad. I am creating this account to help me and my family. I am a second-year university student majoring in nursing, but unfortunately the war deprived me of my most basic rights, and it did not make me believe that I would complete my education and plan for my future, which I was waiting to achieve by completing her university studies.

Therefore, we resorted to creating this link to collect $50,000 so that we could pay for coordination to enter the crossing to travel, because my family and I are 9 people.

We lost a lot during the war. We lost our homes and property, we lost the elements of life that we relied on, and we lost all of our jobs that we used to live on, hoping that we would have a new destination outside of the war, leave Gaza, and build a new life, a life free of worry and sufferingAnd psychological fatigue and constant deprivation in order to have a decent life worthy of us as human beings.

I did not think that a day like this would come upon me when I would ask for help from anyone, but what can I do? This is the condition of an entire country, and all of this I do in the hope of starting again and taking my family and brothers’ children who are still not married. The meaning of a normal life free of these cruel scenes.

I apologize for disturbing you and getting into the details of my life, but you are helping a family start over. A normal life, like life, nothing more.
_With all my gratitude ❤️

please don’t stop talking about the massacres happening in palestine. never look away from these people who are suffering everyday and are barely surviving. DO NOT LOOK AWAY.
never be the person who sits infront of the screen in silence. there is a whole nation out there who are being violently attacked for simply fighting for their human rights.
please, please don’t forget about PALESTINE. don’t forget about the people who suffered the loss of their families, livelihood, human rights, and freedom.
FREE PALESTINE!
I STAND WITH PALESTINE! 🇵🇸
