No this isnt a gimmick. I aint sending you rage obsessed freaks to funny websites, it will only be 100% boring shit. I am divorcing myself from the community of getting irrationally angry at random crap. If i am going to be angry at something, its going to be because i accidentally drove over a pothole or something.

concept: aliens keeping humans as pets

you know how like, dog toys are vaguely reminiscent of stuff wolves have and stuff we have? like toy squeaky bone or a dog house that looks like a human house. imagine if aliens had humans as pets and all the "human toys" are just stuff weirdly similar to stuff we have in our society. "nonono human no drawing on the walls! go play with your W-2 forum!" or like, an alien opens a box of human food and then tiny lil soft burgers spill into the bowl or maybe you walk into your house and there is a tiny little toilet for the pet human akin to how we have litter boxes for cats? etc etc. this is a neat concept man!!! people should use this concept!

no but that is an interesting interpretation ! to give a hint: i took a real object in the real world and described that, this simulates what happens when explorers TELL people about what they say without anyone else having any additional context, and their interpretations of it. Edit: crap accidentally reblogged with my main, eh its ok.

little project i made in anthropology class

essentially i took an everyday thing, put a super detailed description of said thing through google translate 50 times to simulate misunderstanding between people, and then draw whatever it gave me. It is lowkey inspired by my favorite book: Codex Seraphinianus if you guys can guess exactly what the original item is, i would be impressed.

cult of the lamb relics of the old faith theory: chemach

SPOILERS AFTER CUT

theory 1- Chemach is a reanimated corpse by ??? designed to guide the player into higher power or maybe something else in the story that has not been explained yet. theory 2- Chemach did some spooky magic stuff to try and create their own cult. maybe they stole power from ???, maybe ??? gave Chemach the crown and that ended badly, or maybe another unexplained reason. Either way there is a reason why this blitzed out owl is chained up constantly, either because they are a puppet to ??? or chained because they are nuts.

a few things to note first- Chemach's crown looks very similar to diseased hearts. Diseased hearts also look similar to ??? but with a slightly inverted color scheme. Second- Chemach's dialogue they randomly say is a bit suspect, here is stuff i posted from the wiki. Its a little concerning how Chemach seems to have no real followers but rather corpses they strung together with fabric. I don't see a lot of people talking about this so i thought i should post it!
