Chapter 1

The Crash site

-"Altah! Get away from the rubble! It's dangerous!"

-"Don't worry dad! I'll be fine!''

CRACK the ground beneath the Osmothian dog crumbled, making him slide down even closer to the pulsating light emitting from the meteor.

-"It feels alive? in a way..", Altah mumbled, trying to get back up, his white paws covered in mud slipping every so often. The once pristine, fluffy, deep brown fur, was now soaked to the bone with the rain. The harsh winds and thundering storms made a chilling symphony. Then, as if the planet stopped for a second and calmed down, everything faded into nothingness. Time slowed, but not to a complete stop. Altah felt as if he was feeling Osmoths own core of the planet pulsating. It was following the same rhythm as the light from the meteor. It almost felt... like a heartbeat.

-"Get back boy! Climb up fa-"

And before the Osmothian researcher could finish his sentence, the pulsating light shot out. Throwing everyone and everything around it away.

Honestly, if you told me: "Hey Altah, you're gonna go flying into the air because the meteorite that crashed into your planet decided to explode in blinding light." I wouldn't have believed you. But here I am. I guess I need to give you all a little backstory as to how I got here.

My name is Altah. I'm a dog-like creature from the planet Osmoth. I am roughly 18 years old, human-wise. To picture how I look, imagine a really big fluffy dog with sandy fur and white patches. To briefly summarise this is the story of how I befriended the sleeping comet.

8 AM Nightacre Village, Willrage residence, Altahs room

 The sound of the keyboard clacking and the subtle noise of the crystal-powered computer filled the air. Open on a computer was a chat room between two friends- Altah and Ode. Two unlikely friends, one, a dog and scientist in training, and the other, a human with a more creative approach to life, a student studying fashion design.

FashionCat: "Hey, I heard there was a crash on Osmoth near your house. Heard it was a spaceship or something alike."

WonderDog: "Nah, nothing as cool. Heard from Mom it was only a meteorite. Her and dads research team are gonna go check it out, and as their 'junior' assistant, I can go with them."

FashionCat: "Luckyyy, don't forget to send me plenty of photos and videos!!!"

-"Altah! Get your paws down here before I drag you down by that scarf of yours!"

-"Coming Mom!"

WonderDog: "Gotta go Ode! Mom's calling me. See you later! Good luck with finding the fabric you need! Paws out!"

Altah stood up and shook sandy fur.

-"Man... I'm starving."

He trotted down the seemingly never-ending oak stairs, the smell of flavenberry pancakes wafting through the air as he got closer to the kitchen. In it, he saw his family. All were busy setting up the table for breakfast.

-"Altah be a good sport and help your mom and sister set up the table”- his dad -Andrew- told him while standing by the crystal-powered stove.

Altah helped his mom and sister carry the plates full of ripe fruits, and jars of syrup and Altah a jug full of eomond and tangerine juice.

After setting up the table, the eight family members sat down and ate their breakfast.

"Alright, dear, go get ready. We'll be leaving soon", his mom, Loraine, spoke to him kindly.

And so he went up the winding stairs up to his room. His room was modest if he had to admit- a bed and desk on the left and a dresser and bookshelf, on the right. All tied together by the massive window across from the door. A few decorations, okay a lot were scattered around the room. In general, his room was quite a standard room for an Osmothian teenager. For others though, living in a massive hollowed-out oak tree turned into a house might be considered not normal.

Grabbing his satchel and signature yellow scarf, he gave himself one last look in the mirror. Standing in front of the mirror he gave himself a look over. You can't go to an important research facility while looking like a mess. That's something Ode always said. Maybe not the research facility part, but you get the idea. Tying the scarf into a Boy Scout knot he thought-

"Man, I need to brush out my tails"

Going back down the countless stairs to the front door, he said his goodbyes to his siblings and went outside. Stepping out, he was blinded by the bright morning sun. Squinting from the light he saw his parents standing by a toutanus bird- a type of carrier bird used for transportation in Osmoth. They were packing the essentials for their travels south to the makeshift research centre surrounding the crash site. Walking over to the bird, he helped them pack up. Hopping onto the giant carrier bird, the three of them left.

The ride took a few hours, passing over the Lourset forest and the Verliers sea.

 4:00 PM VERLIERS RESEARCH CENTRE

By the time they had arrived at their destination, roughly 5 hours had passed and the once clear sunny sky had become engulfed by dreary storm clouds. Upon landing, they were greeted at the entrance by Dr Lowe - one of the main head researchers. He was quite the character- a Scottish terrier appearance-wise, with dark grey fur and some greying spots. He had his signature lab coat with the Creed of Alowas crest on the left shoulder. Although, that wasn't his most striking feature. No, if you asked most it would be the steampunk-looking monocle adorned on his right eye.

-"Good day, Dr Andrews, Dr Loraine. Good to see you too my boy", Dr Lowe stated, "I hope you read the report because we could use the extra paws and minds. We have honestly no idea where this so-called meteor came from, or what it is."

-"What do you mean 'what it is ", questioned Loraine.

Dr Lowe turned around and gestured for them to follow him. Going through the facility was an experience, to say the least- with frantic researchers running around, equipment and trailers everywhere. Altah was surprised anyone found anything in that mess. He had never seen so many scientists so frantic in his life- and he was raised by scientists and brought along to these kinds of events all his life.

They finally stopped by the crash centre. A massive hole surrounded by tape and metal fences all around it, with a bright light shining down on it. 

-"Come look at this device, it's used to check for life energy. I think we used it once back in '08 in Tenereve", beckoned Dr Lowe in his thick accent, "If you'll look at these results, you'll see that the centre of the entire meteor is brimming with life. Honestly, it feels as if the energy in it, is trying to escape."

Continuing to walk around the facility, Altah ended up drifting away from others. By that point, it had started to drizzle. But even he could feel the oncoming storm. Unknowingly, he had made his way back to the meteor. He should have gone back to his parents' trailer to get out of the rain. But for some reason, he felt like he had to be there, by the meteor.

THUNDER

-"Altah, there you are! We wondered where you ran off to", Andrew yelled out to him, his voice barely being heard over the now howling wind and rain. "One of the researchers said you've been just zoned out sitting and watching the meteor for hours. Come inside and warm -DONT- up-"

-"Huh? Dad, did you hear that? The voices just now!"

-"What voices? Son come inside it's about to start thundering."

FLASH

-DON'T LEAVE HER-

-"Don't leave her? DON'T LEAVE WHO??? Common dad, you had to hear that! Right?!", Altah yelled out, tears  coming out of his eyes.

-"SIR!!! THE METEOR IS STARTING TO CRACK AND GLOW", frantically shouted a nearby researcher.

All at once- all of the yelling, the noises from the horrid weather, and the voices telling him to stay became too much for the young dog and he crumbled to the ground. Yelping loudly, he threw his paws over his ears and eyes. The ground beneath him echoed his actions and broke inwards, sliding him down to the meteor.

-"Altah! Get away from the rubble! It's dangerous!"

-"Don't worry dad! I'll be fine!''

CRACK! The ground beneath the Osmothian dog crumbled, even more, making him slide down even closer to the pulsating light emitting from the meteor.

-SHE NEEDS YOU-

-"It feels alive? in a way..", Altah mumbled, trying to get back up, his white paws covered in mud slipping every so often.

- STAY!!!-

-"Get back boy! Climb up fa-"

And before Dr Lowe could finish his sentence, the pulsating light shot out throwing everything, and everyone, around it away.

Hello!! This is kind of a funny one but could I request kaeya x reader (established relationship) with her finding out that her sign/mbti type is incompatible with kaeya and is upset about it and knows it's ridiculous but can't help feeling this way lol have a great day/evening ♡

“Hey, you’re home early!”

“Yeah, Jean let us go home early.” Kaeya mused from his spot from the front door.

Walking over to the couch he leaned down to give you an ‘I’m back’ kiss.

“Oh? That’s generous of her. Have to thank her for letting you go so early.”

“Yeah, I kept in her words ‘whining that I miss you dearly’, so she let me go home~” Kaeya spoke as he sat down on the couch and pulled you in his lap. “Speaking of work, we had to do a fun little test today.”

“Oh, fun, how so?”

“We had to take the MBTI test, something about who works better with whom. Turns out I’m an ENTP, who would’ve guessed.” Kaeya laughed in his breathy tone.

“Yeah, who would’ve…” You rolled your eyes in a joke-y manner. “Definitely not all of us~”

Huffing, Kaeya pulled you closer and began peppering your neck with kisses as his fingers deftly began tickling your sides.  Laughing along with you, Kaeya let ou a startled gasp as he almost fell to the floor as you pulled him down.

“Okay, okay you win, now go wash up, you stink from work.” Laughing you spoke, ushering him upstairs.

“And here I though you loved me.” Pouting the lanky blue haired man walked slowly up the stairs, looking back at you with a pout occasionally.

After he was gone, you cozied up back on the couch and flicked through your phone. Tapping the edge of the phone a few times in though, you searched up the quiz and took it.

“I’m an (mbti)…We…we aren’t compatible.”

“Hm. What did you say?” Kaeya’s voice startled you.

Turning around, you saw him walking towards you, towelling his long hair and wearing a comfy pair of black sweatpants.

“Oh nothing, nothing.”

Sitting back down onto the couch, Kaeya peered over your shoulder to look at your phone screen.

“Oh, cool. You got (mbti).”

“You know nothing about this, don’t you?”

“Guilty is charged. Come on, I think (show) is starting soon.” Kaeya said as he pulled you back to lie against his toned chest and watch the show on the TV.

While watching the TV you couldn’t help but feel down. It was silly being upset over something as trivial as having an mbti that doesn’t match with your partners. Plenty of people have healthy relationships where their personality types aren’t compatible.  So then why did this hurt so much?

As a few days went on, Kaeya could see that something was wrong, but whenever he approached you on the topic, you brushed him off with a smile, saying that nothing was wrong, or you were just tired. But Kaeya, being your partner of more than a couple of months, did not take those answers and began getting more worried.

So here was, in Lisa’s library drinking tea with her.

“So you’re telling me you’re little cutie has been distant? Any idea what caused it?” Lisa said as she poured him yet another cup.

“Well, not really, but before the shift, we were talking about the mbti’s. She seemed to not like her results…” Kaeya answered.

“Oh, what were her results?”

“(mbti).”

“And you’re an ENTP?”Lisa chuckled.

“Yeah, but what does that have to do with anything?”

“Everything silly. By mbti standards, you aren’t compatible.”

“That would… explain some things…” Kaeya quickly drank what was left of his tea and stood up. “If you’ll excuse me I have to go find my darling!”

With a wave of his hand Kaeya bolted out of the library leaving behind a chuckling Lisa, shaking her head.

“Hey, hey there you are! Can we talk for a quick second?” The sound of Kaeya slamming the door open startled you from your place in the living room.

“Uh sure, but shouldn’t you be at work?”

“Not important.” Kaeya said as he gestured you to sit down at the dinner table. “Does it bother you that our mbti’s aren’t compatible?”

“Where’s this coming from Kae?” you chuckled nervously.

“I was talking to Lisa and she mentioned that it might be that. And it made sense, so I rushed over here.”

“…”

“Look, I’m not mad. But if it is that, then you have to let me know, so I can get Diluc off my back, because I swear he thinks I did something and is probably plotting how to get rid of me  and make me atone for my mistakes. ” Kaeya joked to try and lighten the mood.

“I know it’s silly, but I got really worried, I know it’s something trivial, but I got so scared you would leave to find a better match.”

“Hey, we’ve been together for how long? And nothing has happened. Do you think I really care about some arbitrary letters that say what kind of person you are? I know who you are, and you are a kind and caring person, who lights up my world every time I look at you. You stood beside me even after you found out about my lineage, and after you found out about my past. So why would I ever leave you because of some silly 4 letters?”

Kaeye pulled you in close in a tight hug. He held on to you as hard and as long as he could, making sure you could feel his love oozing out of him.

“I know, I know, it’s why I felt silly to be so upset over it.”

 “Don’t be, we all get like this. I’m just happy it’s nothing major. Now how about I take the rest of the day off to reassure you I love you.”

“How about you go tell your brother to stop preparing your funeral? Joking, joking. I’ll gladly spend the rest of the day with you.”

“Good, don’t forget I love you regardless of anything.”

Hello! May I request the Astral Express Crew (Platonic) ((maybe plus Jing Yuan if your okay with that)) reacting to frail!soft!observant!reader, who usually either stays on the express with PomPom or running small (relatively safe) errands, having extremely strong mental resilience?

The group is confronting a very enemy that has the ability to cause agonizing mental pain (turns out its the enemies severe depression) with their mind powers by using their opponents' fears against them. (Which the pain alone had the ability and has driven people insane) It's kept everyone else back a significant distance (including Welt and Jing Yuan), except he reader, who appears to be completely unaffected.

Turns out the reader had enured the same agonizing mental pain that was inflicted on everyone(which exponentially increased the closer they got to the enemy). Due to their past experiences with living with moderate to severe depression and the high levels of self-actualization they had gained as a result, the reader managed to pull through and defeat the enemy alone with some injuries.

Yeah, they cried and was much more softer and frail afterward, but they made a full (mental) recovery after a few days of just resting in their cabin on the Express. Even then, the reader still made the effort of checking in on everyone afterward and offering comfort, space, or just company if needed. ( Reader knows they have the experience and the tools to cope, and they know that the others are more shaken than they say they are)

Title: Resilience

Pairing/s: Platonic Astral Express Crew (+ Jing Yuan)

Genre: Angst w/happy ending

Word count: 825

I can imagine it was supposed to be a regular mission with the express trio (March 7th, Trailblazer and Dan Heng) at the Loufu. Some kind of Marastruck shenanigans. But obviously the enemy turned out to be tougher than they look and took down the three with its power. Thankfully, both Welt and Jing Yuan were nearby to help. That backfired badly when the enemy attacked them and after back and forth, it had landed hits on both of them, giving them the same sense of depression as everyone else had.

Back on the express, Himeko, MC, and PomPom were getting worried when they hadn’t heard anything from the crew in a while. It took a while, but a distress call was sent to the express. Himeko volunteered to go alone, but MC quickly joined in, saying two people would be better than one.

They quickly found everyone a ways away from the abnormal marastruck. Himeko and MC rushed to help everyone get back on their feet.

“What happened here?” Himeko asked looking over an in agony Welt.

“The marastruck, it’s playing tricks with our minds, making us see what we’re afraid of the most.” Welt explained, clutching his head.

“We need to get everyone far away!”

With Himekos order, MC and Himeko gathered everyone away to a safe distance. But even that didn’t do much to help.

“We need a healer. Jing Yuan, are there any nearby? ” MC asked to the slouched over general.

“Call Lady Bailu, she’ll know what to do…”

Before Himeko or MC could even reach for their phones, the abnormal marastruck found them and charged at them. Himeko tried to hold it back but was hit with a head on blast.

MC stared at the marastruck as it dropped Himekos body down to the ground. It walked slowly towards MC. But to everyone’s surprise, the usually soft spoken and danger avoidant MC stood their ground, showing no fear. Summoning their weapon MC got into a fighting stance, placing their body in front of everyone and acting as a shield.

“You’re… the last one… standing…” the marastruck spoke, its voice distorted. With a flick of its hand, the emotions started to overwhelm everyone further.

MC knew that there was little time left.

“So what’s your power? Being a pain in everyone’s ass? Or being annoying?”

“You speak so highly, SO I’LL MAKE YOU REGRET COMING HERE!!!” the marastruck ran towards the MC, aiming to kill.

“You use your own fear against everyone; wither them down until nothings left of their mind, making them join you.” MC spoke, anger in their voice as they lifted their weapon high and getting ready to fight.

It drew closer, as did its effect on everyone behind MC.

“I hope you had your fun, because this is the last time you make anyone suffer!” MC shouted as they used their weapon, and with one hit, blasted the marastruck into oblivion.

With all their willpower and adrenaline leaving their body, MC collapsed onto the ground panting and crying.

“Is everyone alright?” MC asked, voice cracking in between sobs as they looked towards the equally exhausted group behind them.

Weak ‘all rights’ and thumbs ups were thrown their way.

It took a while for everyone to recover fully. Thankfully, nearby guards had been notified and they rushed to aid everyone. A few days had passed and Jing Yuan had come aboard the express to check in with everyone else.

“Say how did you avoid the power of that abnormal marastruck?” Ying Yuan asked.

“Oh, I didn’t…” MC chuckled anxiously, getting embarrassed from the revealment.

“HUH?! So you powered through it?” March 7th asked with a bewildered expression her face.

“…yes?” MC asked timidly, folding into themselves.

“Please don’t do that again. You could have seriously injured yourself.” Sighing Welt said.

“Forget that! You have to come trailblazing with us again!” March 7th exclaimed.

“Agreed,” Trailblazer spoke, the same excitement on their face.

“No way, that was too much excitement and chaos for one lifetime.” MC spoke, abhorrently denying their further agreement.

“I have to agree to that statement!” PomPom exclaimed, “Who else would help around the express if not MC. We have enough trouble makers as is! You leave my best helper alone!”

Laughing and enjoying everyone’s company, MC looked out of the windows in the parlour car.

“So how did you deal with all of those emotions?” Dan Heng asked.

“Oh I have my ways…” MC replied, a small smile on their face.

As the days passed and the event was slowly going to the backs of everyone’s minds, MC still made sure to check in on everyone. Making Himeko her morning coffee extra warm and comforting, assisting March 7th with getting more secret photos, going on walks with Welt, just enjoying each other’s companies. All of these things carried on just in case someone needed the extra reassurance that everything was fine.

Will we get less content if we ask for more characters? What about nsfw stuff? Will you cover that at all? If you will, are there any rules or preferences you have for writing that? I have a few rules! As for what I will and won't write, I don't do underage characters unless it's specified platonic or a sibling/friend thing. And no there isn't a limit, nor will it effect the quantity of the post.

As for nsfw I'm fine with most things just not too over the top and wierd subjects.
