genre: mainly fluff and a little smut,, just a tad bit though if you squint hard enough you can see the smut.

I quickened my pace as the clouds began to gather in the sky. The once bright and blue sky was darkening to a gravel grey as thunder roared across the sky and i picked up my pace.

The first splatter of rain hit me which caused me to give a deep exasperated sigh.

The rain began to get heavier and heavier with every second which gave me struggles of looking straight ahead, as a result of the rain pelting against my eyes. I folded my arms close to me, trying to stay as warm as possible.

I was listening to the pattern of the rain and the places it landed. It heavily hit on the roofs of buildings and the roofs of cars danced with spray. I focused my hearing on how my shoes come in contact with the concrete and the splashing sound my foot made when i stepped in a puddle to distract me from the current situation.

My concentration was broken when an all too familiar car pulled up besides, I looked over to the car which slowed down completely and the windows rolled down revealing my boyfriend Jaehyun of almost a year now.

“Wow, so not only do you like the rain, but you even love walking in it? You’re insane babe,” he spoke to me jokingly which caused him to get a deadpan look from me.

“Are you going to offer me a ride, or just going to mock me?” I told him, “And, yes I do like the rain. But only when i’m inside, where it’s warm.” His cocky facial expression went away for a split second and turned into a face of disbelief at my snarky remark.

“I guess I can give you a ride” I smiled at him and tried to open the door until he spoke again “If only you come back to my place.” he winked at me,

“I really hate you sometimes,” I rolled my eyes and opened the door and sat on the warm seat that was now becoming drenched.

“Sorry about getting your seat wet,” I sent him an apologetic look.

“Its fine,” he told me and his eyes sparkled just a little. “And you actually love me so I don’t know why you would say such a thing,” He dramatically put a hand over his heart.

“You’re such a big baby,” I responded to him while reaching my hand over to pinch his cheeks.

His face turned a light shade of red and he smiled which caused his dimples to show. Before he could say anything else the question of how Jaehyun knew where I was came to mind. Was it a coincidence and he was just in the area or is my boyfriend a stalker?

“Jaehyun, how’d you know where I was and how did you just so happen to be in the same place as me when it started raining?” I asked amusingly as I watch his face turn into a more dark shade of red, which was darker then before.

“Well, I checked the weather today and I knew it was going to rain, so I was just on my way to your house so we could uh cuddle. But then I saw you,” He awkwardly scratched the back of his neck. Jaehyun was never the one to admit that he wanted to cuddle, because he didn’t want to “lower his manly” pride as he would say. But I know that he’s actually the biggest baby and melts on the inside whenever we cuddled on the couch.

“Awe, the little baby wanted to cuddle,” I teasingly cooed at him.

Jaehyun blushed even more and didn’t even acknowledge my teasing instead he just pulled off and started to drive to his place. I rested my head on the window and listened to the sound of the rain draining out the low sound of the radio.

Every now and then I would glance at Jaehyun. I couldn’t help but to notice all his anomalous features., and I couldn’t help but to notice how when he drives, he taps his thumb on the wheel to the beat of the song. The littlest things about him, make him so exquisite in my eyes. It just makes me so happy to have an actual god as my boyfriend.

In my eyes Jaehyun was everything to me.

I smiled at him and looked away.

“Why are you so smiley,” he asked me while looking over at me. He smiled and his dimples were more noticeable. I felt the car stop and looked around. We were in his driveway, I must’ve been deep in thought.

“Answer my question beautiful,” I blushed at his comment.

“Oh, i was just thinking about you and how perfect you are,” I told him with complete honesty. I looked into my lap and fiddled with the cold and damp fabric of my sweater. Even though i’ve been with Jaehyun for a while now, I’m always afraid of his responses when I give him certain praise. It just usually makes him blush and hug me while he puts his head in the crook of my neck just so that I don’t see him blush but I always do. I mean he looks like a tomato, so its hard not to see that. But still, I don’t want to say something that makes him uncomfortable I suppose.

I felt his hands cup my cheek so that I would look at him and my heart skipped a few beats. I always melt at his touch.

“You’re so sweet Y/N, but i’m not the perfect one. The perfect one is right in front of me,” He grinned.

I looked into his eyes as they glanced down to my lips and I felt him lean in. I started to lean in aswell,practically feeling his breath on my lips. His lips brushed against mine, until a bolt of thunder erupted into the sky making us both jump at the sudden sound.

“Maybe we should get inside.” He suggested and I nodded.

We both got out of the car and basically ran to his front door to avoid getting drenched by the rain. With his key Jaehyun unlocked the front door and I walked in before him soon being hit with the warmth of his living room against my cold and wet skin.

The door shut behind me and Jaehyun spoke to me, “Okay, lets go upstairs. You can wear one of my hoodies to get out of those wet clothes.” He took my hand and lead me upstairs. Meanwhile on the inside I was jumping with joy because I love his hoodies and they’re so soft and they smell like him.

Once we reached his room he immediately went to his dressers to get me the hoodie as he promised and some of his sweat pants aswell.

“Here, you can go change in the bathroom if you want,” He said.

“Its fine i’ll just change in here. Just don’t look at me, weirdo,” I teased him once again.

“Okay Y/N,” He laughed before turning the other way.

I quickly stripped out of my wet clothes and put on the clothes Jaehyun gave me. They were of course to baggy, but extremely comfortable.

“I’m done now,” I announced so Jaehyun could turn back around but he was to busy looking out the window.

I sat on the edge of his bed while he focused his attention on the weather outside.

“The weather is getting worse,” He told me before taking a seat next to me.

“Yeah you’re right” I responded followed by a yawn. I usually get tired from the rain,especially from a thunder storm.

i layed across the soft and warm bed and it smelled like him. I felt comfortable here, not just because of his bed, but because of him. He gave me a feeling of safety and coziness.

I layed on my side and tried to keep my eyes open but I was failing horribly. I knew Jaehyun probably wanted me to stay awake and maybe watch a movie with him since the weather is a perfect reason just to stay inside and watch a movie while cuddling.

“If you want to sleep you can,” He soothingly told me.

“Are you sure? I just don’t wan-“ My sentence was cut off by him snuggling behind me and resting his head in the crook of my neck. I stopped breathing for a split second at the sudden action.

“I said you can,” He softly whispered into my ear.

“Turn around and look at me baby,” He demanded and I listened.

My eyes came into contact with his, and once again his lips were merely touching mine. If I were to lean in a little closer our lips would be touching,reigniting the feeling i’ve been longing for a while, which was his lips against mine.

“I want you,” He spoke against my lips

“You can have me then,” I spoke in a low tone.

His soft lips came into contact with mine. I felt his hand slide down to my lower back.

Our lips moved in sync as I felt the kiss deepen with every second passing. His hands started moving lower until it was on my butt as he lightly squeezed it which caused me to quietly moan, I felt him smile into the kiss. My hands caressed his soft brown hair. He laid me onto my back so that he was now on top of me, not breaking the kiss. He bit onto my bottom lip before removing his lips from mine. I whimpered at the detachment of his warm lips against mine, the only sounds in the room was our heavy breathing and the rain hitting the window.

He leaned in again and I heard the rain stop.

His lips smashed into mine once again as he ran his tongue over my lips. He started kissing my face and made his way up to my ear.

“Your lips are like wine and I want to get drunk” he huskily whispered into my ear. Just those few simples words made me shudder under him.

He kissed along my jawline before making his way down to my neck, as he started to suck my bare skin and I instantly moaned at the sensation of his soft lips sucking away at my neck.

His lips found mine again and once again we were kissing, but this one was much more soft and passionate. He pulled away and we locked eyes,

“Rainy days with you are best,” He soothed before laying besides me, and wrapping an arm around my waist. He started to leave lazy kisses along my cheeks and jawline.

“I love you Y/N,” He whispered.

I smiled to myself. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else, with anyone else in this moment.

“I love you too Jaehyun.”
