Ive Said This Before But I Would Love To Arrive At A Point Where Its No Longer Standard To Saywere Just
I’ve said this before but I would love to arrive at a point where it’s no longer standard to say “we’re just friends.”
The fact that you could be friends with someone for a decade…
share laughs and secrets and fight and hurt each other and forgive each other and defend each other and grow and change together and just see each other and understand each other in a way maybe nobody else can…
The fact that it’s possible to share that kind of bond with someone only to have it be reduced to
“Just friends” …?
Sure, not all friendships are profound or even long lived, but damn.
I think we’re doing the whole concept of friendship a disservice with that.

I completely get your point and you should say it !
But also, I feel like adding ‘x black reader’ to our fics makes it way easier for us to find content that caters to us.
Because, like this ‘bts x black reader’ tag, it really help us go straight to what we want and what is made FOR us ; instead of having to go through hundred of fics trying to find the one with the lesser ‘white porcelain skin’ description scattered all over the story and project ourselves onto it when it’s clearly not made for us.
Yes we should NOT have to put this much effort, but it’s necessary that we make it easier for ourselves to access and enjoy the content made by us for us that we deserve.
i don't usually say my own shit here but food for thought:
I personally feel like it's excessive (hear me out) to have to put "x black!reader" or "x desi!reader" in all of our titles ya know? it's lika lil' setting we have to select, where on the top of that list is the default y/n, a white chick with long silky hair and ion like that. because seriously, notice how all fics that have a white reader, who's written in such a way that she's not neutral at all, are simply titled " x reader". maybe i'm just sensitive, but to me it seems like an indirect implication that all of us should look like what they're describing. or to rephrase, only people who are skinny and white should be imagined in such scenarios. and this is not to attack those who write like that typa stuff. i'm just saying that if y'all ain't putting "x white!reader" in your titles then pocs shouldn't have to as well... (jesus christ i sound mad but i'm just letting my brain cells take the mic here)
goodnight
You’re allowed the type of relationship that would make you happy.
can we normalize casual romance? why does a casual relationship have to refer to “just sex”? can we normalize people having romantic flings that don’t necessarily have anything to do with sex without it being seen as cold-hearted or shit? why does romance have to be serious? why should having a relationship for fun mean its based around sex?
Jungkook from BTS is asexual - confirmed!!
I think that’s so cute!! <3

(not tryna out him in any way btw, this is just for fun and it’s bringing me comfort!!)
i’m proud of you and i appreciate you and i’m here to support you and it’ll pass
