Here's something from my Sunny Mage universe:
“There it is. Is it everything you imagined?” It was better. The castle rested on a floating slice of jagged rock. It had a multitude of towers, all with sharp points closing in at their peaks. From Sunny’s spot, the walls looked red. However, she wasn’t sure if that was the natural hue of the stone, or if it was an optical illusion from the blood moon painting everything red. Time would tell, she supposed. And when the time came, she could only hope for the opportunity to bask in the view from one of those lit-up windows.
I'll tag: @jamieanovels @dorthes @ryns-ramblings @harinawa @spuddlespud @late-to-the-fandom @daisyannewrites @awordchemist @the-finch-address and anyone else is welcome. Open tag.

Harmony Eaglewood (one of my OC's)
I just realized something about her.
She's in the prime position to be the "pack leader" of the school; she comes from a prestigious family, has great magical ability, and has all the boys falling at her feet. But she's so wrapped up in making her family proud and upholding their legacy that she sort of skips over that High School drama phase.
So when the kids gang up on Sunny and tease her, Harmony is standing off to the side thinking about how she was placed in class Diamond (the best of the best) but is still going to have to deal with her overbearing mom who won't congratulate her for doing what was already expected of her. If anything, Harmony just obtained the bare minimum.
My authorial intent is to tell a cool and exciting story.
If my cool and exciting story makes you want to abandon your morals and commit evil acts, that's your problem, not mine.
Hello friends it's been a while since I posted something ~ original ~ so have this rant writing i made in the midst of an existential crisis. Valeria POV btw.
The fragmented mirror shows her what she already knows. Broken pieces of herself scattered in a seemingly-tidy frame. A neat wrapping for her broken little pieces she can’t pick up and fix. What is the purpose of fixing such a broken mirror? It will never be the same again. It won’t show the same clear reflection again even if it was fixed. It’s permanently broken and it will never live up to its true purpose.
The tiara on her head feels heavier than ever. It’s a beautiful piece of jewelry, made to be lightweight and dainty, but right now it carries the weight of the world. She isn’t strong enough to carry the world or to carry the weight of the blood spilled by and on it. The beauty of it mocks her as she looks into the broken mirror. Nothing she does will ever justify her crown, her position, or the amount of respect she has simply by existing. Nothing about it was ever fair.
Magic swirls in her body, as warm as ever. It pulses inside her, ready to take on her command. Its loyalty is unwarranted, after everything. She gave it away, why would it still obey her? Why would it still warm her body? Why would it still heal her wounds? She will be the first to admit that she is nothing without her magic. It sticks to her blood, warm and steady and loyal, but she doesn’t deserve anything like that. Nothing she does will ever be enough to repay the things her magic has done for her. It’d kill and die for her, and she doesn’t deserve that kind of devotion from anyone or anything as strong as what’s in her blood.
Light gray eyes stare back at her, remorseful and confused. What is she, beyond a vessel for expectations and hopes of everyone around her? Is she nothing else beyond that? Does she have any greater purpose other than serving her kingdom?
It’s hard to say.
Perhaps it’s better to keep that thought to herself for now.

I'll do my main character, Sunny, for this one.
5 words to physically describe your oc
Powerhouse who needs a hug
who inspired your oc?
Characters I grew up watching like Marceline (from Adventure Time) and Catra. The kind of characters who have these dark backstories and latent trauma that makes things difficult for them. I like seeing where their story takes them when they finally have the strength to address their past.
give me a song to define your oc
Lonely Go! by Brian the Sun
if i met your oc on the street how would they greet me?
If you're close friends with her she'd tackle you into a hug. If you're a stranger, she'll show you the magic she's learning or vent about her day.
can your oc be your best friend? why?
No way. As an introvert, I've already been adopted by enough extroverts.
1 adjective and 1 noun to describe your oc
The bubbly mage
