Codywan Week Day 6: Tea And Caf And Filmiswork
Codywan Week Day 6: Tea and Caf and Filmiswork
Summary: Obi-wan is doing paperwork and Cody wants him to take care of himself
"You have been up all night" Cody began.
"I know but I'm almost done."
"Can I help?"
"No. You should go to bed, it's late."
Cody sighed. Of course he would say that. He turned and walked away.
In the kitchen he grabbed two cups. One for tea and one for caf. He went and grabbed a blanket as the water was boiling in the caf machine is doing as it should.
He grabbed one of the cups and poured the water into it, then placed a tea bag and some sugar in it. Afterwards Cody grabbed the coffee and put it in his own cup.
Walking back into the room Obi-wan occupied, he placed the tea down on the desk. "I thought you might like some."
Obi-wan smiled. He turned to face Cody. The clone bent down and kissed him. Then took a sip of his coffee.
Shortly after Cody took some of the filmiswork for himself. He sat on the ground next to Obi-wan and started to work on it.
The Jedi was glad that Cody had come to help him but he would have been fine with just him company. Everything was better when he was in Cody's company.
The clone placed one hand on the other's thigh and continued to work on the filmiswork. Obi-wan's heart skipped a beat and he placed his own hand on Cody's. Filmiswork sucked but maybe this wouldn't be so bad.

Whumptober Day 7: Rodio Silent/"Can You Hear Me?"
Fandom: Spider-verse
Warning: In the tags for story reasons
Summary: Jefferson gave Spider-Man a radio in case he might need to reach out, hoping he never had to. Miles was glad he had it.
When Jefferson learned that Spiderman was a young teenager he decided to give him a radio. He wanted to make sure that he was safe. If he needed nothing or god forbid the boy ended up injured while fighting a villain, it seemed to bring both of them comfort that knowing he could reach out.
It was a beautiful day. There wasn't a cloud in the sky. The sun shined over the city. It was reality calm until a villain decided to break that fragile peace.
Miles had been taking a science test when his teacher got a phone call. He stealthy took his phone out and looked at the news. It was time for him to go.
He walked up to his teacher's desk and asked to use the bathroom. She nodded. As he got close to the window in the boy's bathroom he heard the announcement that the school was going into lockdown due to a villain attack.
Spider-Man jumped from the window and headed to the scene. He webbed his radio to his leg. It was smaller than average policy radios, maybe the size of a child's walky talky. It helped Miles to know that if he really needed it he could reach out to someone.
The villain of the week called himself 'Pit Viper'. He was dressed in a green suit that had a scale pattern everywhere. His hair was black and his eyes seemed to be some shade of blue. He wore a black face mask that went down to his neck. He had a sword and a holster for a dagger.
"Plan to get stabby?" Spiderman asked when he arrived .
When the fight started, everything seemed fine. Every fight had its dangers. That was something Miles had expected already. As soon as he pulled the sword out of Viper's hand he felt that he had made a mistake.
As the clouds started to take over the sky, it started to seem like Spiderman would lose. But every time he got knocked down, he got back up.
Pit Viper unsheathed his dagger. He pulled a small vile from his pocket and slid the bottom of the knife open. He put the mystery vile in the handle. He closed it and smiled.
"Whatcha got there?" Miles said as he went to attack once again.
"You'll find out soon enough." Not long after, Miles got struck by the knife. It wasn't a large wound, just a small gash on his arm. Sure it hurt but it wasn't anything that would stop him.
Then he started to feel nauseous. As he webbed down the villain, the man started to laugh violently. "You might have taken me down, but it seems that you will fall tonight."
Spiderman grabbed his radio and informed the police that he had caught the villain. He stumbled off towards school. He didn't make it that far before he landed in an alley.
Miles fought to get his mask off before he threw up. He put one hand on the brick wall in front of him and the other on his stomach. His breathing sped up as he walked a little further in the alley, away from the sight of the city. He threw up again and slid down the wall, tearing his suit and skin.
The world felt like it was spinning. Miles fought through the fog and grabbed for his radio. His body felt like it was on fire and his head was heavy. He pulled the radio to his mouth and spoke into it. "Mr. Morales, are you there?" He asked.
"What can I do for you Spiderman?" He asked.
"I think-" Miles rested his head on the wall behind him. "I think I'm dying."
Jefferson looked over at his partner. "Where are you son?" Concern laced his words.
The hero stuttered out the street number.
"We're nearby" his partner said. "He's young, maybe you can keep him calm?"
Jefferson called for an ambulance over the radio then spoke to Spiderman again. "Help is on the way. I'm on the way. Just hold."
"I'll try" Miles said, shacking. He listened to his father talk to him and answered the best he could.
"What happened?"
"Viper." He shuttered and tried to pull his legs to his chest.
"How are you feeling? What's happening?"
"Like shit."
"Language."
"Sorry." Miles's voice shook and it sounded like he was on the verge of tears.
"It's okay. Just hang in there." Jefferson sighed. He put his head in his hand.
"I'm scared" he whispered. He leaned over to his side and threw up again. Tears started to fall from his eyes. He was in pain.
"It's going to be okay."
The world started to get blurry. "I'm sorry" he choked out. He threw up again. Miles tried to stand. He moved slightly to the side. His knees fell and he couldn't support his hands anymore.
"You don't need to apologize. Do you know what Viper did?" There was no response. "Spiderman?"
Fear struck into Jefferson's heart. He couldn't shake the feeling that everything was going to change. "Spiderman are you there?"
The radio rested in Miles's lap. He listened to his father talk but couldn't do anything to respond.
"Can you hear me?" Panic slipped into his voice like hot tea slides down your throat. "Son, can you hear me?"
Miles fought to answer. Yet the radio remained silent. He couldn't force himself to get up this time.
"Spiderman, we'll be there soon. Just hang on." The silents made the air thick and time slow down. It felt like he was moving though quicksand. Jefferson wasn't sure why he felt the way he did. He worked closely with the hero but it almost felt like his own family was in danger.
Silence fell over the car.
Miles thought he could hear sirens. He felt like he couldn't breathe. The sounds of the city started to disappear, the wall in front of him looked foggy, and his body felt strange.
As soon as the car stopped Jefferson was out on the sidewalk. The ambulance hadn't arrived yet. "Wait here" he yelled to his partner.
As the man entered the alley he could smell the horrible smell of vomit. He walked passed it and found the hero leaned against the wall. He ran over to him.
"Can you hear me?" Jefferson looked at the hero's face. "Miles" he said breathlessly.
Miles tried to give him a smile.
"It's going to be okay Miles."
The teen started to fade in and out of consciousness. He thought about his life for a moment.
"Stay with me Miles!" He felt his father's hand cuff his face gently. "Miles? Can you hear me? Please say something!" He felt the hand move and an arm around his body. He listened to his father cry. "Please."
"You did good kid. Come on, your uncle wants to see you." Miles looked up to see Peter Parker looking at him. Not Peter B Parker but Peter Parker.
"Wait but-"
"They'll be okay."
"Okay."
Soultember Prompt 3: First Words
Fandom: The Bad Batch
Summary: The first words your soulmate will ever tell you is tattooed somewhere on your body. Tech and Phee are about to meet for the first time.
The concepts of soulmates always fascinated Tech. How could the universe know exactly who you would fall in love with or be extremely close to. The fact that someone could be distended to meet, that destiny it's self existed, was quite intriguing.
He analyzed his words closely. "Hey now, got a name brown eyes?" Clearly their speech patter now informal. He'd have to correct that. The nickname brown eyes was quite strange. All clones had brown eyes. Well most.
The writing rested on the inner part of his wrist. Tech liked looking at the tattoo. If fate existed then he had to at least live long enough to meet them.
Phee questioned hers. 'A clone?' she wondered. It wasn't until the war that she knew she'd have to find him out of thousands of thousands of men. At least she'd have a big extended family.
After the war, Tech knew he'd find them because of the missions they would go on for Cid. Well he didn't know but it just right.
"Hey now got a name, brown eyes?"
"Tech, However the phenotypic eye color for all clones is brown."
Something felt familiar about the words.
"Brown eyes?" Tech repeated.
"Tech?"
Wrecker shook Tech out of excitement. "Tech! You found her!"
"Yes, I did."
Phee smiled, "well it's nice to meet you, soulmate."
"It is nice to meet you as well. Can we get on with the meeting?"
"Tech, this is a big deal. The meeting can wait just a minute."
"I do not know Phee. Our relationship should grow as we talk."
Echo got ready to do damage control. Then Phee spoke, "I think that would be great."
Hunter smiled softly. He knew this would go well. Maybe not in his head but in his heart.
"I have questions to ask later on the statistics of your tattoo as well as your thoughts." Tech said l.
"I can't wait, Tech." Phee smiled. Then meeting continued.
Codywan Week Day 7: Dancing
Summary: A few Jedi and Clones are invited to a senator ball to thank them for their war efforts.
The Senate ball was an annual for the Senate. However this year was different. The senators had decided to invite their most successful generals to show their appreciation. The Jedi could bring their commanders if they wished to.
Of course Anakin brought Ashoka along and Obi-wan brought Cody. Though Cody has never been to a fancy ball he knew Obi-wan would know what to do and he would get to spend time with his lover.
Obi-wan had grabbed one of his nicer sets of robes and Padma found Cody something nice to wear. The two showed up to the ball right on time and mingled with the senators for a little while.
Anakin and Padma stayed near each other the whole time while Ashoka and Rex rommed the dance floor. Neither could dance so they made it up as they went. Even if most of the music was classical music, they danced as if it was a high school party.
Obi-wan watched them, glad they where having great time and relieved the senators didn't mind. He watched Anakin and Padma get to close to each other and he watched as Cody tried to get used to the fancy chandelier and elegant dresses.
So badly Cody wanted to grab Obi-wan and take him to the dance floor or to take him for a walk in the garden they had passed as the walked up the stairs to the entrance. He reframed because 'what would the people think?'
As the night went on Obi-wan whished for the same thing. The ballroom was starting to get stuffy and overwhelming. He couldn't imagine how Cody felt sense this was his first big fancy event.
Obi-wan looked over at his commander and desired to leave this ball full of people who they couldn't be themselves around. He walked over to Cody and spoke to him. "Can we take a walk?" He said.
Cody felt his checks flush just a little. All night he had been waiting to Obi-wan to say something like that. "Of course." He took his generals and guided him to the back door that should lead to a large garden based off of the layout they had been given before.
The door opened silently and the two escaped out in the garden. The laughed a little as they walked around. Obi-wan grabbed Cody's hand once he deemed it to be safe.
They walked around the colorful flowers, lit up by moon light. Obi-wan filled Cody's head with the useless knowledge of what each of them were. The looked at the constellations, Cody knowing more of them then Obi-wan had expected.
The two lovers walked back towards the building. They stopped at the entrance of the garden, unsure if they really wanted to go back in. Inside the music slowed.
Obi-wan felt Cody grab his hands. The commander pulled them to his shoulder and waist Then he placed his own hands on the other and pulled him closer. "Can I have this dance?" He whispered.
A chill went up Obi-wan's spine. Everything felt so perfect. For a moment everything was okay. The vine arch above them created spotlights and the general breeze brought the sweet smell of the flowers to them. He smiled, "of course you can."
Slowly the two stepped together and swayed to the music. Obi-wan leaned into his chest and let his worry of slip away.
Near the end of the song Cody twirled Obi-Wan and he dipped him. Their faces were so close and without any hesitation they kissed.
They giggled and moved. Cody walked over to the entrance and picked a rose. He handed it to Obi-wan, "we should head back inside."
"We should." Obi-wan grabbed Cody's hand, "I had a good night." He leaned into him as they walked, only separating at the door.
"Me too."

AI-less Whumptober Day 3: Sensory Deprivation/Isolation
Fandom: The Dragon Prince
Summary: What if Viren hadn't told anyone where Gren was? What if he had just been left to die? (Fun fact at the end)
Warning: Broken bones and self injuries
Gren hated the dungeon. His arms were tired of being upright and he could swear his hands were ice cold. He began to hate the taste of bread, even though he had liked it a lot before, as it was all he was ever given. Water had never been something he was so relieved to have.
It was lonely. Very lonely. Gren tried to talk to the Moonshadow elf that had been placed in the dungeon. Even though he only answered once, the commander called it a win.
Every time Viren came down the stairwell Gren wondered if he would be released. He knew that there was nothing he had done to be placed in the dungeon. His treatment has been unjust and when he was free he would make sure that the dark mage didn't go unpunished for his actions.
The worst part was the silence. The Moonshadow elf wasn't good company. He never spoke. Viren was the one who locked him down there. He hardly spoke to him as well.
Gren heard nothing from the room further in the dungeon. With all the screaming from before the commander assumed that the mage had killed him.
Now he was alone. It had been a while since Viren had come down the stairs. Gren didn't know if it had been days or just a few hours.
Eventually he started to talk to himself to fill the void. He had been isolated from everything with no way to escape.
After a while Gren's optimism couldn't help him. He was hungry and tired and scared; scared of dying alone. He missed the touch of another human being.
His skin crawled because he hadn't been touched in what felt like an eternity. Gren craved a hug from Amaya or Corvus. It almost physically hurt how much he missed people. He was social and extroverted.
People were his thing. The commander loved the presence of others. He loved talking to them and loved listening more. Now all he could do was talk and listen to himself.
The conversations started silly and short. Then they stopped being silly. They turned into talks about life and death. It turned into him finally saying the things he was too scared to say out loud.
Time was his enemy. Time ticked on as Gren wasted away, praying someone would find him and save him.
Eventually he came to the conclusion no one was coming. There was nothing he could do to help them find him and no way he could escape. He gave up standing and collapsed to the ground, his arms jerking up. He yelled as pain shot though his wrist and arms from the quick movement.
Gren began to breathe quickly. His chest quickly rose and fell as he heaved. He tried to pull his arms to his chest but was stopped by the chains. He screamed in frustration and slammed his fist into the wall behind him.
Then one of his hands slipped out of the cuff. Still panicking he kept pulling in the other one. He looked down to see why his other hand had slipped out.
Gren had already tried to break them back when he was first wrongfully chained up. But it wasn't the metal that had broken. His hand had.
The commander's right hand had been broken when he struck the wall. He looked at his other hand and decided he had to break that on two.
Blood dripped onto the ground from where his hands had cut open. Gren slammed the side of his hand into the wall over and over until he felt his thumb break. He slipped it out and tried to stand.
It took a minute but Gren made it to the stairs. Then he forced his body to stay upright long enough to get get to the door. His legs gave and he fell onto the top step. He leaned against the door and waited for a moment before starting to yell and hit the door.
"Help!" He screamed. No awesome. "Please" he whimpered.
"Is someone there?"
A voice. "yes! Please help!"
"I'll be right back! Just hold on!"
Gren smiled for the first time in a while. He was safe. When the door was opened Gren saw his saviors. A woman he didn't recognize stood before him. Behind her was the familiar face of Corvus. Near the door the interpreter could see Ezren. He sighed knowing he was safe.
Corvus moved to help Gren up. As soon as it was possible Gren grabbed the other and pulled him into a hug. It had been too long. He held him and cried. He didn't care about his hands all he wanted was to be around people. It was nice being warm again.
"Are you okay?" Ezren said as he walked over to him.
"I am now."
Note: Did you know that it actually is possible to dislocate your thumb in a way that can get you out of handcuffs/chains? The lower joint in your thumb is what needs to be dislocated. It's kinda neat.
