Ok, Arthur really needs a hug right now. (But as usual, Guen is not obligated to give him one.)

I had a bit of writer’s block last week, but it seems to be gone now, especially as I’m coming up on a segment that I’ve been looking forward to writing for literally years. If you’re an Arthur fan, you’ll probably know it when you see it.

Also, I would like to live on a space whale. Please can I live on a space whale with my space son and our space wolf.

(It’s possible that a space whale cured my writer’s block.)

good news life update:

1. After months of negotiation, I did get 1/5 of my workload transferred to another person, effective Feb. 1st. That’s going to make a huge difference in my stress levels, mental energy, and available time! (edit: also, that person is part-time and going to get paid for more hours because of this, so everyone’s happy)

2. My dog’s health has bounced back beyond all expectations. We’ve been giving him fluid injections at home every day for the past month, and it drastically reduced his blood toxin levels. Kidneys can’t heal, so this is only a temporary fix, but he is obviously feeling a ton better.

Not sure what this will mean as far as writing goes, but if doggo is still stable after Feb. 1st, maybe I can try to get something done?

also I put my to-do list for finishing Book II on the word count page
