thirty one - just you and me

sometimes, life doesn’t go as planned. you can have all lists in the world that tells you what you’re supposed to do in life, that doesn’t mean that life won’t change. schedules won’t work as they did and your sleep may slowly but surely not be something you look forward to.

lee heeseung ruined your schedule, and for the first time you liked some change in routine. you loved being around him every day, hugging him, kissing him, talking to him. everything that you two did together made everything worth it, but of course, he started to not be as warm-hearted.

there are people who change for the worse in a relationship, they become toxic, and even though that may not be the case with heeseung, it still hurts. he hasn’t hugged you for so long and you haven’t heard his voice for days.

this is also why you, hours ago, were standing outside his house, waiting for the door to open after your three knocks. your heart wasn’t beating at its normal pace, it was beating faster for every second that passed by and it felt like it stopped when the door opened.

“y/n! we haven’t seen you for so long! welcome in, welcome in,” his mom pulled you in for a warm hug as soon as she saw you. the hug made tears form in your eyes, but you tried to think them away and instead walked inside the house.

“hi, i was just looking for heeseung, is he home?” you loved his mom, of course you did and you could talk to her for long if you wanted to, but you had to speak to heeseung.

“i think he’s in his room, been there for days now. he will be happy to see you,” you smiled at her and took off your shoes before walking to heeseung’s room.

the door wasn’t locked and if you knocked, he wouldn’t have let you in, so instead you just opened the door slowly as your heart was beating out of your chest. that’s also when you were met with a sight you didn’t expect.

there he was, on the floor, curled into a ball with his chin leaning on his knees as he was uncontrollably sobbing. his entire body was shaking and his face was filled with tears, something you would never have expected.

“leave,” he stuttered out but you knew that you couldn’t leave him like this. he looked so small where he sat, he didn’t look like he usually did when the two of you would be together. his face was pale and his lips had been bleeding earlier, probably from biting them.

“you know i can’t leave you now,” you mumbled as you walked towards him. he tried to push you away when you sat down in front of him but you didn’t move an inch. he now tried to hide his face because of all the tears coming out, you didn’t know why he was crying this much, but you knew that your heart was breaking by seeing him like this.

so instead of just sitting there, you wrapped your arms around him. he was shaking in your arms but you tried your best to calm him down by rocking the two of you back and forth while also playing with his messy hair.

his face was hidden in the crook of your neck and he held onto you tightly, continually grabbing fistfuls of your sweatshirt to keep you close to him. “it’s okay, take some deep breaths for me, okay?” you asked and he nodded his head. his breaths fanned against your shoulder as he took some deep breaths but you only kept trying to help him. “wanna tell me what’s wrong?”

heeseung pulled away a little so you could take a look at him. his eyes were red because of all the crying and his cheeks were completely wet, so you tried to wipe all the tears away with your thumbs while waiting for an answer.

“i’m really sorry y/n. i’m so sorry for hurting you like i did and i know that it has happened before and i hate myself for that and i can’t blame you for it at all. i’m sorry for lying to you, but i have actually been pretty busy. i really don’t want to lose you y/n,” he told you, his voice still shaky but not too much.

“hee,” you whispered, still wiping his tears away but he shook his head as to tell you that he wanted to say some more things.

“i shouldn’t have ignored you, i shouldn’t have been so cold and sunghoon made me realize how stupid i’ve been, but i have so much to learn and i’m sorry for taking so much out on you. i know that i should know better, but i’ll be honest and say that i really didn’t know better. and i’m really sorry-“

“hee, i get it and i forgive you. what i don’t understand is why you’ve been acting this way, it can’t just come out of nowhere.”

“i didn’t want you to expect anything,” heeseung said as he took a paper from the floor and gave it to you. “i have been busy writing this and i thought that you would suspect something if i was too clingy on you. but what i did was really shitty and if i could to it over again i would change what i did.”

“am i allowed to read this?” you asked and the boy in front of you nodded his head. his arms stayed wrapped around you while you quietly read his long letter.

that’s also when tears began to form in your eyes again but this time you allowed them to slip down your cheeks. heeseung comfortably rubbed your back until you threw your arms around him and began to cry into his chest.

“no, please don’t cry,” he tried to tell you while stroking your back and this time you were the one who couldn’t stop crying. you pulled him close as he pressed kisses on top of your head. “i had planned on doing something more romantic and then ask you to be my girlfriend but i didn’t really have time for that now that you came,” he chuckled, looking much happier when you looked up at him.

“you want me to be your girlfriend?”

“yes, but if i’ve fucked it up, that’s okay-“

“no, i want to be your girlfriend hee. just don’t do this again, ryujin will probably come over and slap you again,” your giggles filled the room and heeseung rolled his eyes but still smiled.

“so, you’re my girlfriend now,” he said and you nodded your head eagerly before he crashed his lips with yours in a soft kiss. it wasn’t a long one but he pressed kisses all over your face afterwards.

“your cheek is still bruised,” you then pointed out, your lips found his cheek and you then began to leave kisses all over it. “i’m really sorry about that.”

“i deserved it, so don’t worry. i’ll just tell everyone that i was in a fight to seem cool,” he told you with a giant smile all over his face. “i love you y/n.”

“i love you too heeseung.”

you didn’t let go off each other after this and well, heeseung actually did do better after this event. but what was said in that letter? you’ll find out.

hi, i don’t know how to write letters and i’ve tried to rewrite this for days now but i hope this isn’t too shitty. i don’t know if you’ll ever get this letter because i’m an idiot but if you do get this, hi.

i don’t know why i had never noticed you before, but i’m happy that i finally did when i saw you at the cafe, i fell in love with you immediately, that’s not a lie i promise. i couldn’t stop talking about you and sunghoon was probably ready to fight me right there and then.

i also remember our first kiss very well, and the fact that i ran out of there makes me want to punch myself in the face. but i promise that our first kiss felt amazing, at least while we were kissing because i don’t know what was going on in my mind when i ran off. still very sorry about that.

you make me too nervous, i swear to god i don’t think i’ve ever been calm around you because no matter what we do, you always make me nervous and i don’t get how you do it. it also makes me very happy to know that you like me because i would never expect that. it also makes me very happy to walk around with you in school hand in hand to show everyone that we’re together even though we aren’t boyfriend and girlfriend yet. but if it all goes well i hope you’ll be my girlfriend after reading this letter.

i’m not very good at telling you how i feel, but i honestly love you so much, like a lot more than you could ever think. my worst fear is losing you, i don’t know what i would do if i did lose you because you’re the biggest comfort in my entire life and i hope that i’m a comfort to you too. i really want to make you happy, and i know that i still doubt myself a lot but i want to be good for you.

i want to make you as happy as you make me, i want to look after you as good as you look after me. you’re also too nice to me, i think you should know that because i could do whatever and you’d forgive me, stop with that because i make mistakes too!!!

i want to write so much more but i think it’s better to tell you all those things one day in the future, i also have cramp in my hand right now. but thank you for being the best person on this earth and for being who you are, because i love you for that.

thank you for making me feel safe. every time you’ve wanted to cheer me up you really have succeeded, you have some type of effect on me that i can’t really explain. every time i’m around you i’m just immediately happy because all those people around us just disappear, when i’m with you it’s just you and me.

Dilf!Deku x Babysitter!reader

A/n: This was supposed to be a quick hc... but I might've gotten kinda carried away

Okay, but Dilf!Deku who sees you babysitting at the pool and is completely in awe of you. Like he can barely take his eyes off you, but he can’t even seem to work up the courage to do more than give you that awkward smile.

Dilf!Deku who is beyond grateful when his sons beg him to come play Marco Polo with them and the kids you’re babysitting. He can hear them making deals with you across the pool- something like ‘I promise I’ll eat all of my vegetables tonight if you’re it first!’ And he quickly agrees to play, hoping you’ll do the same- which you do.

And being the sweetheart he is, Deku saves you from having to be it by volunteering. The sweet, grateful smile you shoot him before he closes his eyes and starts counting is now permanently ingrained in his brain. He becomes so busy trying to think of other ways to smile that he forgets what number he was supposed to be counting to– it was only supposed to be 10, but he’s somewhere in the 20s before his sons end up splashing him.

He can hear your voice clearly– knows exactly where you are. And yet he saves you for last just so he has an excuse to keep his hands wrapped around your waist a second longer than necessary. Your skin is so soft beneath his hero work-hardened hands.

Dilf!Deku who gets all blushy and suddenly forgets how words work as your hands smoothly over his shoulders. You slip behind him, using him as a shield from the children. He’s too busy thinking of how your touch leaves his skin burning that he doesn’t even consider you might use him as a sacrifice.

And when you two finally have a moment alone, the first words he can muster are, “you have beautiful kids.” He thinks he’s slick, but you notice the way his eyes devour you as he says it. And as much as you may want to take the compliment, you tell him they’re not yours- which he just takes as you meaning they’re adopted. “Oh, you’re really good with them- how long have you had them?”

Dilf!Deku who absolutely loses his shit when you tell him your a babysitter– immediately asking to babysit for him. And immediately apologizing for asking because he doesn’t want you thinking that’s the only reason he’s talking to you. But when you agree, he starts apologizing for the dopey look on his face.

Dilf!Deku who has no doubt in his mind that you and the boys will get along but still can’t stop his heart from going into overdrive when he comes home and see the three of you asleep in a fort in the living room.

Dilf!Deku can’t deny how much he loves your company, so he makes excuses for you to stay later. He’ll even try asking you to babysit on his days off because ‘the boys miss you tons.’ And don’t get me started on the bouquet of flowers and home-cooked meals he gives you as apologies for working late. He’s even tried bribing the boys into calling you, mom.

Dilf!Deku who, despite spending nearly all his time outside of work with you for the past two months, still hasn’t mustered the courage to ask you on a date. That is until the annual pro-hero gala comes up, and he’s insistent on having you as his plus one. He spends so much time in the weeks leading up to the gala trying to figure out how to properly ask you to be his. To be part of his family. He’s even asked a few criminals while waiting for authorities to show. All his planning goes out the window when he sees you the night of the gala, and all his feelings just come rushing out his mouth like a busted pipe.

Dilf!Deku who can’t help but show you off at the gala. He knows reporters are just looking for pictures of him, maybe even the two of you together. But that doesn’t stop him from stepping behind you, so you’re the center of attention. And we all know he’s pulling his phone out every five minutes to get pictures of you. With every picture he takes, he can't help but think of how lucky he is.

When your body is pressed against his for a dance, both of you moving so slow, he's embarrassed by the way his mind fills with thoughts of making you the mother of his current and future kids.
