(winter is coming): Wylla Fenn
Wylla Fenn was a member of House Fenn, she was the mother of Lord Brandon Stark’s bastard son Lonnel Snow.

GAME OF THRONES 3.06, The Climb

Unlike their father and mother, Baelon and Alyssa did not wait to consummate their union; the bedding that followed their wedding feast was the source of much ribald humor in the days that followed, for the young bride’s sounds of pleasure could be heard all the way to Duskendale, men said. A shyer maid might have been abashed by that, but Alyssa Targaryen was as bawdy a wench as any barmaid in King’s Landing, as she herself was fond of boasting. “I mounted him and took him for a ride,” she declared the morning after the bedding, “and I mean to do the same tonight. I love to ride.”

Whoever Jon’s mother had been, Ned must have loved her fiercely.

LORDS OF WINTERFELL + THEIR BASTARD SIBING - Rodwell Stark & Lonnel Snow
When the young Brandon Stark was caught abed with a woman named Wylla Fenn, a noblewoman of the Neck, this affair was quickly put down by his eldest brother, Lord Jonnel, and Brandon was quickly married to Alys Karstark. However, the first affair resulted in a bastard boy named Lonnel. But the months after his birth arrived his trueborn son, Rodwell.
Throughout the years, Rodwell and Lonnel (called Lonny), were as close as twins. They say that Rodwell was as wild as winter, but Lonny was as sweet as summer. In those days, Winterfell was full to the brim with Starks and no one paid attention to the pair of wild boys who made home in the Wolfswood as well as the castle. But one by one, the sons of Cregan Stark who ascended one after the other as Lord of Winterfell until finally Brandon Stark took the mantle and Rodwell became heir.
As the boys grew into men, the days of living in the bush were exchanged for lessons in leadership and Rodwell’s marriage to a Manderly girl named Myriame. When their father died, Rodwell became Lord of Winterfell. This tenure was cut short, however, when within just a year of being Lord, Rodwell was set upon by a blackbear during a hunt and died of his injuries. With no children to succeed him, Winterfell passed to their younger brother Beron. Lonny was lost without his twin flame and felt no home in Winterfell without him. He left, either to live in the wild or to his mother’s home in the Neck. Either way, no one heard from him again. They were only nineteen. As young as spring.

ELIA MARTELL WEEK 2021 → day 4: relationships
“I was the oldest,” the prince said, “and yet I am the last. After Mors and Olyvar died in their cradles, I gave up hope of brothers. I was nine when Elia came, a squire in service at Salt Shore. When the raven arrived with word that my mother had been brought to bed a month too soon, I was old enough to understand that meant the child would not live. Even when Lord Gargalen told me that I had a sister, I assured him that she must shortly die. Yet she lived, by the Mother’s mercy. And a year later Oberyn arrived, squalling and kicking. I was a man grown when they were playing in these pools. Yet here I sit, and they are gone.” *** Prince Oberyn rolled, rose, and dusted himself off. He tossed aside the splintered spear and claimed his foe’s greatsword. “If you die before you say her name, ser, I will hunt you through all seven hells,” he promised.

He found himself remembering tales he had first heard as a child at Casterly Rock, of mad Lady Lothston who bathed in tubs of blood and presided over feasts of human flesh within these very walls.

N O R V O S, called Great Norvos by its people, is one of the nine Free Cities. It lies in the interior of Essos, between Pentos and Qohor. Norvos’s three bells govern every aspect of the lives of those in the city. The bells tell the Norvoshi when to rise, sleep, work, rest, when to take arms, when to pray, and when they are permitted to have carnal relations. Each bell has its own distinctive ‘voice’ and name. While it has a council of magisters, its members are chosen by the bearded priests, who speak for their god and wield the true power in the Free City. Once a year, there is a festival in Norvos that features bears dancing down the Sinner’s Steps.

{ ♔ petyr baelish } → sometimes called Littlefinger, was master of coin on King Robert Baratheon’s small council. After the War of the Five Kings, he became Lord Paramount of the Trident, and after his marriage to Lysa Arryn, he became Lord Protector of the Vale. Petyr wears a mockingbird as his personal crest instead of House Baelish’s sigil.

"Gilly, he called me. For the gillyflower."
"That's pretty." He remembered Sansa telling him once that he should say that whenever a lady told him her name. He could not help the girl, but perhaps the courtesy would please her. "Is it Craster who frightens you, Gilly?"
"For the baby, not for me. If it's a girl, that's not so bad, she'll grow a few years and he'll marry her. But Nella says it's to be a boy, and she's had six and knows these things. He gives the boys to the gods. Come the white cold, he does, and of late it comes more often. That's why he started giving them sheep, even though he has a taste for mutton. Only now the sheep's gone too. Next it will be dogs, till . . ." She lowered her eyes and stroked her belly.
ACOK, Jon III
"He's come for the babe," Gilly wept. "He smells him. A babe fresh-born stinks o' life. He's come for the life."
[…] Sam made a whimpery sound. "It's not fair . . ."
"Fair." The raven landed on his shoulder. "Fair, far, fear." It flapped its wings, and screamed along with Gilly. The wights were almost on her. He heard the dark red leaves of the weirwood rustling, whispering to one another in a tongue he did not know. The starlight itself seemed to stir, and all around them the trees groaned and creaked. [...]
"Go," said the bird on his shoulder. "Go, go, go."

Florys the Fox, the cleverest of Garth’s children, who kept three husbands, each ignorant of the existence of the others. (From their sons sprang House Florent, House Ball, and House Peake). Ellyn Ever Sweet, the girl who loved honey so much she sought out the King of the Bees in his vast mountain hive and made a pact with him, to care for his children and his children’s children for all time. She was the first beekeeper, and the mother to House Beesbury. Maris the Maid, the Most Fair, whose beauty was so renowned that fifty lords vied for her hand at the first tourney ever to be held in Westeros. (The victor was the Grey Giant, Argoth Stone-Skin, but Maris wed King Uthor of the High Tower before he could claim her, and Argoth spent the rest of his days raging outside the walls of Oldtown, roaring for his bride.) Rose of Red Lake, a skinchanger, able to transform into a crane at will—a power some say still manifests from time to time in the women of House Crane, her descendants. Rowan Gold-Tree, who was so bereft when her lover left her for a rich rival that she wrapped an apple in her golden hair, planted it upon a hill, and grew a tree whose bark and leaves and fruit were gleaming yellow gold, and to whose daughters the Rowans of Goldengrove trace their roots.

A GAME OF POWERFUL LADIES ♛ Ellyn Reyne
Tywin Lannister’s own father Lord Tytos had once imprisoned an unruly bannerman, Lord Tarbeck. The redoubtable Lady Tarbeck responded by capturing three Lannisters, including young Stafford, whose sister was betrothed to cousin Tywin. “Send back my lord and love, or these three shall answer for any harm that comes him,” she had written to Casterly Rock.
