Most everything influences my work. Working in a used bookstore. Going for walks in the woods and peering at mushrooms. Writing reviews….. Ariel Gordon. Just after I pulled into my parking space I glanced up and saw a lone mushroom growing smack dab in the middle of this tree stump & as I took a moment to watch the dappled sunlight play over this brave wee jewel, I pondered all of the metaphors for life one could draw from it & decided I’d just ponder them in my heart & let you make your own….feel free to share:-). Not sure why this angle, on this bag, was so intriguing…..maybe it’s this icky cold that’s messing with my head, or, perhaps, medications for said cold….suffice it to say, at some point I found this fascinatingly cool enough to take a picture of & now I share it with you…..humor the aged (well I feel about a hundred & five) and infirm;-) lol….Joyeux Vendredi, mes amis!

When you turn 17 on Saturday & really don’t want your picture taken…..apparently, you resort to the “ Cousin It” look…..not the first place my mind would’ve gone, but I think she pulled it off…lol….if you could see under this mass of gorgeous hair, you’d see she’s rather chuffed(the grin would give it away)…..cheeky, this one ;-)…..Bon Jeudi, mes amis!
