I Don't Have The Headcanon Of Akechi Being A Trans Man, Or Trans At All For That Matter, I Simply Don't
I don't have the headcanon of Akechi being a trans man, or trans at all for that matter, I simply don't see him that way. HOWEVER I came across a fic with that headcanon and I just started thinking about how that would've affected his mother.
I mean like, if he was open to her from an early age that he wants to be called a he and have a different name that he's comfortable with and stuff, I don't think she would reject him at all.
I generally think of mamakechi as a very fragile and broken person in need of help who was ultimately kind and wanted the best for her son despite not being able to provide it all.
So I don't think she would reject him or judge him, even if she didn't quite understand the how or why or anything about his identity fully at the time.
Goro would see his mother accept him and caring for him the way she always tried to, yeah. But he would also see her crying more and blaming herself for one more thing— blaming herself at the irrational thought that she couldn't even give birth to her son in the right body, and now he'd have to suffer for that on top of everything else he already has to deal with because of her.
They're truly a tragic family regardless of the lens through which I try to see them, and the trans akechi hc isn't any different in that regard.

I was taking with @sbpstudios and came upon the idea of how Akechi would feel looking in the mirror as he got older. In the event he survived, that is.
I was saying that I wonder how he feels when he looks in the mirror. He’s probably changed some. I wonder if he sees some of his father in his features. I wonder if he hates it.
I figure he’d probably do everything he could to avoid looking anything like his father.
he truly adored you. he really did, you just had the urge to be so perfect and worm in his heart and he had enough of it. how come you're so insecure when you chained him to your fingers? that cant be possible. he needs to stop. but suddenly he cant resist the heat coming to his face. but how can he really stop when you're so beautiful, kind and all that? wait.. did he just go through an entire year adoring you, watching you from afar- no no no.. that cant be possible can it..

In the animal kingdom, typically the male birds are the ones who are super colorful and do complicated mating rituals such as singing, dance, or gift giving to attract a mate. Since Xiao is a bird type illuminated beast, could you do hcs about what kind of dramatic things he would do to seduce the reader? I wanna see his serious self wearing the gaudiest outfit ever while break dancing lmao

Pairings: Xiao x reader
Warnings: GN!reader, courting rituals, tiny bit of angst
Genre/Format: Fluff; Headcannons
Author's Note: I was today years old when I found out that Xiao is a sort of bird-like creature 😶 Anyways yeah! Hope these are to your liking~
Please check my blog title to verify whether requests are closed or not! Thank you!

I cannot picture Xiao ever breakdancing lol. But! I think he would perform some sort of traditional dance to impress a potential partner.
If you recall the end of Ayaka's story quest (I think?) I'm picturing something very similar; albeit a traditional Chinese dance. Something truly breathtaking and emotional.
Xiao has trouble expressing his feelings and emotions, as well as even understanding human emotions in the first place...but he would still try to convey how he feels about you through song and dance.
Reluctantly, the adeptus may even ask his good pal Venti for a bit of help. Maybe the anemo archon would be generous enough to play the flute or lyre while Xiao courts you?
I also think Xiao is the type to want every detail to be perfect. Elaborate, but not entirely over the top.
A specific location where the scenery is gorgeous; the breeze passes through, the moon shines down on his graceful body as it moves and flows to the music, maybe some leaves fall around him? Or perhaps some aromatic petals?
Of course he's going to wear the most beautiful ensemble during his performance as well. Some sort of hanfu, or hanfu-inspired clothing that flows like the wind.
Xiao is also the type to bring you little gifts in an attempt to court you. He is quite perceptive and can pick up on the things that interest you easily.
A bracelet crafted from crystalfly cores and noctilucous jade. A bookmark made of pressed qingxin flowers. A wonderful blend of tea that Xiao created himself (with a bit of help from Zhongli, of course)
I can definitely picture the adeptus flaunting his strength oh so casually in front of/around you.
He's not the type of guy to flex his biceps for you to squeeze (unless you really want to? Then maaaybe he can make an exception...just this once...just for you)
Though he will jump in to 'rescue' you. By this I mean that he will rescue you from a tiny cut while you're cooking. Not even bad enough to need a bandage, just a small knick.
Xiao will appear next to you ready to whisk you off to the hospital or something...you have to firmly decline and remind him that you're not made of glass. 😐
The sweetie means well, he's just overly protective of the person that he desires spending the rest of his life with 💕

Here's the problem with people asking, "Why couldn't Akechi just quit?" First and foremost, he's only powerful in the Metaverse. Shido controls the law. Shido controls the police. Shido has his cleaner. The very moment Akechi signed on with Shido as a fifteen year old, he was trapped, chained, and any moment of rebellion would turn him into a fugitive if he was lucky. Second, even if he quit, who would he turn to back then? He had no allies and started off as a fifteen year old who had probably been booted out of the system (IIRC, you are left to your own devices once you hit 15 in Japan if you don't have an existing guardian). Sure, he could run away and hide in Mementos, but he'd basically be left to hide from the law without any means to protect himself and without any allies to turn to. He could make connections, maybe, but when society had repeatedly crushed his spirit and treated him like shit, he had no reason to believe it'd work. By the time he met Joker, someone who was willing to just be around him, listen, and just let him be at least a little more true to himself, it was too late because he had blood on his hands, was going to have to turn against the Thieves and thus Joker, and it was all a "sacrifice" he would have to make for a plan that was never going to work. A plan made by a broken fifteen year old who had nothing but a false god's "blessings" to give him even a semblance of power in a world where he had been nothing but powerless. And to ignore this aspect of Goro Akechi is to ignore the message the game was trying to convey the entire time. The Phantom Thieves acknowledge his role as a victim- Shido's greatest victim, in fact. They do so without condoning what he did, but also with an understanding that any one of them could have become him. Akechi is a foil to the Thieves in the trust sense, a combination of the individual themes each Phantom Thief represents, stripped of the unity that allowed them each to find power and comradery.
And the greatest tragedy is that the game was rigged against him from the start. He was always chosen to be an agent of chaos by Yaldabaoth, to be alone, angry, and carve a path of destruction. But at one point, he was a traumatized child in a society that condemned him for the circumstances of his birth, which he could not control.

A lot of people just don't take into account that he doesn't know that Loid is a good guy. If I were in his place and found out that my sister, who took care of me since we were children and worked hard enough to come home bleeding and is my only living relative, got married to some random guy a year ago and never even mentioned him by name prior to that, not to mention that I find that out from a third party... I wouldn't trust the husband at all either no matter how perfect he looks.
Like wtf did you do to my sister that she never told me or anyone about you?
I just think that his animosity towards Loid is actually quite logical, and never see enough people taking this into account.
I see so many people shit on Yuri Briar a lot, so lets talk about it
First of all, I just want to say, yes.
The way he acts is weird. Especially toward his sister. I'm not saying his actions are ok, I'm just trying to explain why.
We know (anime + manga) that when Yor was young, she had to take care of Yuri all by herself because both of their parents passed away. Yor is 7 years older than Yuri, and although we have zero clue of how old they both are in the flashbacks or when Yor started her job, I'm going to assume they she was in her early teens since it's a very popular belief.
So based on that, Yuri must have been at least 6 years old when Yor started caring for him. She had to sacrifice everything for him, and basically acted as a mother to him, cooking food, buying things for him, working an intense job, and much more. And that's on top of being an older sister and dealing with her own problems.
It's no wonder Yuri is so attached to her even as they both grew up. Yor is technically both a mother and an older protective sister all in one to Yuri. He has always wanted to grow up to take care of her and to basically repay her for everything she has sacrificed for him. He wants to make the world a better place for HER. This is why he is attached to Yor. Maybe a bit too excessively though.
To Yuri, Yor getting married is kinda the same sort of situation as a child watching their single mother get married to a guy they barely know. It's weird, and of course, they'd be hostile toward that man. It would probably feel as if he's stealing their mother away from them. It is weirder in Yuri's case because we're talking about his sister, but it does make more sense when explained like this.
I also feel like Yuri never really had the chance to grow up/ mature, because he never had a parent/ father figure in his life to teach him how to behave or act.
Anyway, that's basically how I feel about Yuri. Hopefully Endo-sensei can make his character more interesting in later chapters because right now, he's super annoying tbh.
TL;DR: Yuri's actions can be justified because Yor took care of him nearly his whole life and he's super attached to her because of that
