I think finally the Endeavor arc in this fight is starting to make sense to me somewhat. 

It’s been interesting to read his arc and think about what made him into an abuser. The core features of his character, like his ambition, striving for strength, stubbornness are all things other heroes also share and can be good or bad depending on how they are used. 

But I think in Endeavor’s case, what pushes him down the wrong path is his penchant for blaming others and dodging responsibility.

It's so ironic to think about Loid making all these meticulous plans on how to pique Desmond's interest and approach his inner circle without raising suspicion, meanwhile Yor just stumbles in head empty except for the crunchy tea cakes her daughter wants her to buy and sweeps Desmond's wife right of her feet by demonstrating her incredible strenght and agility and without any problem inserts herself in her friend group and their regular get-togethers just by being her normal, genuine self.

Notice in most of the scenes he's in, he's walking behind or towards everyone else

And in the scenes he's missing from, the in frame characters are looking backwards to the camera

Or the perspective is shot from above or at eye level, because he's looking down on Anya or crouching to meet her:

ALSO, if you really want to cry, the song is called "Souvenir" so Loid is literally saving these color-filled memories as souvenirs for when his mission is done and he needs to leave 😢😢😢
