Requested - Yes - anon - Can I request 20 and 31 on the 100 prompt list for Loki?

Prompts - 20 - “I’m pregnant.” 31 -“About the baby… Its yours.”

A week.

That’s how late your period was.

A week.

A part of you was convinced you were pregnant, already you had come up with fifty different scenarios in which you told your ex-boyfriend Loki, more than half ending worse than the other.

Lack of communication and frustration had led to the pair of you splitting up, though that did not mean the two of you weren’t still hopelessly in love with one another.

A week and two days is how long you left it until you caved and bought a pregnancy test on the way back home to your apartment.

A week and four days is how long you left it until you finally took the test.

Pacing was good. It was the only thing you could do as you waited for the timer to beep.

If it said you were pregnant, there was no doubt in your mind you were keeping the baby, whether Loki wanted to or not.

The ringing of the timer cut you from your thoughts. You took a deep breath before picking the test up, a grin caught you by surprise as you read the results.

You were pregnant.

You waited a few weeks just be safe and also because you were terribly nervous before telling Loki but you had a scan coming up in two weeks and wanted to at least give him the option of coming.

The morning sickness had drained you and you knew it showed, you looked paler and visibly more tired with dark circles even makeup couldn’t hide, not that you bothered any more. Sometimes it took all your energy to drag yourself from bed.

You’d arranged to meet Loki at a cafe you both used to frequent regularly, the older man, being over the moon to see you again, had readily agreed.

“Y/N.” Loki stood to greet you as you made your way over to him, planting a soft kiss onto your cheek.

“Hello, Loki.” You watched as he took in your features, concern written all over his face. The man was a master at hiding his emotions but sometimes he was an open book. Thor claimed that it was his love for you that made him so readable but you doubted it.

“Is everything alright, darling?” He asked after the two of you were sat, him pulling your chair out for you. Somethings never do change.

“I have something to tell you.” You began, taking a deep breath. “I’m pregnant.”

You watched as his face dropped, his concerned expression changing into one of almost disappointment. You tried not to let your eyes tear up but your emotions were all over the place at the moment.

“That’s wonderful news, Y/N.” He told you, plastering a fake smile onto his face. “I’m sure you and the father will do an excellent job.” That made your eyebrows knit together in confusion, why was he saying the father like it’s not-oh.

“Loki about the baby, it’s yours.”

Loki was silent for a long moment, eyes wide as he froze, still as a statue.

“It’s what?” He asked, voice barely a whisper.

“The baby’s yours. We’re having a baby, Lokes, and I understand if you want nothing more to do with me but if you want to see the baby I respect that and we can arrange something but if you don’t want anything to do with me or the baby that’s ok too.” You rambled, the speech you had prepared coming out faster than intended.

“Wow, slow down a moment, Y/N. Who said I wanted nothing to do with you or the baby?” He asked, confused.

“Well, with the breakup and everything-” you began but were quickly cut off.

“Y/N, I never wanted that breakup. Darling, I love you more than you could possibly know and that baby, God, I’m going to love that baby just as much as I love you. That breakup showed we have a lot to work on but I am willing to. It’s the reason I came today.” He told you and you were in shock. This was the best possible outcome that you hadn’t let yourself think about.

“You mean it?”

“Of course, I do. We’re having a baby, Y/N.” He grinned at you, standing up and pulling you up with him before wrapping his arms around you, you hugging back just as tightly. “We’re having a baby.”

Loki kept his promises.

He went to every scan, got you every food item you needed, no matter how strange the combination, he read the books, held your hair back as you struggled through the morning sickness, held you every time you cried and reassured you that you’d be a great mom.

He held your hand. Letting you squeeze it even as he thought it would break, as you were in labour. Twelve long hours he doted on you, treating you like a queen, even as you cursed him for putting you there.

Twelve long hours until he held his baby girl in his arms for the first time, looking down at her like she was the entire world. But then his gazed shifted to you, the same look on his face.

He came and sat on the bed next to you, handing you the little girl who already looked so much like her father.

You were exhausted but you happily took your daughter and held her close, leaning into Loki's chest as he pulled you close.

“I am so proud of you, my darling.” He told you softly, leaning down to kiss your head.

“Thank you, I couldn’t have done it without you.” You laughed as you ran your thumb gently on the baby's cheek. “God, this day is perfect.”

“I think so too.” Loki agreed. “Which is why now is the perfect time to ask you this. Darling, you have made me a better man than I could ever have hoped to of been, you gave me the greatest gift and so much more. Y/F/N Y/L/N, will you do me the honour of being my wife?” Loki asked as he pulled a gorgeous ring out of his pocked. Immediately your eyes filled with tears.

“Loki!” You managed to choke out, a wide grin on your face. “God, of course I will.” You laughed as he let out a breath of relief before leaning down and kissing you.

Pulling back, he placed the ring on your finger and held you both close.

“My two girls, I love you both so much.”

“We love you too, sweetheart.

Requested - anon - Please could you write a loki imagine with the prompts were they get together and it’s just fluff. Thank you!

Prompts - “Your hair is so soft.” and “You make me feel safer than I have in a long time.”

You wandered around the tower alone after waking for the third time that night after deciding that you just weren’t going to get any sleep. These nightmares had started only two weeks ago, shortly after you and the rest of the Avengers had dealt with a witch who used her talents to push your worst thoughts, memories and visions onto you. As a result, you had frozen in fear on the battlefield and ended up with a broken arm and a concussion, as well as the nightmares.

You’d taken to walking the empty tower as a distraction, talking to JARVIS or sitting near the window and watching the city bustle with life no matter the time. Any distraction to not focus on the nightmares. Of course, you could never banish the memory, your family being killed in order for you to corporate, to use your powers and become an experiment to the men in lab coats who had no problems poking at your brain. Even though you were eventually saved and put in a school that helped you use your powers and educated you, the damage was done.

“Fancy seeing you here.” A voice murmured, jolting you from your thoughts. You turned around to see Loki leaning against the door frame, looking relaxed in a pair of dark green sweatpants and a fitted black t shirt.

That’s another thing that had become a regular part of your night time routine. Loki. He too wondered the tower at night when everyone else was sleeping, or pulling an all-nighter in the lab in Tony and Bruce’s case.

“Hey, Loki.” You greeted, a tired smile making its way onto your face.

“Night terrors again, darling?” He asked, stepping into the room and taking a seat on the floor next to you.

Thor had brought Loki to the tower four or so months ago, pleading that he was the victim, that the attack was part of a bigger plan. It turned out what Thor said was true and the Avengers were working to find the threat. Loki was granted a safe space within the tower, though that didn’t mean every Avenger was thrilled with the development. You however had taken to Loki quite well, you hadn’t been with the Avengers during the attack on New York but you had witnessed it and tried to help out with civilians, it’s how you were suddenly on the Avengers radar.

“Unfortunately.” You told him; voice soft so not break the peaceful atmosphere surrounding the two of you.

“If only you’d let me help.” Loki had been offering to help you sleep, using his magic to keep the nightmares away but, as much as you trusted the God, you’d had enough people poking at your head to last you a lifetime.

“I appreciate it, I do, but some things are better left to heal naturally.” He’d heard the same variation of no a thousand times from you and each time still he rolled his eyes but the same fond smile always followed. “Foolish mortal.” He grumbled but the affection was clear in his voice.

For months the two of you had flirted, at first it was the playful, friendly sort of flirting, but overtime it turned into something more. The two of you were more than happen to let things progress naturally, both knowing what the endgame would be. For now, the small touches, sneaked glances and flirting was enough.

“Why’re you up?” You asked, moving to lay your head on his shoulder, missing the way he glanced down at you with a soft smile that seemed to be reserved only for you.

“The same reason as you, dear Y/N.” Loki had shared with you some small memories from his time on Asgard since the attack and his time with the titan the Avengers were currently tracking. Though you knew little, it was enough to know Loki was truly hurt.

“I wish I could do something to help.” You turned your head slightly to look up at the God when you hear him chuckle.

“Darling, you do much more than you know to help me.” The sincerity in his voice had you sitting up, looking at him with a confused expression.

Loki was a strong man; he had stood firm in positions most Gods would crumble under. He had lied and tricked his way through life but right now, looking at you as you sat before him, he could not resist. He leaned forward and pressed his lips to yours, not letting him doubt himself for even a second for fear of ruining this. He felt you smile into the kiss and raised his hand to your cheek as yours went around his neck, playing with the long locks of hair.

Eventually, and after a few more shared kisses, the two of you pulled back, smiling dumbly at one another.

“Your hair is so soft.” You told him breathlessly causing Loki to laugh softly as he drew you close to him.

“You, my darling, make me feel safer than I have in a long time.” Loki mumbled before pressing his lips against yours once more.

The two of you sat in the living room, cuddled close together and at some point, Loki magicked a blanked into being.

That’s how the rest of the Avengers found the two of you in the morning, Thor grinned at the sleeping form of his friend and brother, knowing he hadn’t seen Loki smile so much since they were much younger and things were less complicated.

It was about time the trickster was truly happy and you deserved that happiness to.

Prompts -  Can you do a fluffy Dean Forester x reader?

You let out a sigh as you collapsed into a chair at Luke’s. The entire day had just gone from bad to worse in a matter of hours, starting with your alarm not going off causing you to over sleep and then a fight with your parents that caused you to storm out without the books you needed and then you’d received not one but two surprise tests that would affect your overall grade and you had just known you’d done terrible in. Then at lunch there was the regular high school drama that you had somehow been dragged in to before you could get away to the library and your class just before lunch had announced there would be a group assignment. Those were the worst, you ended up taking control and doing the entire assignment alone and putting the others names on it otherwise you knew without a doubt your grades would plummet.

You were glad to get a few moments alone and sat with your head in your arms for a second before sitting up straight.

“Rough day?” A gruff voice asked.

“Understatement.” You sighed, looking up at Luke who wore a sympathetic look.

“The regular then?” He asked and you nodded, thanking him as he walked away.

Being in Luke’s had always managed to calm you down, the atmosphere of the place worked to soothe your anxiety and troubles and in here with the smell of food, coffee, tea and hot chocolate you could forget about the world beyond those doors.

“On the house.” Luke said, a hint of a smile on his face, as he set your regular drink down and a muffin which you hadn’t ordered. You told him as much.

“Yeah, well, you look like you could use it.” He said before walking off.

“Thank you!” You called to him but he just waved a tea towel in your direction.

You had managed to drink half your drink and eat your muffin in peace before you were interrupted by a tall kid. You recognised him as the new kid from Chicago but couldn’t place his name, though you had heard about how supposedly dreamy he was from most girls in school.

“Um, hi.” He said as he approached your table hesitantly.

“Hi?” You asked, looking up at him.

You could see what all those girls had meant when they called him dreamy. He was the perfect poster boy for a high school crush, tall, fit, probably played sport. The hair looked perfect for running your fingers through and his smile made him look adorable.

“I’m Dean.” He introduced himself, taking a step closer. “I missed class today but I stopped by after school to get the work and Miss Collins told me that we’re partners for an assignment.” You barely held in your sigh, the entire day had been exhausting and now you had to talk about this assignment rather than do what you wanted to do which was sit alone in Luke’s for half an hour more before going home and collapsing in to bed. Instead of doing any of that though, you smiled and gestured to the seat across from you.

“I’m Y/N.” You introduced yourself as he sat down and beamed at you. Even you had to admit it was a pretty smile. “So, I already made a plan up for what we could do but I’m open to suggestions.” You lied. You had spent your break in the library once you finished up in the cafeteria and made a plan for yourself, believing that your group partner would bail on you.

You watched as Dean read over your work, eyes scanning every bit of the page before he looked back up at you.

“This is great.” He told you, “You pick whatever bits you’re happy to do and I’ll take the rest.” Dean told you causing your eyebrows to shoot up. Never in your many years in the education system had someone actually offered to do the work with you, by now you had a reputation of taking over so much so that people wanted to work with you just so they could slack off. “I’m guessing not a lot of people make that offer.” Dean prompted with a laugh.

“The complete opposite actually, they tend to expect me to do the work, which I do because I care about my grades and college is important to me.” You told him, causing him to nod.

The two of you sat together and went over the schedule you had produced, going through who wanted to take each sub topic and dividing the work amongst you. Luke had stopped by to swap out your cold drink for a new one and gave Dean a coffee.

Eventually Dean had to excuse himself as he had work. Your eyes widened as you realised, you’d been sat there for an hour and a half, the schedule long complete and the two of you moving on to talk that was not school related. The two of you had gotten to know each other, you knew he had a sister and why they had moved to small town Stars Hollow, he knew you couldn’t wait to leave and go to college, though you would miss Luke’s. You spoke of your favourite shows, books and music without realising how much time had passed.

“I liked hanging out with you, Y/N.” And the way he said your name made you smile softly in a way you couldn’t recall doing before.

“Me too.” You told him and meant it. It had been a while since you had actually enjoyed spending time with someone your age, finding most of them too immature or too concerned with their image. You liked to be by yourself but something about Dean made you want to spend more time with him.

“Maybe we can meet here tomorrow after school?” He asked shyly, reaching up to brush his hair behind his ear causing your smile to grow.

“Yeah, that’d be good.” You told him, concerned by how true those words were.

The two of you said your goodbyes and you watched as he walked out of Luke’s. Identical smiles playing on both your faces.

“Seriously, that guy?” You jumped when you heard Luke snort from next to you as he began cleaning the cups away and you scooped your papers into your bag.

“What do you mean that guy?” You asked with an eye roll, “There is no that guy, we’re partners on an assignment.” You told him as you stood up, swinging your bag onto your shoulder.

“Whatever you say, kid.” Luke laughed as you left throwing a goodbye over your shoulder.

-

-

-

And so it went with you and Dean meeting each other after school. The meetings went from every other day to finish the assignment, though admittedly that got pushed to the side after an hour of work and the two of you ended up talking about one another, to daily occurrences. The two of you would meet up after school and walk over to Luke’s to enjoy each other’s company. The two of you sat in there for hours and if it wasn’t for Dean’s shift at the market or your shift at Luke’s where you actually had to work and ‘not sit and talk to the pretty boy’ according to Luke, then the two of you would’ve stayed there for the whole night.

At some point you started spending time at Dean’s house and him at yours. The two of you had movie nights and were content to relax in each other’s company, either enjoying the peaceful silence or asking five hundred questions as the movies played, forgotten in the background.

“This is so bad; how do you watch it?” You laughed as you leaned against him. The two of you were laying on his bed as he played some movie you’d long forgotten the name off. All you knew was there were badly edited monsters and a whole lot of goo.

“What are you talking about?” He exclaimed with a grin, “This is a masterpiece!”

“Dean, I can see the microphone in the corner of the screen and I’m pretty sure that’s a stick that is moving the monster in the other corner.” You continued to laugh as he shoved you and grumbled under his breath.

“Fine, fine.” He said, stretching until he grabbed the remote and handed it to you. “You pick something but please God do not put another film like the one you had on the other day.” He begged you with his puppy dog eyes.

“First of all, that was a classic and I’m shocked you’ve never seen it.” You said as you pointed the remote at him causing him to grin. “Secondly, shush.”

You quickly put on a random movie, both of you admitting you hadn’t seen it before. Dean lay down slightly, shifting as he got comfortable, and you didn’t hesitate before laying your head on his chest and cuddling close to him.

“Hey.” He whispered half way through the movie. The two of you were laying fully on the bed now, rather than just reclined, and the room was dark, the only light coming from the tv.

“Hey.” You whispered back, watching as he lifted a hand to your face and felt as he brushed a strand of your hair away.

“Y/N, I really like you.” Dean confessed into the darkness. You could see him biting his lip, his eyes wide as he resembled a puppy, nervously awaiting your response.

You smiled and lifted your hand to rest on the one that was cupping your cheek. You felt him tense and then relax and your hand didn’t push his away.

“I really like you too.” You admitted, butterflies dancing madly in your stomach. You watched as Dean’s face lit up, a smile playing on his lips before he leaned forward. You leaned in too but stopped when he did.

“Can I kiss you?” He asked in a whisper and all you could do was nod before he brought your lips together in a soft kiss.

It was your first, but definitely not the last for that night, kiss. It felt like all the clichés rolled together, fireworks, butterflies, nobody else in the world, all of them described the kiss perfectly.

“Will you please be my girlfriend?” He asked as he played with your hair, bringing you in for another kiss. You managed to breath a ‘yes’ out before he kissed you again and again.

That night the two of you fell asleep with wide smiles and bruised lips.

-

-

You and Dean walked into Luke’s the next afternoon just after school had finished hand in hand with matching smiles. As you entered Luke looked between your locked hands and rolled his eyes at both of you as you sat at the counter.

“So, you two finally realised you’ve been dating for months?” Luke asked as he started on your drinks. You rolled your eyes and Dean laughed and wrapped an arm around your shoulders.

“Yeah, I guess we did.” He answered before leaning down to kiss you.

“Hey, no kissing at the counter.” Luke interrupted as he turned around to give you your drinks causing you to laugh against Dean.

“Technically that’s not a rule.” You said pointing to his list of rules with a smirk.

You watched as Luke scowled at you but you could see the hint of happiness behind it.

“I say it’s a rule, it’s a rule.” He told you, pointing a finger at you causing you to raise your hands in surrender.

“No kissing at the counter.” You agreed with a laugh.

You and Dean stayed at the counter for an hour, laughing and talking before Dean had to go to work. Since tomorrow was Saturday the two of you decided it was the perfect time for a first date, though apparently it wasn’t technically the first as you had both been dating for months before realising. Dean told you he’d pick you up tomorrow at 12 before giving you a kiss and leaving.

“No kissing at the counter!” You and Luke shouted at the same time causing Dean to laugh his way out of the door.

You watched as he left with a smile on your face before turning to Luke who was smiling at you.

“I’m happy for you, kid.” He told you honestly.

“Thank you.” You smiled before getting up to get ready for work, already thinking about what Dean had planned for tomorrow.

The One I Love, The One I Hate

Requested - Yes -  @halesandy - Hi! Read all of your works in your masterlist and couldn't stop myself from asking #143 with Jared Padalecki or Sam Winchester. Could you please write it?) Thank you in advance and have a nice day ⭐ Thank you for reading my work, I hope you enjoy this!

Prompts -  143 - “Didn’t you two used to hate each other?” “Yeah, but now we hold hands and shit!”

You had only been working on the set of Supernatural for a year and whilst you loved it, there were somethings you wished you could change. Like the fact that your character, Violet, was in a relationship with Jared’s character, Sam. During your first season your two characters danced around each other, both finding each other attractive from their first meeting were Sam saved her from a nest of vampires after she was captured by them. Your character was a hunter and quickly joined forces with Sam and Dean.

You sat in your house and read over the scripts that had been sent over, groaning in dismay as you did. The first episode was fairly boring in the way of Violet and Sam’s romance but by episode three you were both to confess your feelings in a life or death situation, only for the awkwardness to start up when you all lived. There were kissing scenes too, quite a lot of them.

Since your first day on set you and Jared did not get along. You clicked straight away with Jensen and became great friends with him, you would have much preferred for your character to be dating Dean but alas things didn’t always work in your favour. It took some time before you and Misha actually became friends, though you two were friendly enough to each other on set but now the two of you hung out together when you weren’t filming. Jared Padalecki, however, was someone you were just about civil with. The same went for him, though he tries to keep up a friendly appearance whenever a camera or fan is around, the two of you hardly speak to each other and if you do it isn’t exactly friendly.

Sometimes you see Jared completely relaxed and at ease, goofing around with the other men on set and can’t help but yearn for that friendship, it would certainly make things a lot easier on set but you never tried to change the dynamic between you.

Shooting this season was going to be great.

-

-

-

“Late on the first day, Y/L/N.” Was the first thing you heard as you practically fell through the hair and makeup trailers door. You let out an annoyed sigh before collapsing into your chair, smiling gratefully at the PA who handed you a drink.

“Bite me, Padalecki.” You shot back before taking a sip of your drink, relaxing ever so slightly.

“Come on now, Y/N. This season is going to be great; I mean what’s better than our romance finally blossoming.” Jared laughed as he watched you roll your eyes.

Besides Jared’s early morning annoyances throughout the duration of your hair and makeup prep, it was actually really great to be back on set and before long you were walking towards the set ready to start shooting.

“Y/N.” You heard someone call and turned around to seeing Jensen jogging towards you.

“Hey!” You greeted him happily, hugging him back as he pulled you into his chest.

“How was your break?” He asked as the two of you continued on your way to set, exchanging stories from your break. Just as you were about to step into the room Jensen placed a hand on your forearm, stopping you in place. You frowned up at him in confusion.

“Listen, I know you and Jared don’t exactly get on,” He started but was cut off by you snorting.

“Understatement.” You laughed.

“I know you don’t get on,” Jensen repeated, rolling his eyes but smiling fondly, “But I just wanted to make sure you were going to be ok this season, you’re going to be working with him more than anyone.”

“I hope you gave him the same talk.” You mumbled. “But I’m a professional, this is my job and I’m not going to let my feelings get in the way of that. Trust me, I’m good.” You reassured him. You knew how many people watched this show, how they could pick up on any real-life tension that managed to sneak into the show. You could push your feelings to the side for them.

“I did give him the same talk, just so you know.” He said as the two of you entered the room.

“Good.” Was all you said before making your way over to the director who called you.

-

-

-

“They don’t know Violet.” Castiel murmured quietly, but in the already silent room he may as well of shouted it. You felt a coldness seep through your bones as you shivered. Sam immediately took notice and rested his hand on top of yours.

The four of you were sat in a diner trying to figure out how to deal with some demons who had information but were not willing to deal with Winchesters any more, no matter what the boys offered in return.

“No way, Cas.” Sam said, squeezing your hand. “It’s not safe.”

“I can deal with demons.” You defended, pulling your hand out from under Sam. “I’ll do it.” You said to Dean instead.

“I know you can deal with demons, Vi, but this is too dangerous. They know you’re important to us and if they have you, well, whatever they want from us they’ll have.” Sam explained, looking at you with those puppy dog eyes.

“The way I see it you have two options. One; send me in, they don’t know me, or two; we sit around with our thumbs up our arse whilst the demons and Lucifer continue on with their plan.” You told them, anger dripping from your tone.

“If Lucifer gets a hold of you, Vi…” Sam began but trailed off with haunted eyes. “It’s a risk we aren’t taking. I’m sorry but there has to be another way.” Sam pleaded as he held your hand again.

“And cut!” The director yelled, “Perfect guys, good job.”

You were quick to pull your hand away from Jared causing him to laugh, he threw his arm behind you to rest on the booth.

“Seriously, if holding my hand is so bad, wait until we kiss.” You rolled your eyes as you left the booth, heading over to the table that held food and bottles of water.

You loved working on Supernatural but sometimes it could be draining.

The first two episodes were wrapped up and it had gone relatively smoothly, a few arguments here and there between Jared and yourself but nothing that wasn’t solved by a small break. However, today was the day were you and Jared were filming your love confession scene and it was already going terribly.

An hour in and twelve takes later you still had no usable footage.

Violet jumped as a hand grabbed hers, whipping round only to relax as she saw Sam in front of her with a blade. She let herself give a quiet sigh of relief as she looked up at the man.

“Vi,” Sam whispered, looking just as bloody and bad as you did, “we can’t get out, we need a plan.”

The two of you surveyed the room, trying to see if there was anything, anything at all, that could get you out of the small, dark room. However, there was little in there, a raggedy blanket, a few empty bottles and some rotten food.

It was hopeless, you were going to die.

“Hey, hey, look at me.” Sam said as he saw your panic, taking your face into his hands. “You’re gonna be ok, we’re gonna get out.”

“Cut!” The director yelled a fifteenth time, causing you to groan and push Jared away. “It’s too stale guys! I know you have your differences but you gotta work together here. Take a break, let’s get Jensen and Misha in here and film them.” The director said to the room before turning to you and Jared again. “Take a break together, see if you can fix this.” He said before walking away.

“He’s right.” Was all you could say, you knew your acting was stoic, no matter how hard you tried there was something about Jared. The same went for Jared, he was a great actor but when it came to you it was terrible.

“I know.” Jared agreed with you, before continuing, “C’mon, we can go to my trailer and work something out.”

-

-

You were sitting in Jared’s trailer anxiously tugging on your sleeve as Jared sat next to you silently. The two of you had no idea where to start, not really able to pinpoint exactly when things had gotten so bad that you couldn’t act together.

“I don’t know why you hate me so much,” Jared began but didn’t get very far as you cut him off immediately, eyes wide in shock.

“Seriously?” You asked, voice soft, “You’re the one who was cold towards me, sure we never really clicked but you acted like I wasn’t even onset until the director yelled action. I followed your lead.” You told him truthfully. Sure, you hadn’t gotten along straight away but it was Jared who started the arguments, it was Jared who acted like you didn’t exist.

“That’s not what happened and you know it.” He argued, though there was no heat to his words.

“Yes, it was, I know we didn’t hit it off instantly but you shot down anything chance of us getting along.” You shot back, refusing to look at him and instead stared straight ahead.

“I only started the comments as a way to ease whatever tension was between us. It was meant to be a joke but when it wasn’t taken as one, I just left it but you shot back and then it spiralled.” He sighed, knowing he’d messed up.

“We’re idiots.” You laughed but there was no humour to it.

“We are.” Jared agreed.

The two of you spoke for a little longer, trying to erase a years’ worth of hurtful comments and arguments. It obviously wasn’t going to be solved with one conversation but it was a start. At some point Jared suggested you two rehearsed and so you did, rehearsing until the PA called you back onto set.

You woke up in a dark room, head aching as you tried to look around. You could see nothing of importance in the room and the door was too far away for you whilst your leg was hurt, you were sure you felt blood gushing from it.

You let out a quiet groan, letting your head hit the wall only to let out a hiss of pain as it came into contact. You nearly yelled as you felt something grab your hand, jumping as you tried to pull it back.

“Vi, hey, relax it’s me.” Sam said, his voice soft, barely above a whisper, causing you to relax ever so slightly. “There’s no way out, no windows, locked door.” He informed you causing your panic to flare up but Sam was there straight away, kneeling in front of you and cupping your face into his hand. You couldn’t help but tilt your head into his touch causing him to smile slightly. “We’re going to get out, I promise, you’ll be ok.”

“How?” You croaked; voice hoarse from shouting earlier. “You said it yourself, there’s no way out and they took our weapons. We’re screwed.” You felt Sam’s thumb brushing soothingly against your cheek, causing you to relax despite the panic building up.

The two of you stayed silent as you heard the floorboards creek from outside, holding your breath until the steps passed the door and continued down the hallway.

“What about Cas?” You asked hopefully but frowned as Sam shook his head.

“I’ve tried praying but,” Sam trailed off, glancing around the room to emphasis the lack of angel there.

“So what? We sit here and wait to die?” You snapped as panic coursed through your veins.

“No, we wait for someone to open the door and we fight our way out.” Sam said but he didn’t sound so sure about the plan.

“I don’t know if you noticed but I was stabbed in the leg.” You reminded him causing him to curse and pull his hand away from your face so he could examine your leg. It wasn’t too deep but you had definitely lost a fair bit of blood.

You watched as Sam ripped a piece of his shirt and wrapped it around your wound, frowning as he did so.

You both froze again as you heard the sound of the door being unlocked. A demon in a black suit walking in with a cocky look on his face.

“Let her go!” Sam barked before the demon could open its mouth.

“Temper, temper.” It purred, walking over to the two of you. “But why would we let her go when she’s the one we want?”

“She has nothing to do with this! Lucifer wants me!” Sam positioned himself in front of you protectively and as much as you appreciated it you knew it would do little to hold the demon off if it wanted you.

“Are you going to say yes to him?” It asked, voice full of humour. “Didn’t think so. But because we’re oh so nice, we’ll give you a choice.”

“Oh yeah, bite me.” Sam snapped.

“Ah, ah, now don’t tempt me.” It sang. “Either say yes to Lucifer or we get the girl and she looks delicious.” It said, looking at you and licking its lips as it shivered in pleasure at the thoughts running through its mind.

“You’re not getting her and I’m not saying yes.” The demon just looked pleased as Sam protested.

“Say your goodbyes.” It cackled before leaving the room, smirking at you as it did.

“Sam,” You called, getting his attention, he was immediately facing you. “Let them have me, do not say yes. Promise me Sam!” You begged as tears clouded your vision.

“Vi,” He whispered brokenly, his own tears falling down his face as he looked at you with those puppy dog eyes.

“Promise me, Sam, you have to promise me you won’t say yes.”

“I promise, Vi. I’ll get you back. There’s so many things I wanted to tell you but nothing more than I love you, Violet, so damn much and I’m going to get you back.” He swore, voice hard even as the tears flowed.

“I love you too.” You cried, your own tears falling uncontrollably down your face. “I love you so much, I know you’ll get me but don’t do anything stupid.”

Before Sam could reply there were demons in the room and you were flashed out of the room, getting one last look at the man you loved.

“And cut!” The director yelled and you could hear the grin in his voice. “That was perfect, you two were great, keep up the good work.” He praised before wondering off.

You wiped your eyes from where you sat on the floor before you saw a hand come into view and saw Jared offering it to you. You let the man pull you up and smiled as he brushed away your tears.

“You ok?” He asked, feeling the effects of the scene himself. You nodded at him, smiling softly. “Good. He was right, you know, you were great.”

“Thank you, you weren’t so bad yourself.” You smirked at him, causing him to roll his eyes and smile back at you.

“C’mon, we could both use some water.”

From then on filming the rest of the season was a breeze. Jared and you still argued and picked fights with each other but it was all in good nature now. Being on set was much more enjoyable and your acting had improved greatly now that you actually got along with your scene partner.

However, at some point you realised that maybe you had started getting on too well with Jared as you noticed yourself feeling giddy around him, blushing and just wanting to generally be with him whenever you could. You felt like you were back in high school with a crush. Sometimes you missed the times when you thought you hated the man.

It was getting harder to control too, especially since you had to kiss the man on an almost daily basis, several dozen times a day. God, could that man kiss.

The two of you hung out more together on set, though kept it to yourselves mostly. Sometimes you’d rehearse, sometimes you’d have dinner together and sometimes, like now, you’d find yourself cuddled into his chest as a movie played on the tv in front of you, though you had to admit you weren’t paying much attention to the movie but more so on the hand that absentmindedly played with your hair.

Sometimes it was like Jared knew and he was just playing with you. You knew he wasn’t and that you were just paranoid but between the soft smiles you traded and the peaceful nights spent like this, it was heart-breaking but you knew you wouldn’t put a stop to it. If this was the only way you could have him, then you’d take it.

-

-

-

“Hey, can we talk?” Jared asked as he jogged up to you after a long, draining day of filming. The words filled you with dread but a bigger part of you just wanted to collapse on the nearest bed.

“Sure.” You agreed tiredly, suppressing a yawn, causing Jared to smile softly at you.

“C’mon, my trailer’s closer.” It didn’t take long for the two of you to arrive at Jared’s trailer where he quickly made drinks and the two of you practically fell into the sofa.

“So, what’s up?” You said after a few minutes of sitting silently on the sofa, watching a Jared fidgeted with the mug in his hand.

“Right.” He began, clearing his throat and shifting so he was sitting with one leg crossed underneath him so that he could face you properly. “It’s just that, I mean, we’re getting along with each other now and I guess, well I mean I knew even when we didn’t get along but still…” Jared continued to ramble as you struggled to make sense of his words.

“Jared.” You interrupted softly, “what’s going on?” You asked in confusion, watching as Jared shook his head before taking a deep breath.

“I like you. I have for a while now, even when we didn’t get along. There’s always been something about you and I’m fine if you’d rather just be friends but I thought you should know.” Jared quickly explained, you just about made out the fast-spoken words but once you did you let out a small, shocked laugh that had Jared’s face falling so you quickly explained.

“Wait, no, I like you too!” You exclaimed. “I just thought with all our history that you’d never like me and I’d accepted that. Sorry, I’m just shocked.” You laughed as Jared let out a sigh of relief.

“So, does this mean I can take you out on a date?” He asked with a large smile that was contagious.

“It does.” You grinned and the two of you stayed on the couch talking for most of the night. The two of you agreed just to keep this to yourselves, not wanting to disrupt the cast or the flow of filming if this didn’t work out.

You woke up the next morning with a sore neck, leaning against Jared.

-

-

-

You and Jared had been on several dates and everything was going great. You decided to wait until for a month or two before telling people but that went out of the window when the two of you were in Jared’s trailer one day after shooting.

The two of you only had a few scenes you needed to shoot that day and had gotten everything wrapped in just a few hours, whereas Misha and Jensen had a later start so wouldn’t be done for a few more hours at most. You and Jared had taken that time to go back to his trailer and watch a movie. At some movie watching turned into completely ignoring the screen in favour of making out with each other, losing track of time.

Neither of you heard the knock or the trailer door opening but you did hear Jensen’s voice, as he looked at the two of you with a raised eyebrow.

You and Jared quickly pulled away from each other, putting space between the two of you as you both looked up at Jensen with sheepish smiles.

“Didn’t you two used to hate each other?” He asked but didn’t sound too shocked.

“Yeah, but now we hold hands and shit!” Jared laughed, causing both you and Jensen to roll your eyes.

“Sure, whatever makes you two happy,” Jensen grinned as he slapped Jared’s shoulder. “There’s a group of us going out, are you two coming?”

The three of you left the trailer and Jared and you decided to just enjoy each other’s company in public too, you were both happy and even if something didn’t end up working out you were professionals.

-

-

-

“I don’t know what’s worse,” Misha laughed into the microphone, “being onset with Jared and Y/N now or when they didn’t get along.”

“Definitely now.” Jensen answered with an eye roll causing you to giggle and lean into Jared, who had an arm wrapped around you. “At least when they hated each other they stormed away from each other, now they’re joined at the hip. I mean look at them.” He continued causing the crowd to erupt into screams and cheers.

You and Jared had been dating for a year, six months in you announced it on social media and now conventions were a lot easier when you didn’t have to pretend you weren’t dating Jared. Still being relatively new to these conventions, it was nice to have Jared with you to sooth any anxiety you got. He was more than happy to find a quiet place and sit with you.

A year into it, your relationship was great, sure you two still argued but it was all done with love. None of those hurtful words that were thrown around when you first met. Sometimes working with your boyfriend was a lot, seeing him all day and then going back to the trailers but you’d both worked through it and now it was great. You had moved in with each other in Texas when you weren’t shooting and you loved living down there.

As you looked at Jared, who was jokingly defending your relationship, you couldn’t help but smile at him. Who would have thought the man you once hated would turn out to be the man you loved?

Prompts -  ‘First second I saw you I couldn’t get over how beautiful you were.’

When you agreed to go out with the girls you thought it would be fun, you really did, but from the moment the first shot was downed the questions started.

“When are you and Jake going to get it on?”

“Seriously, call him. Now.”

“You like him, he likes you. Come on, Y/N.”

As much as you loved Amy, Rosa and Gina, you couldn’t take the constant hounding and ending up leaving early.

The three of them had known they had taken it too far this time but still stood by their actions, it was a nightmare seeing you and Jake pine for each other when you were both so obviously into each other.

It’s not that you denied your feelings for Jake either, you told them months ago but hoped they’d just forget about it and not make a big deal but apparently that was too much to ask. You and Jake worked together, worked well together, and you didn’t want to do anything to jeopardise that work relationship you two had. You were in sync with each other, able to communicate without talking make it easy to come up with fast, last minute change of plans and resulted in a win for the nine-nine.

Besides it’s not like he liked you back, no matter what Amy, Rosa and Gina said.

“Good morning squad. Tonight is the stake out for the Fisk drug bust. Boyle and Santiago you’ll be in the surveillance van, Diaz and Jeffords you’ll take the abandoned rooms and Y/L/N and Peralta you’ll take the roof. We’ll have a team ready to move on the command. Any problems?” Captain Holt asked during the briefing and you all murmured a no before heading back to work.

You took a seat at your desk and didn’t notice Amy until she cleared her throat.

“Hey Amy.” You greeted with a slightly forced smile. You weren’t mad at her over brining up your crush on Jake but it did grate on you.

“Hi. Listen, I just want to say we’re sorry. We just want you to be happy and think Jake will do that.” Amy told you as she took a seat next to your desk.

“I get it, Aimes, I really do but I just hate hearing about it constantly. Especially when I know he doesn’t feel the same way. We’re just friends” You said with a frown, picking up your pen and tapping it on the desk.

“You’re kidding? You seriously think he doesn’t like you? I thought you just didn’t want to risk anything affecting work but you don’t think he likes you? Y/N, You’re kidding! He looks at you like you’re his entire world.” Amy told you, sincerity so clear in her tone that it made you pause for a second before shaking your head.

“No, he doesn’t. You’re just reading too much into this because you want it to work out.” You said, trying to convince yourself rather than Amy.

“No,Y/N, I’m not. Ask anyone.” She said as she stood up, “Ask Hitchcock and Scully, even they see it.”

You managed to shake away what Amy had said to you, not very well admittedly, and get some work done. You managed to file three cases before you were interrupted again.

“Everything ok?” Jake asked causing you to look away from your work and at him. He was lounging in the chair next to your desk with his legs spread out in front of him.

“Yeah, why?” You asked with a smile.

“Saw you talking to Santiago earlier, you were tapping your pen which meant you were troubled. I tried to come save you but well Charles....” He told you, trailing off with a laugh.

“So no more,” You giggled. “But seriously I’m fine. Amy was attempting to girl talk and it was as good as you’d imagine.” You told him causing him to laugh again.

“So, you ready for tonight? I already have so many snack, it’s gonna be great.” He grinned at you making your heart fluttered.

“You do realise this is a stake out to arrest one of the deadliest drug rings, right?” You asked with a raised brow and a smirk.

“Sure, sure but who says we can’t have a good time?” He questioned, smiling brighter as he made you smile.

“Holt probably would but I can’t wait.” You told him causing him to cheer.

“See you tonight, Y/L/N/.” He smiled as he stood up and headed to his own desk to grab his jacket. “Want me to pick you up?”

“That’d be great, thanks.” God, Jake made you feel like you were a damn teenager all over again.

“No problem.” He waved to you and shouted a quick goodbye to the rest of the group before leaving the precinct.

You watched the close elevator doors, missing the way Gina and Rosa smirked at you.

-

-

-

“So many stairs.” Jake groaned and you copied the noise, panting as you leaned against the closed door.

“So many stairs.” You moaned back, seriously would it kill people to fix the elevators.

Once the two of you had caught your breath you made your way over to the walls ledge, pulling out walkie talkies, binoculars and Jake pulled out an impressive amount of snacks.

“Oh hey, you got my favourites.” You grinned as you snatched up the packet.

“Of course I did, I know how to treat a girl right.” Jake grinned before pausing and looking sheepish. You smiled at him shyly.

“Yeah you do.” You said softly, so softly he almost didn’t hear you.

It was no secret to anyone who knew Jake that he liked you. Actually the only person who didn’t know was you yourself. Everytime he tried to tell you he chickened out, like the time he invented you to his apartment and spent the night watching terribly cheesy movies and talking til you were cry laughing, or the time when he took you to dinner in that new fancy restaurant you wanted to go to and the two of you played dress up for the night in your fancy outfits. There were so many occasions were he wanted to tell you but he just couldn’t, it was like the words actually got lost in his throat and every night after he would go home hating himself for not confessing because if he had you could’ve been his.

“Everyone in positions?” Terry’s voice broke the silence. You both reached for the walkie talkie, blushing as you your hands touched.

“Sorry.” You both said at the same time, laughing, as Jake handed the walkie talkie to you.

“Yes Sarge.” You confirmed as did everyone else.

“Good, no sign yet. This could be a long night, squad.” Terry told you all. There were a chorus of groans but you couldn’t think of anywhere you’d rather be.

Two hours passed and the sun had long set, it was cold and there was no sign of Fisk.

Jake had been doing his best to keep both your spirits high though and the two of you were laughing at a story he had told.

You looked at Jake in confusion when he went silent suddenly, staring at you with wide eyes and a soft smile. A look you hadn’t seen on him before.

“Everything-” Before you could even finishing your question, Jake cut you off.

“God, you’re so beautiful.” He blurted out, surprise on both of your faces. “Sorry, I just mean-” Here he trailed off before shaking his head. “No, I do mean that. Y/N, you’re so beautiful. First second I saw you I couldn’t get over how beautiful you were and I’ve liked you for so long. I get if you don’t feel the same way but-” Jake didn’t get the chance to finish his sentence because you leaned across and closed the distance between the two of you.

The kiss was so much better than you had dreamed. Your lips slotted together perfectly, Jake’s hand cupping you cheek as yours played with his hair. The softness and slowness of it was perfect and you couldn’t help but smile which broke them kiss but that was okay because Jake was smiling back just as brightly.

“I’ve wanted to do that for so long.” Jake whispered as he leaned in for another quick but slow kiss.

“Me too.” You murmured, smiling softly.

“So does this mean…” Jake trailed off hopefully.

“Yeah, I think it does.” You agreed with a grin, laughing as Jake whooped.

The two of you sat next to each other, Jake’s arm coming to wrap around you when he saw you shivering from the cold.

“Hey, I know we’re in the middle of a case but I know a pretty romantic way to warm you up.” Jake grinned all of a sudden, not giving you chance to process what he had said before he was jumping up and pulling you with him.

“What’re you doing?” You asked, cursing him for moving away as you shivered some more, why couldn’t drug deals go down in nice, warm areas with  heater.

You watched as he fiddled with his phone before you heard slow music coming from the speaker, grinning and rolling your eyes as you heard ‘Only You’ play.

“Do all guys think this song will make girls fall for them?” You laughed as did he.

“Baelfire said it worked.” He shrugged and then looked at you with a questioning look. “That was a-”

“Once Upon a Time reference, I know.” You grinned causing him to laugh louder.

“God, you’re so cool.” He said before clearing his throat and holding his hand out for you, “Can I have this dance?” He asked with a shy smile.

“I’d be honoured.” You giggled before taking his hand and the two of you were soon laughing over stepped toes as Jake guided you through the moves.

The two of you looked at each other, your feelings clear in your eyes, and wondered why you hadn’t confessed your feelings earlier.

“There’s no where else I’d rather be.” Jake told you quietly, not wanting to break the peaceful, romantic atmosphere that had settled on the roof.

“Me neither.” You agreed, enjoy the soft kiss that followed.

Really, why hadn’t you done this earlier?

Notes - This is my first Rory imagine so it’s probably ooc a bit, also I tried to avoid using pronouns just because there isn’t much Rory x reader fanfic so anyone can read this!

Requested - Yes -  @fanboy7794 - Would you be willing to do a rory x reader, Lorelai hates them and to get rory to break up with them until she sees a sweet moment between them.

You had always been more reckless than most your age, more adventurous, you didn’t really care what other people thought of you and were more than happy with your own company. It was a lot easier to be yourself in a big city like New York, a lot easier to get away with things too but here in small town Stars Hollow, it was the complete opposite of where you wanted to be. The town was too small, too suffocating, everyone knew each other, it was like you couldn’t breathe without everyone knowing.

You’d been in town for a week before the towns people started talking about you. Criticising everything about you; your hair, your dress sense, skipping school, stealing, though they only speculated this they weren’t certain you had, your explicit language. That was just to name a few.

You hardly showed up to school so hadn’t met many other people your age which you were fine with. It wasn’t until you’d been in town for two weeks or so that you bumped in her; Rory Gilmore.

You’d snuck out of the house late one night, you didn’t know why your parents even bothered grounding you any more, they knew you would never listen. You were expecting Stars Hollow to be empty so were surprised when you turned a corner and slammed into another person.

“Watch where you’re going.” You snapped.

“I’m so sorry!” You heard a girl exclaim and looked down to see she had dropped a stack of books and a to go cup from Luke’s. You looked at the girl for a moment, feeling a small smirk pull on your lips, her blue eyes caught your attention straight away, they were mesmerising.

You knelt down to help her pick up some of the books, watching as she looked up at you and smiled shyly.

“I’m Rory Gilmore.” She introduced herself, smiling as you gave her four or so books. “Thank you, I really am sorry, I wasn’t paying attention, I have this exam in two days and I’m just trying to-” She cut herself off with a blush of embarrassment. “Sorry, I’m rambling.”

“Don’t worry about it.” You smirked, “I’m Y/N.”

“I don’t think I’ve seen you around here before.” She prompted and you resisted the urge to roll your eyes, she was intriguing, yes, but you really weren’t in the mood for making friends.

“Yeah, well, me and my family just moved in.” Was all you said but she was nodding and smiling along. “Well, I won’t keep you from studying,” You said with a look that showed how you felt about that particular activity, you rarely showed up to school, yet alone studied outside of school times, “See you around, Gilmore.”

“Good night, Y/N!” Rory grinned at you before walking past you, turning around to get one more look at you before disappearing.

For some reason you found yourself hoping you would see her around.

-

-

-

And see her you did.

The second time you ran into Rory was when you had just finished being followed by Taylor, harassing you over missing money that you definitely had stolen. You saw her go into Luke’s alone and couldn’t resist.

You walked into Luke’s, leaning against the counter, and saw the exact moment she saw you. She smiled shyly as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear causing you to fight back a smirk.

“Hey.” She said as she came to stand next to you, you watched as Luke looked between the two of you with a suspicious look.

“Gilmore.” You greeted, nodding your head at her slightly.

“I’ve never seen you before, now I’ve seen you twice in three days. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you were following me.” Rory joked causing you to chuckle in amusement.

“Guess you could say I couldn’t resist.” You said, meeting her gaze. She really was beautiful, her eyes, the way her hair fell just past her shoulders. She was wearing a school uniform today that complemented her well. You knew the local school didn’t have a uniform but didn’t know of any other schools. “What’s with the uniform?” You asked, acting uninterested in her answer but listening to every word she said.

“Oh, I go to Chilton.” At your raised eyebrow she clarified, “It’s a private school up in Hartford.”

“Private school, you must be pretty damn smart then.” You acknowledge, watching her as she nodded in agreement. The fact she knew she was smart and owned it made her even more attractive.

“Rory!” You heard someone exclaim from the door. You pulled your gaze away from Rory and saw a woman that resembled her making her way over to the two of you. Not missing how she look at you with disdain.

“Hey mom,” Rory greeted, accepting the one-armed hug her mom gave.

“Who’s this?” She asked but from the way she looked at you, you knew she didn’t need an answer.

“Oh, this is Y/N.” Rory explained that you were new in town and how the two of you had met the other night.

“Well I should be going.” You told her before going to leave but turned around to smirk at her when she called your name.

“You didn’t order anything.”

“Like I said,” You grinned, sounding amused, “I couldn’t resist.” And with that you turned and left Luke’s looking through the window as you passed to see Rory’s cheeks flushed red and her mom scowling between the door and her daughter.

-

-

At some point hanging out with Rory became a regular thing for you. You didn’t know how it had happened, just that Rory had come and joined you whenever she saw you and vice versa. At some point you had begun meeting her at the bus stop after she had finished Chilton, she often told you off for skipping school but there wasn’t much heat to her words. Eventually, you talked her into sneaking out of the house. At first it was only to meet up with her in her backyard but over time you’d convinced her to come further out, to the lake, to the centre and had almost convinced her to come on a drive with you though when she saw the bike she shook her head no.

She accepted the way you were, didn’t try to change you, just poked fun and teased you and overtime you found yourself actually liking being around her, something you hadn’t done with many people. It was strange but something about Rory Gilmore spoke to you.

It was after two or so months of hanging out with Rory that you finally admitted to yourself that you liked the bookworm. The two of you would sit by the lake til late at night, you listen to her talk about Chilton and Paris and the books she’d read, she spoke of Friday night dinners and drama with Lorelai. You were attracted to her, her mind, the way she articulated things, her beauty. You hadn’t felt like this in a long time, if ever.

“-and get this, they published my article and it made front page news!” Rory beamed as the two of you were walking towards the lake after you’d picked her up from the bus stop.

“Told you they would.” You grinned, never having a doubt that she wouldn’t get her article published.

“Yeah you did.” She said softly as she gave you a shy smile, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear.

That was a thing that happened a lot between you and Rory. Small, soft looks were traded between the two of you, both of you glancing secretly at the other when you thought they couldn’t see. Smiles with hidden meanings and words that went unspoken were exchanged back and forth.

“So, what’s next for the great Rory Gilmore?” You smirked knowing that she was getting ready to apply for colleges and stressing out majorly over it even though you had no doubt she could get into any school she wanted.

You watched in amusement as she let out an over exaggerated sigh, running her hand through her hair messily as the two of you sat on the dock.

“I pretty much have everything written but I’m worried that I don’t have enough extracurricular activities but it’s too late to do anything about it now.” She told you, the words coming out in a rush causing you to raise an eyebrow. “Sorry, I’m just quite nervous. I really want to go to Harvard but apparently my grandparents want me to go to Yale and now it’s a big drama.” She exclaimed.

You just shrugged at her, never understanding why people did what they thought was best for other people rather than doing what they wanted. You said as much to her causing her to deflate.

“I know but I don’t want to disappoint anyone.” The look on her face caused you to frown and you cupped her cheek before you could really talk yourself out of doing it. You watched as she looked up at you, wide eyes and lips parted slightly.

“Do whatever you want,” You told her, brushing your thumb against her cheek, smiling slightly as she leaned into the touch, “Harvard, Yale, community college, drop out or run away to Paris or wherever it is you wanna go. Do whatever you want.” Without giving it, another thought you leaned down and pressed your lips to hers.

The kiss was hesitant to begin with, a feather-like touch of your lips against hers, giving Rory a chance to pull away if she wanted to. You were close enough to her that you felt her tense up and you were seconds away from pulling away, from apologising but before you could she was returning the kiss, just as hesitant as you, barely a brush of your lips. She pulled away first, blushing as she did.

“Y/N,” She began but the words seemed to die on her lips as she leaned back in, kissing you with more force this time. What had been just a brush against your lips turned into passionate make out session, your hands cupping her cheeks, hers looped around your neck, playing with your hair. It was quite a few minutes before the two of you pulled away gasping for air.

“Hi.” You whispered as you let your forehead rest on hers.

“Hi.” She giggled, soft smile on her face.

“I’ve wanted to do that for a while.” You confessed, grinning when she admitted to wanting it too. This was new for you, you weren’t used to being close to very many people, especially not like how you were with Rory, how you wanted to be with Rory.

“Let me take you on a date?” You asked, warmth spreading inside you when she agreed.

In a town like Stars Hollow news spread like wild fire and the fact that you had been dating Rory for just over two months without anyone finding out was astounding. You knew how much the townspeople cared for the Gilmores and how they kept a closer eye on her when you were around and so you were expecting to get caught as you held her hand or pressed a quick kiss to her lips, you weren’t expecting to get caught like this.

It was just past midnight when you snuck across the garden and quietly tapped against Rory’s window. You smiled as she opened it, every noise sounding amplified as you climbed through and greeted her with a kiss, pulling her close and pressing her against the wall. You felt her kiss back with as much force as you before she smiled into the kiss and pulled back, resting her head against the wall and panting lightly.

“Hello to you too.” She grinned as she let her palms rest on your chest, you smiled back at her before diving in again to pepper kisses from her jawline to her neck, smirking against her skin as she titled her head back for you.

You weren’t surprised when after a few minutes of making out Rory pushed you away. The two of you had never done more than kiss, you knew it was something Rory wasn’t ready for, but you enjoyed how she still blushed beautifully each time the two of you shared a heated kiss.

You flopped down of her bed, watching as she laughed quietly and sat next to you. You wrapped your arm around her shoulder letting her cuddle into your side. The two of you stayed on her bed for well over two hours, talking in whispered voices, laughing quietly desperately trying not to wake Lorelai up and kissing some more.

It was well after two that you had to leave, you’d already stayed longer than you planned to considering it was a school night, which meant very little to you but Rory insisted she had to go. You were currently laying on top of her, pressing soft kisses against her lips and finally pulled away to pull your shoes on.

“I really have to go now.” You insisted as she sat up next to you.

You said your goodbyes and shared a handful more of kisses before you climbed out of the window, not thinking anyone would see.

“Lorelai, there you are, doll!” Babette called from her lawn, waving frantically to Lorelai who was just stepping out of the house.

“Hey Babette, everything ok?” She asked as she met the woman half way.

“You’ll never guess what I saw last night!” She exclaimed, “A kid was sneaking out of your house, now it was dark, doll, but I coulda sworn it was that new kid, Y/N, is it?” She asked before shaking her head. “Anyway, I thought I’d let you know. It was midnight when I first saw Y/N and then saw the kid leaving at two.”

Lorelai was horrified but she smiled and quickly thanked Babette before storming off, making her way to Luke’s. There was nothing she could do until Rory got home.

“Hey kid.” Lorelai greeted the moment Rory walked through the door. Rory rounded the corner into the kitchen and threw her bag into her room as she said hi to Lorelai. “So, anything exciting happen since last night?” She asked causing Rory to shoot her a look of confusion.

“Erm, no, just school.” Rory said cautiously, not knowing where this was going but Lorelai was obviously upset over something.

“Oh cool, cool.” Lorelai nodded, staying silent for a few moments before speaking again, “It’s just, this morning I had a really interesting conversation with Babette. Did you know she said she saw some kid that happened to look exactly like Y/N sneaking in and out of our house last night?”

Rory froze as she reached for a mug, eyes wide and face draining of colour. It was no secret Lorelai didn’t like you, she didn’t realise the extent of just how well the two of you were getting along. Even in public you seemed more like casual acquaintances more than anything. Rory knew there was no way of getting out of this and honestly, she was a little relieved, she hated lying to Lorelai but she hadn’t come up with a good way to tell her about you.

Slowly Rory turned around and faced Lorelai, a sheepish look on her face.

“Before you get mad-” Rory began but was quickly cut off by Lorelai.

“Oh, I’m already mad, in fact, I’m so far past mad, mad looks pretty tame!” Lorelai exclaimed as she stood up, locking eyes with Rory. “How long?” She asked, her tone eerily flat.

“Mom-”

“How long, Rory?” She asked again and watch as Rory screwed her eyes shut before answering.

“A little over two months.” She confessed; voice barely louder than a whisper but in the quiet of the room she may as well of shouted it.

“Two months!?” Lorelai yelled, “That kid, that low life kid, has been sneaking around with you, sneaking into my house, for two months? Why Rory? I mean I know opposites attract but come on, the kid skips school, steals, lies, vandalises property, I mean seriously Rory the list is endless, what are you thinking?”

“I’m thinking you don’t know Y/N, like I do. You don’t see the sides I do, the kind, sweet and caring side. I really like Y/N.” Rory pleaded with Lorelai but she just shook her head.

“I want you to end this, Rory.” Lorelai said leaving no room for argument.

“Please mom.” Rory tried her eyes filling with tears.

“No Rory, end it.” And with that Lorelai turned and went upstairs, leaving Rory in the kitchen with silent tears falling down her face.

Rory paced her room as she waited for you to arrive. She had called you a few hours after she had calmed down and asked to see you. You hadn’t thought much of it though you probably should have considering it was only five and she had told you to use the front door.

Her heart felt like it had stopped when she heard a knock on the door and she could see Lorelai looking from her spot on the sofa. With a deep breath she opened the door and stepped out onto the porch.

“Hey.” She greeted, her tone void of emotion and her eyes still looked red.

“Hey.” You returned softly, stepping closer to cup her cheek and run your thumb against her cheek. She allowed herself to lean into the touch for a moment before pushing you away. “Everything ok?”

“We have to break up.” She managed to say after a long moment of silence. Your eyes widened as you took in what she said.

“Wait, what?” You asked, frowning as you took a step back, looking at her in confusion.

“I’m sorry,” She told you, teary eyes wide as she did, “but we have to break up.”

“Why?” You asked, trying to control your emotions, trying not to let it show how much she was hurting you.

She just shook her head at you. A few tears managed to make their way down her face as she looked at you apologetically.

“Please, just tell me why.” You tried again but she just shook her head and whispered an apology.  “Rory-” You began but she spoke before you could continue.

“I’m so sorry.” Was all she said before dashing back inside, leaving you looking at the closed front door with tears in your eyes.

It had been just over a week since your unexpected break up with Rory. In that time, you had taken every opportunity you could to disrupt the town whether it be by stealing from the market, causing such a disruption that the parade couldn’t commence and just generally annoyed the townspeople so much you were the only topic at that week’s town meeting.

You hated to admit how much it was hurting you that Rory had broken up with you out of the blue without any warning. Sure, you were polar opposites in most ways, she was the straight a student who put school before anything and you would rather skip school and cause a scene but you had plenty in common as well.

It was nearing on 6pm when you had finally had enough. You at least deserved to know why Rory had broken up with you so you climbed out of your bedroom window with ease and made your way over to her house hoping she was home.

The entire walk over there you thought of every reason she could give and most of them you couldn’t argue with and by the time you got to her window you’d convinced yourself that it was a bad idea, that she could do so much better than you but still, you took a deep breath and knocked quietly on her window.

You watched as she looked at you in confusion, her eyes seemed a little red around the edges as she opened her window.

“Y/N?” She asked, the crease in between her eyebrows deepening as she titled her head.

“I’m sorry,” You began, not noticing that her bedroom door was open or the fact that Lorelai was stood there listening to everything that was about to be said, “I know you probably don’t want to see me but I have to know why?” You asked, eyes wide as you pleaded with her.

“Y/N.” She sighed, looking down and tugging at the sleeves of her sweater. “I didn’t-” She started but her voice broke, you didn’t need to see her eyes to know they had filled with tears.

“Hey, I’m sorry, I’ll leave but I really like you and I want so badly to be with you but I know you can do so much better, you deserve better and I’m just sorry I couldn’t be that.” Your own voice sounded strained now and you cursed yourself for letting your eyes water up.

Rory’s head snapped up as she shook her head, reaching out and grabbing one of your hands.

“Stop it, none of this is your fault.” She cried and you took a step closer, leaning up to wipe away her tears with your free hand. Rory leaned down and pressed your foreheads together. “My mom doesn’t like you and she said I had to break up with you, I’m so sorry.”

Out of all the reasons you thought she would give you this wasn’t it. Though a part of you should have probably considered it considering how close she was with her mom.

You heard yourself laugh in disbelief before shaking your head.

“I can’t convince you to get back with me, much as I want to I know how close your mom and you are and I don’t want to be the one to come between that but Rory Gilmore I like you, I like you a lot and-” You were cut off by Rory leaning down to kiss you, it was messy and uncoordinated but right and perfect. You allowed yourself a few moments to just kiss her back, to have her this close before you regretfully pulled away from her.

“I’m sorry.” She mumbled and you let out a watery, unamused chuckled and leaned up to kiss her forehead.

“See you around, Gilmore.” You smiled and it hurt you to pull away from her but you did.

Lorelai watched as you pulled away from Rory and watched as Rory collapsed down on her bed with tears falling freely down her face. She frowned at the scene in front of her feeling like she had screwed up. Maybe making Rory break up with you was a mistake, maybe she had to let Rory be with somebody like you, honestly it was probably long overdue. She could tell, at least from what she had overheard, that you definitely cared for Rory and that you didn’t want to hurt her. With a sigh Lorelai entered Rory’s room and sat down next to her crying daughter, wrapping an arm around her and pulling her close.

“Listen kid, if you wanna be with Y/N, that’s fine. I might not like it but if it makes you happy then what I say doesn’t matter and if it does end badly, well that’s what ice cream and movies are for.” She smiled.

Rory looked up at her with wet, hopeful eyes and hesitantly asked if she was sure. As much as she liked you, she didn’t want to do anything to disrupt their dynamic.

“I’m sure, kid.” Lorelai reassured, sure she might not be your biggest fan but you made her daughter happy and at the end of the day that’s all she could ask for.

You were at Luke’s the next morning, sipping on your drink as you tried to keep your eyes open. You couldn’t sleep last night no matter how much you tried, you just kept tossing and turning.

Thankfully nobody bothered you and you were able to enjoy your drink in peace. You didn’t bother looking up when you heard the door open and rolled your eyes when you heard someone pull the chair across from you out.

“Piss off.” You snapped but your head shot up when you heard Rory.

“Hi.” She spoke hesitantly. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have broken up with you just because of my mom, it was wrong and I’m sorry.”

“I get it, ok, you and your mom are close.” You told her and meant it, you knew story and her mom where close, had been their whole lives and you knew you never stood a chance the moment Lorelai found out.

“My mom came and spoke to me last night after you left and she said it was ok if we dated. She doesn’t love it but she’s willingly to give it a chance.” Rory told you with a small smile on her face, nervous for your reaction.

You looked at her blankly for a moment before a smile worked its way onto your face.

“Seriously?” You asked and she nodded, her own smile widening.

“Yeah, I really am sorry for all this though.” You just rolled your eyes at her before telling her to come with you, pulling her out of the seat and tugging her after you.

You led Rory over towards the lake, the two of you sitting on the dock, looking out at the water.

“So, we’re really ok?” You asked just to check, wanting to confirm it. Rory smiled at you, leaning forward to cup your cheek.

“We’re ok.” She reassured and with that you leaned forward, pressing your lips against hers in a hard and passionate kiss that showed just how much you had missed her.
