@felyneve90 Thank you for these words! @unofficialjaicourtney and I have been discussing how poorly Jai’s ‘fans’ have been taking this news. If Jai is happy more power to him! If he’s not, well he can fix that. 

I try and imagine if Jai were dating a fan, would the rest of the fandom turn on her? I used to be embarrassed by the so-called ‘fandom’ but I’ve learned there are the real fans who support him, critique his work if we have a strong opinion and accept that (heaven for bid!) the boy chooses to date. Then there are the stalkers who believe that Jai owes them? That they deserve his attention and no one else? I can’t even imagine what they’re thinking. And avoid Instagram, it’s a million times worse.

I am Disgusted

Totally and utterly disgusted. I told myself I would stay out of this mess some of you have created over the hype with Jai, but today I’ve pulled my last straw. I’ve had a rough god damn day and I am sick and tired of people thinking that attacking anyone is okay. I can’t believe what some of you have turned into, and it makes me want to scratch at my skin until it peels off because of how gross it is. 

Mecki is a person. I don’t understand why you guys seem to think that she isn’t and that she doesn’t have feelings, but you do. You’re treating her like she’s a demon, like she’s trash. She’s human. Yeah, she may be dating a celebrity, and we may admire him, but shouldn’t that mean that we should defend her the same way we do Jai? Wouldn’t he want that? 

It just boggles my mind how people think that because a picture goes around, it makes her public property and that you guys think you can just batter her because there’s a thing called the internet between you and her. Why does this need to be a catfight to you people? Why do you decide that you need to be fucking repulsive bullies? Where in your head do you deem that as being fucking okay? Would you like it if someone did it to you?

Some of you are just fine. You’re good and you support him and you’re happy because he’s happy, and I like you people, and I hope this doesn’t offend you. However, to the people that think she should go because apparently she’s just some nasty “anorexic” piece of shit that needs to go, you guys can fuck right off, I don’t care if I offend you. 

She’s part of this fandom now, and this is what you guys are putting out. To me, I would defend her just as much as I would Jai, and as you can see, that’s exactly what I’m doing, because somehow she’s playing a role in his life (be it friendship, or romance, I don’t care) and because of that, she should be taken care of. Oh, and I will repeat myself, you should defend her anyway because she is a living and breathing fucking person. 

Thank you to those who support me, the fandom, her, and Jai. Rack off to those who don’t. 

The Jai fandom is one that I (and I know @unofficialjaicourtney) often feel like we don’t even want to connect ourselves to it’s so over the line.

I’ve noticed in recent years some of Tom’s “fans” have been increasingly pushing the limits of what’s ‘okay’ and what’s ‘creepy/over-the-line’. 

Certain questions posed to actors I understand - for example “are you single?” - this is a question you may ask someone you just recently engaged in conversation. Meanwhile ‘that mole on your left butt cheek appears to be in the shape of a US President would you agree?’ - this is a question that you ask a lover when you’re laying in bed after a marathon night of sex and you’re just being playful. 

I understand that watching an actor and becoming a fan can make you feel connected to them. You’ve watched their interviews multiple times on YouTube, you can quote their movies, but that is a one-sided “relationship”. Folks need to be mindful, if you wouldn’t walk up to a random person on the street and ask the question, maybe you shouldn’t ask the famous actor. Especially around work colleagues. 

Thank you to the idiot who ruined the q and a by asking a stupid question about Unrelated that made everyone uncomfortable and was commented by everyone as being stalkerish and stupid to ask when you have the once in a lifetime chance to ask the makers of such a great and interesting show as the Night Manager. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THE HIDDLESTON FANDOM LOOKLIKE STALKING IDIOTS.

This is probably the most fun I’ve seen Tom have in awhile, he’s seem pretty run ragged lately. But his eye contact with Stephen was something else. I don’t know if Tom knew it was coming or not but I’m so happy to see him have a good time. 

Can we stop with the “pressured into singing” thing?

Whether he knew it was coming or it was sprung on him, he was clearly having a blast by the end. 

I don’t think he wanted to sing alone (I assume he would want to rehearse and its been ages since he practised these songs) but although reluctant in the beginning, he and Stephen clearly enjoyed themselves. 

If you don’t believe me, why did Tom tweet such nice things this morning? He didn’t tweet Jimmy Kimmel or Charlie Rose the next day. 

If he bears no hard feelings, what gives you the right to? 

Perhaps the best chapter yet! OMG I’m fangirling so hard right now!!

Blind Date, Ch 9

Synopsis: Saga was blinded in a freak accident at Stark Industries and ever since, Tony Stark and the Avengers have been helping her. Well, they think they’ve been helping, actually they’ve been holding her back, refusing to let her learnt to be self-sufficient.

Loki finds himself imprisoned in Stark Tower but when the Avengers have to leave, Loki finds a way around their security and encounters the blind doctor. He quickly finds himself intrigued by her and unlike her friends, he doesn’t go out of his way to “help” her perform simple tasks.

Both misfits in their own way, they quickly form a strong but needless to say, the Avengers don’t take kindly to the budding  friendship.

DO NOT STOP WRITING THIS!

I stumbled upon this chapter tonight and went back to catch up on the series, I’m sorry I didn’t leave feedback for every chapter but I was totally hooked and wanted to get to the next part.

This is a truly fantastic story. Richard is very believable, as is Julia’s decent into the complacent victim (I’ve been there). Your Jai is awesome - you’ve got my heart all a-twitter now over this!

I will make a few recommendations, I know I always appreciate it when folks give me some so hopefully you will too. The only ‘issue’ I found with the story is at times there are minor typos or loss of tense but nothing a beta couldn’t fix - I know when I try to re-read my work to edit it for some reason it always sounds perfect in my mind but my beta can always see things I can’t. The second recommendation is (if you don’t have one already) try opening an account on a site just for fan fiction. Tumblr is great but I’ve noticed it’s hard to get real comments going and you really only end up with hearts. I’ve considered publishing my stuff on here but I’ve just been dragging my feet on it. There are several sites I can recommend that I do you use or plan to soon that I think would help you get more feedback and engagement.
