Rubbing your hands across your face in distress, you let out your 5th sigh in the past hour.

Your hands tangled themselves in between the strands of your hair, slightly yanking at your scalp to feel some type of relief from the non-stop pounding in your head.

You couldn't decipher if the cause of the relentless pounding was due to stress, or if your heart had made its way up to your brain and was trying to rattle some sense into you.

You didn't remember tutoring being so draining, then again it had been a few months up to a year since you'd last taken the time to sit in a library and actually teach old material to someone. Maybe it was extra vigorous because all you could think about was the underlying issue of your still present feelings or maybe it was just extra taxing because you knew you'd have to take away more of your free-time to sit cooped up in a library with your longtime crush.

You let out a small whine before your eyes trailed over to your cat that sat perched up on your windowsill. You'd do just about anything to trade places with her.

Before you could even think to wallow in more self-pity, your trance was suddenly broken by an insistent buzzing on top of your thigh.

An unknowing smile broke onto your face before you clicked on the green, purposely putting your phone up close to your eyes and eyebrows.

As if on cue, the phone connected to show Yoon and Lily in identical poses making the three of you burst into a small laughing fit.

"Whatcha doin?" Yoon asked, dragging her words out as she propped her phone up against her desk to reveal the stack of ignored homework and lit up nintendo switch.

"Setting up my schedule for the next few weeks." You pitifully murmured before propping your phone up against a pillow.

"I don't know why I accepted to tutor him when I already have so much shit to do." You murmured as you sifted through papers of all of your upcoming events.

"Oh, please. We know why.." Lily tittered as her eyes focused on her own task, flipping through the pages of a binder with a highlighter in hand.

You side-eyed the camera for a split second before going back to marking your calendar. "Ha, Ha, Ha." you plainly uttered with a blank face.

"Don't pretend like we're wrong." Lily added, pointing her highlighter at the screen with a fake threatening sneer.

"We've heard the countless love rambles from you to know you'd jump in front of a moving bus if he asked you to." Yoon countered, failing to conceal her giggles at her own comment.

It was hard to deny their claims or even pretend to be annoyed with them when they were saying nothing but the truth. Your last love ramble was only two weeks ago when you were gushing on how gentle you caught him being with a stray cat outside of the school gates.

It was a vast contrast of how rough he presented himself on the basketball court, and to see him be so soft with a vulnerable animal made your heart beat at a pace that you didn't know was humanly possible.

"Speaking of Niki, I have to text him and get his schedule." you haphazardly mumbled before grabbing your phone.

The call was silent for quite some time but it felt as if the air completely shifted when you made that half-off comment. The widened eyes of the duo staring at you went unnoticed as you searched for his contact name.

"YOU HAVE HIS NUMBER?!" Yoon abruptly shouted before yanking her screen closer to her.

"Uh, Yeah. I need it so we can plan out our tutoring sessions." You replied with furrowed eyebrows and wide eyes, slightly confused by the outburst.

"And this is our first time hearing about it?" Lily interjected, gaping at her phone with a faked hurt expression as she rested her hand on her chest.

"I only got it today! What more do you want from me?" You asked lightly, laughing at their played up antics.

Before Yoon could reply, your phone dinged with a text message, and to your surprise, it was Niki himself.

Yoon's next rebuttal was broken with a quick gasp "Oh, shit. Was that him?" she asked, her hand covering her mouth with slightly widened eyes.

"Yes, actually." You answered, unknowingly straightening your posture as your thumb hovered over the text message banner.

"Well, what'd he say?" Lily asked, her binder quickly being discarded as she shifted her focus towards her phone.

"All he said was 'Hi, this is Niki.' With a smiley face attached." you answered as you laid back in your bed, shoving aside the disorganized flurry of papers on your bed to get comfortable.

"Oh my god, he wants you so bad." Yoon immediately interjected.

You could feel your lips spreading into a smile at her words. "Shut up." You murmured, trying your hardest to force down your smile.

"What should I say back?"

3 months, 6 days. There was nothing more dreadful than being dragged to a fraternity for a party while your work continued to pile up. You should've been more firm on your decision to stay huddled up in your dorm and attend to your homework like a proactive student, but Jake and his puppy eyes worked overtime to silence your protests. You expected to stay huddled up in the corner all evening and keep a watchful eye on Jake. He was known for not being able to handle his alcohol correctly. What you didn't expect was for someone to approach you.

He introduced himself as 'Heeseung', explaining how he took an interest in you because of how much you stuck out at a rowdy party like this. The two of you unexpectedly bonded over a multitude of things. Your conversation was filled with an endless amount of topics and funny stories from the past; it was as if you two were friends for years. Your exchange had unfortunately been cut short when a drunken Jake crashed into you with wide eyes and a confession that he had to throw up. Heeseung was unintentionally forgotten as you dragged your friend out of the party.

The two of you didn't cross paths for a while until you ran into each other at another party. It became a reoccurring game of Cat & Mouse. Jake would drag you to a party, Heeseung would happily approach you to talk, and then someone would unfortunately drag one of you away to attend to something else. Heeseung enjoyed being the cat, prying more and more information out of you each time the two of you met. He couldn't ignore the blossoming feelings that would expand each time the two of you talked, and he knew that the next time he saw you, he had to confess because he refused to let you slip through his fingers once again.

6 months, 1 week, 1 day. Co-parenting a dog you adopted with a man you met very briefly was a lot more fun than you expected it to be. You had been visiting an animal shelter often, frequently going in to check on the dogs and play with them until your attention had to be called somewhere else. You had immediately taken a liking to a small Labrador Retriever, fully expecting to adopt him when you got a more stable income.

But your plan had been completely taken off the rails when, the day you went in and decided to adopt the puppy, another man had already had him in his arms, smiling and talking to a nearby clerk. You didn't mean to make a fuss at him, but you put up a hard fight about not letting him take away the puppy you had wanted for months and planned on getting. The man you've come to know as Jay seemed pretty firm in his stance on not giving the puppy to you until he realized you were just as stubborn as he was, if not even more. Which is where your deal came in, and you became co-parents.

Throughout your time as co-parents, you learned a lot about each other. Your puppy unknowingly made the two of you closer than you could've ever imagined. Making excuses to see each other, getting jealous when one of you spoke about a potential love interest, gazing at each other lovingly when you'd watch them play with the puppy. Everything just felt so normal and peaceful between the two of you, even when you were teetering on the edge of being a romantic couple. Still, there was that lingering sadness the two of you unknowingly shared when neither party took the step into becoming more. That was until you told him about the date you had planned later that evening. Before you could even get your doubts out about even wanting to go, Jay was quick to ask you not to. His reasoning being that he loved you, and it should be him taking you out on dates, not anyone else.

2 months, 2 weeks, 2 days. He knew a new tenant had moved into the apartment next door, but he never got the opportunity to see them. Leaving early in the morning and arriving home late at night didn't leave much of a window open for him to meet you. But even with the struggle of a packed schedule, he made sure to leave a small gift basket and note on your doorstep to welcome you. Since then, the two of you have started your own form of communication by leaving snacks, flowers, bottles of wine, homemade treats, and letters on each other's doorsteps.

He didn't know what you looked like but he could easily find out. You were so close yet so far, and still, the mystery of who he was communicating with left a lingering desire. He hinted at wanting to see you face-to-face a few times before you finally decided to accept his invitation.

He was elated, to say the least, but nothing could've prepared him to see you standing on his doorstep in all of your glory. The entire night was filled with shy giggles, soft fleeting touches, and affectionate gazes. The romantic evening ending off with you taking each other's phone numbers and a kiss on the cheek as you departed.

10 months, 3 days. You feel terrible. Gaining a crush on your brother's best friend fills you with vast amounts of guilt, especially when all he does is exist around you. You know you can't date him; your brother has made it more than clear that you're off-limits to his friends and vice versa. So the sudden burst of romantic feelings you gain towards him shocks you. Out of all the men in the world, why did it have to be him?

Drowning in your own self-pity whenever he comes around makes you fail to notice the way he harbors the same feelings for you. He's always checking on you when you decide to do outings together, constantly asking about you and how you're doing with your brother, and drifting closer to you when spaces get too crowded. Sunghoon might've been oblivious to the obviousness of his crush on you, but your brother was not.

Despite having rules and boundaries set in place on not being involved with each other romantically, your brother put his overprotective instincts to the side and slowly started pushing the two of you closer together. He grew tired of the lovesick gazes across the room, as well as the pouting when neither of you could reciprocate your feelings freely. Your brother knew Sunghoon; he was a bit annoying, but his intentions were pure, and if anybody were to date you, he'd prefer it to be someone he trusted. Which is how, on a random Tuesday, you found a nervous Sunghoon shifting foot to foot on your doorstep with a large bouquet of red roses.

. . . SUNOO (선우)

3 months. A new cafe opened up a few minutes away from Sunoo and Jungwon's shared dorm. Sunoo had been begging for Jungwon to go with him after continuously hearing the overwhelming praise it received on the regular. Everyone fawned over the taste of the puff pastries and how delicious their boba was, and Sunoo swore he was going to turn green with envy if he went any longer hearing about other people's experience without giving one to share of his own.

Sunoo anticipated falling in love with the beautifully decorated pastries and cold drinks, not the barista. So when his infatuation became more than just a craving for sugary snacks, he found himself visiting simply because you were there. If you weren't there, he wouldn't bother going. But if you were, he'd spend his entire afternoon sitting close to the counter you worked at, smiling ear to ear and gazing at you adoringly.

Sunoo didn't prolong his confession, when he realized he liked you and wanted to be with you romantically, he was very forward with his advances. He wanted to build a stable friendship before asking you out correctly, just in case you were to reject him he'd still be able to fall back on your friendship and forget about his silly feelings. Although, he knew the possibility of that happening was highly unlikely, considering the fact that you've started to look at him the same way he looks at you,.

. . . JUNGWON (정원)

5 months, 2 weeks, 3 days. Jungwon couldn't help but admire you from afar. Every time you came into his Grandfather's quaint bookstore he'd quickly discard any task at hand and rush to the check-out counter. It overlooked the entire store meaning he could shamelessly observe you as you maneuvered through rows of shelves and other customers that held baskets filled with books.

He wasn't the best at making conversation with you. Always finding a way to screw up his pick-up lines and stumbling over his words after you'd compliment him. There were times he'd feel so defeated after failing to 'woo' you correctly that once you'd leave he'd just sink onto the floor behind the counter and unconsciously pout until his Grandfather or co-worker Ni-ki, found him.

He'd always liked you, ever since you first stepped into the shop, yet he seemed to be the only one completely oblivious to your mutual feelings. Ni-ki would often make light of this by pointing out how frequently you'd visit the bookstore only to browse around for a few minutes, grab the same book once it restocked, and spend double the time talking to him as he checked you out. Not fully knowing if Ni-ki was telling the truth or not, Jungwon still decided to take a leap of faith by slipping his confession into the book you'd always come back for, patiently waiting behind the counter with a bouquet of red roses perched on a stack of books.

. . . NIKI (니키)

1 year, 2 months, 5 days. You didn't understand why your feelings for Ni-ki wouldn't just go away. The two of you met through mutual friends but never got off on the right foot together. You found him to be snarky and annoying while he found you to be stuck-up and prissy. It was truly a mystery on how your friend groups even meshed with all of the different personalities and aesthetics, yet you and Ni-ki seemed to be the only pair that didn't get along.

It seemed like every time you tried to get farther away from each other you'd end up closer than before. There was a brief moment in time when the two of you would just avoid each other as a whole, but then when Ni-ki saw how easily he could get under your skin he found himself picking fights with you any chance he got. Your reactions that were once amusing to him started to become endearing in a way and even attractive.

Him 'disliking' you simply became a facade over the few months of knowing each other. You never understood why he liked to pick on you so much, you also never understood why you started to gain a romantic liking towards him. To block out all of those complicated feelings you started to put up your walls, biting back more aggressively at his teasing remarks until it all became too much. Your friends became tired of your antics and decided to do something about it by shoving the both of you into a nearby room, barricading it from the outside. "until the two of you confess to each other you're gonna stay in there!" .... "confess?"

`⌁ ◜ FIRST MEETING ◞

You first met at GDA (Golden Disc Awards). Your group was on a constant uprise since the moment you debuted. Everyone in the KPOP industry knew your group, it'd be impossible not to after being featured on the cover of multiple magazines, constantly being front row at fashion shows, as well as being the face of countless brands.

Niki knew of your group but never really had the time or interest to look more into it until your performance.

He was truly mesmerized by you when you popped on the big screen for your mini solo. Your visual, and your voice, enchanted him like no other. His lips would slightly part while his unwavering gaze softened whenever you appeared even if it was for just a split second.

And once the dance break started an unknowing smile would appear on his face. although barely noticeable, it still surprised his members as they're so used to him remaining stoic throughout performances.

Your performance ended much quicker than he'd like, he felt as if he was stuck in this euphoric like state watching you move and having it end so abruptly covered him in unmistakable dread. Still he didn't hesitate to stand up from his seat and give applause with everyone else once the lights dimmed.

Once everyone cleared the stage and the announcers were back to keep the crowd entertained, niki's eyes darted amongst the rows of seats where other idols resided, patiently waiting to see you again.

Niki watched as your group got closer, bowing to your higher-ups and smiling while waving to your close friends. He along with his members stood up to reciprocate your bows. Niki's eyes laser-focused on yours hoping you'd make eye-contact with him, which you did.

It was only for a split second but in that moment he felt his heart skip a beat, your warm smile along with your shimmering eyes made him feel like he was walking on air. He could feel the breath leave his lungs as you passed by him, it's as if your gaze casted a spell on him making his legs stiff and feet glued to the ground.

He didn't even realize that everyone around him sat back in their seats and had averted their attention back to the stage. Well, not until Jake pulled him down by his wrist.

"something catch your eye?" "or more so, someone?"

His members teasing him completely flew in one ear and out the other, he wanted to just drown out all of his surroundings and focus on you but he knew how certain fans could get and instead decided on training his eyes back to where they should be.

Throughout the evening his eyes would drift back to the back of your head, being ever so pleased when you'd slightly tilt your head enough so he could see your smile. It was obvious he had taken a liking to you, so with the help of his hyungs during the commercial break they pushed him over to your direction.

He smoothed out his blazer before standing up straighter and making his way towards you. One of your members noticed him coming before you did, nudging you discreetly before tilting their head in his direction with raised eyebrows.

You looked over to find him making his way over, his eyes pointed at you only, making you freeze momentarily before standing out of your seat.

"Hi."

"Hi."

— it's not obvious just in passing but to his members and yours it's extremely evident of his unrelenting crush on you.

— he's very attentive to you. if you're ever on a variety show together he'll do his best to keep a respectful distance but his attention will barely stray away from you.

— a small smile will creep up on his face as he watches you tell a funny story with such excitement. his eyes will follow you across the room as you hit one of the hosts across the head with one of those giant red hammers. and he'll cover his face with a shy grin when you're forced to do aegyo, laughing as he finds you so adorable while you're cringing at your own overbearing forced cuteness.

— he likes to do dance practices together. teaching you their new choreography step by step. laughing at your demise whenever you trip over your own feet or freeze in the middle of the choreo.

— he actually enjoys whenever you mess up, it gives him an excuse to get closer to you and 'fix' your mistakes.

— he'll come up behind you, towering over you as he moves your arms and hands along with his. he'll lean in, whispering in your ear with one of his arms around your waist.. "make sure to keep your core firm." while resting his hand over your abdomen.

— he'll suddenly detach himself with a teasing smirk, feeling accomplished at making you flustered. "alright, ready to redo it again?" he'll ask as if he didn't make the largest swarm of butterflies thrash around throughout your body.

— he'll follow close by you. he'll either hover over your shoulder to see what you're doing on your phone, or just linger by to be around you. but most of the time it's done unintentionally because of how naturally drawn to you he is.

— throws away inkigayo sandwiches. if he ever overhears an idol saying they're gonna give you one of those sandwiches, he's very quick to interfere. it's petty, yes and a bit toxic of him to block his peers from interacting with you but he just doesn't want to have to compete for your attention, especially if it's with another male.

— buys you small trinkets. he'll off-handedly give you a keychain with pochacco on it and say it reminded him of you. he's always quick to avert his gaze during these small moments, shoving his hands in his jacket pocket while anxiously waiting for your response.

— he'll always bite back a smile at your excited rambles as you talk about how you were "just thinking about sanrio" before attaching the keychain to your bookbag.

— anytime he sees you flaunting around his gifts in public or a new dispatch photo showing you wearing it he'll feel a sense of pride swell in his chest. he's even watched clips of your lives where you'll read out a question asking "where'd you get that cute bracelet?" watching with pure adoration as you fidget with the bracelet before one of your soft shy smiles appears on your face. "my friend gave it to me :)."

— practices your choreography. during late hours into the day after he's done all of the practice for his group's choreo, he'll stay back and practice yours.

— he'll deny any and all teasing if one of his members catches him humming your groups song, specifically your chorus while softly mimicking your movements during his regular day to day.

— he'll even surprise you during one of your bi-weekly dance practices together. getting flustered and hiding his face at your loud claps and boisterous cheers as he finishes off the dance perfectly.

— sends you tik toks. sometimes it's core videos of you and he'll attach a laughing emoji or a comment saying "ur so weird", other times it'll be a cute video of your assigned animal doing something goofy and he'll send it saying "you."

— there has been a handful of times where he'll randomly stumble across an edit of yours. he never scrolls pass them, always watching them in full and maybe even a few times again before silently saving them into a private folder on his tik tok saves, never to see the light of day or anyone else's eyes.

— truly doesn't realize how down bad he is until he's up at 2am, smiling with a toothy grin and lightly laughing at an edit of you to twice's 'look at me'. "so cute..." he'd murmur before scrolling up and quickly back down to watch the edit again and again and again...

— describes you as his ideal type. whenever asked about his ideal type or celebrity crush he'll always describe your physical features and characteristics and might even name a celebrity that has your type of likeness.

— a shy smile will be on his face while he avoids eye-contact with the interviewer, the only thing popping up in his head are fantasies of you. your hair, your eyes, your lips. all things niki's attracted to. while, most girls are excited to hear the list of attributes that they think align with their features, none of them will ever truly match up to you in his eyes.

— wants you to like him. if you describe your ideal type and it doesn't exactly align with who niki is, he'll get a bit sulky.

— he won't do much to change his appearance because he likes the way he looks, the most he'll do is add a bit more color into his wardrobe if that's something you're into. if you like a lot of jewelry, he'll add on a few more rings and bracelets. but other than that niki won't do much to change who he is, he'll just try to find a way to shift your romantic interest into more of who he is.

— if he sees you eyeing his necklaces or if you compliment his style in any way he'll genuinely be overjoyed. whatever jacket you liked on him, he'll start to wear it more. you liked his hair being part a certain way? he'll post a bed or mirror selca on weverse with his hair just to your liking. you liked his skull ring? you'll see it adorning his finger more often than any other piece of jewelry, it now being noticeable in nearly every photo he takes. if you weren't so oblivious you'd see him fishing for your attention more than anyone else and realize he likes you just as much as you like him.

— compliments that sound like scolding. the way he compliments you almost sounds like he's annoyed or angry with you.

— if you ever feel the slightest bit insecure of your appearance he's very quick to shut down any and all self-deprecating thoughts, and loudly. saying phrases like...

— is a relentless tease. he genuinely will never let up with his teasing but it's nearly unbearable when he's in the crushing stage. he'll laugh in your face and start mocking you if you stumble over your words, he'll find memes of you where you look unflattering and spam them to your inbox when he misses you but doesn't feel like saying it verbally. if you ever have a moment where you forget choreo on stage or your voice cracks he'll send the clip to you or mock you right in your face.

— if he ever feels like he might've gone too far with his taunts he'll dial it down a few notches and hold off on teasing you for a while.

— he likes seeing you annoyed at him because you always sport a cute pout on your face that makes his heart flutter. he never wants to push you pass your limits and have you actually become upset at his antics or distance yourself away from him.

— if anything he full on encourages you to tease him back. he believes you'll have a stronger bond with each other if you're comfortable enough to make certain jokes about each other together.

— he's so nervous to ask you out. he really likes you, as a friend and as a romantic partner so he's extremely irritable throughout the entire process. he knows that this question could change your relationship for the better or for the worse and that just makes things so much more nerve-wracking.

— he planned on asking you out at one of your dance practices together. just you and him, no other choreographer, no other teammates to bug you both, just the two of you. alone. together.

— he's so much quieter throughout the practice, so you can tell he has something prodding at his mind. he's jumpier and has been repeatedly rubbing his palms on his sweatpants.

— after confronting him halfway through the practice niki will just blurt out his feelings for you in quick jumbled rambles. quietly asking after his tangent "will you- or do you maybe wanna go out with me?" all while fiddling with the long sleeves of his jacket.

— of course you said yes, which made him ecstatic. shy giggles and playful smiles were sent to each other throughout the rest of the practice before you finally decided to wrap up for the night.

— a small innocent hug to seal your departure away from each other made his heart nearly beat out of his chest and the butterflies in his stomach to reach down to his toes and to the base of his throat. he was barely successful at containing all of his excitement until he got back to the dorms.

— his hyungs already know what happened by the wide grin on his face and bounce in his step when he re-enters the dorm.

— niki had a date! and possibly a significant other :)

— it took quite some time for you to plan your date because of you misaligned schedules but after a few stressful days of running rampant and trying to figure out a proper time, the both of you decided on a nice movie night at his dorm.

— he's so displeased that he's unable to take you on a normal cute date because of dispatch and saesangs possibly ratting you guys out, but you're quick to reassure him and let him know you're happy to do anything with him, which relieves him quite a lot. ( he silently promises to you and himself that he'll take you on a real extravagant fancy date one day. )

— engenes have noticed an uptick in niki's mood. he seems happier, more playful, and more feral than he's usually been in recent activities.

— and it's all because of you!

— now that you're together, he can't go a day without speaking to you. on his breaks he'll spam your inbox non-stop until you reply. management had to confiscate your phone one time because it kept buzzing during an interview.

— his texts usually consisting of 'hey' 'imu' ' :D :D :D' '*photo attachment of two cats* us' 'tell ___ hyung/noona i said hi' 'i saw ur weverse post.' 'u look ugly today 😒' 'jk jk jk' 'pls don't kill me'

— bursts out laughing randomly. he does it a lot, especially on live and it's usually because he haphazardly remembered an inside joke between the two of you.

— secret touches. he loves to initiate small signs of affection in public. it gives him a bit of a thrill knowing there's so many cameras and people watching but none of them know what's happening between the two of you.

— he'll softly graze a hand on your back when moving past you on stage with other idols, winks at you when you make a split second of eye-contact, briefly caresses your hand with his when passing by each other backstage.

— he loves laughing at your flustered reaction after he does something bold. like when you were filming a tik tok together for your latest comeback.

— your group gathered together around the camera with enhypen on the other side, you and niki pushed to the far back.

— the whole time you couldn't focus on whatever your leader had been explaining enthusiastically to the camera because niki's hand that was resting on your lower-back had traveled down to your butt, ever so lightly patting it with a steady rhythm.

— you nearly forgot your lines when it became your turn to talk and had to focus on not stumbling over your lines. you could see the smirk on niki's face out of the corner of your eye but didn't say anything until the cameras were off and your managers were occupied.

— physical affection. if you're in his vicinity he needs to be touching you in some kind of way. he's not one to be physically affectionate in public or even around the members, but he'll still try to initiate some type of contact with you.

— in public spaces it'll be minuscule acts of affection, so small that no one would even blink an eye at you two. his knee barely leaning against yours as you sit next to each other, or his elbow just barely touching the skin of your arm when he stands next to you.

— when the two of you are around your members and no one else he's a bit more touchy. resting his head on top of yours, fiddling with your clothes, entangling his legs with yours when you're sat on the same couch, and maybe even a small kiss on the cheek if he's feeling bold enough.

— when the two of you are alone he can't keep his hands off of you. you two rarely ever get moments alone so when you do you make the most of it.

— he'll lay his entire body on top of you and stay there even if you plead with him to get off because you feel like you're being crushed. he'll just ignore your cries and nuzzle his head further into the crook of your neck. good luck trying to escape.

— is obsessed with the size difference between you two. loves to compare hand sizes, bending the tips of his fingers over the tops of yours. in dance practice he'll gaze at your smaller figure next to his in the big mirrors and just smile to himself.

— whenever you wear any article of clothing that is oversized it makes his heart melt, he'd much rather prefer you wear his clothing tho.

— he'll take off-guard pictures of you drowning in his clothes and just keep them for his eyes only. looking at the pics whenever he starts missing you.

— collects your photocards. he was hooked after being gifted a signed mini album from your leader where he just so happened to pull your photocard. he gave away all of the inclusions that didn't include you to his other members but kept whatever had your face on it.

— now the both of you exchange albums after every comeback and unbox them in-front of each other.

— truly getting excited when you pull each other's photocards and extremely sulky when you pull someone else's. ( i fully believe at some point he has snatched a sunoo photocard from your hands with his teeth. )

— self-care days. those rare days where you two cuddle up in matching pajamas in one or the other dorms with junk food surrounding you have created the best memories for the two of you.

— after long days constantly working with very limited bits of sleep, you two deserve to just spend time together, and the way you two do it is by doing nothing with each other.

— painting each other's nails, wearing face masks, gossiping together, and cuddling up together under a mountain of blankets while a random variety show plays in the background.

— those are the times where he's the most affectionate. nudging his nose against yours as a silent plead for a kiss, and once he does get what he wants he'll be reluctant to let go. always going back for more and lingering longer than the last.

— supportive. whenever your group wins an award he's one of the first people to stand up while clapping, biting back the cheesiest grin while he watches your eyes gloss up in shock.

— he likes to promote your groups music, if you ever come out with a solo he'll slyly mention it by posting a list of songs he's been listening to, yours standing proudly at the top of the list.

all in all he truly loves you, and can't wait for the day you two reveal your relationship to the public and he no longer has to hide his overbearing adoration for you. <3

The dreaded final bell had rung throughout the classroom and halls, signaling the end of another tiring school day.

It felt as if you had just sat down for your final class. Now, being pulled out of your zombie-like trance to begin packing up your supplies with the rest of the students.

You were nervous, and it was very clear to anyone who took notice of you for longer than a second.

In the middle of the lesson you had to remove your jacket because of your body starting to overheat. If Yoon hadn't flaked out on the last lesson of the day to observe ticket prices for an upcoming Seventeen concert, she would've been cackling at your demise.

You had to bite back your mortified groan as Ms. Park pointed out your flustered state, opening the window next to you to allow in a cool breeze. You knew her intentions were nothing but pure, yet you couldn't help but slowly sink into your seat at the muffled snickers of other students across the class.

Throughout the day you had practically chewed your bottom lip raw, and picked at the skin on your nail beds until they became red and sore to the touch.

You hadn't even crossed paths with the boy and you were already embarrassed by the state his imaginary presence put you in.

You waited impatiently. Standing at your desk until the class completely cleared out, and the outside grumble of overworked students began to die down.

Two perfectly manicured hands suddenly resting on your shoulders startled you. "Don't be nervous, y/n. He's a good kid." Ms. Park sweetly consoled as she gave your shoulders a squeeze before patting them.

All you could do was absently nod at her words before whipping your head over to the sound of rapid knocks at the door.

You let out your final deep breath before quickly pulling back the loose hairs from your ponytail, the curious glances from your teacher went unnoticed by you as she made her way to the door.

"Ms. Park." You couldn't fully see his figure but hearing his voice was enough to make the muscles in your legs slowly give out. You watched as the top of his head came into view and lowered into a bow. "Nishimura! Please, come in and meet your tutor."

You can't even fully remember the last time the two of you were at an arms length of each other. You carefully watched as his eyes scattered around the classroom until they landed on your figure. Momentarily freezing before hesitantly waving at him. The closed-lip smile on your face couldn't have been anymore forced as he maneuvered his body through desks over to get to you.

"Hey..." he paused as he stuck his hand out for you to shake. His mouth slightly hung open as he quirked his eyebrow up. "Wait, don't tell me. I know this.." he murmured before tilting his head back to look at the ceiling.

You tilted your head to the side in confusion, carefully observing as he seemed to burrow in deep thought. A small smile nearly made its way onto your face as you started to take in his appearance, that was until the horrid realization dawned upon you.

he forgot your name.

He snapped his fingers with a triumphant smile before loudly declaring something close to your name.

You could only shake your head in silent disbelief. You had to blink yourself back into consciousness, roughly clearing your throat before meekly replying "uhm..no, it's y/n. we've been going to school together for years, remember?"

You wanted to curl up into a ball and be kicked into the sunset. You were so anxious to see the person you've obsessively been crushing over since you could do your times table, and he can't even remember your name?

He quickly realized his mistake and nearly froze in his spot. A soft exhale left his mouth before an awkward smile adorned his face. His mouth hung open as if he was hoping for an answer to leave his lips and redeem himself.

But before he could do so Ms. Park interjected. The sudden tension had become overbearing to the point Ms. Park couldn't even endure it.

"Well, let's sit down and discuss your schedules, yes?"
