i don’t like getting oddly personal a lot but i remember the first time i listened to brother by gerard way and i just ugly sobbed.

my brother had just moved out and i was dealing with a lot of shit mentally and with some other members of my family. my brother was kind of a tank, in some ways, he took a lot of shit so i wouldn’t have to.

as we got older he started to change, as one does, but when it came to me if it got serious he’d be there. he’s always protected me despite being a little shit sometimes, but that’s what older brothers do.

i miss him more than i’d like to admit. i love my brother and i miss how he was but it’s not fair to expect him to stay the same.
