My favorite part of doctor who ever is when the doctor does their whole “I refuse to kill this villain/monster because of merciful moral reasons” bit and then immediately follows it with “so instead I will trap them alone in a barren hell dimension for all eternity”. It’s like that’s worse, though. do you get why that’s worse.

It’s interesting to me that Malia is going down the same mental roads as Stiles w/r/t Scott. They’re both so sure that he will judge them and that he’ll stop loving them if they make mistakes or choices he will disagree with. It says so much about them as characters, the way they don’t truly believe they can be loved unconditionally, even though Scott has never withheld affection, love, or loyalty from any of his pack. 

Watching Teen Wolf and I love that Scott's immediate response to Jackson pinning him against his locker and demanding to know his secret is "well I'm having a complete meltdown rn hope this helps"

Something abt Willow defying the narrative itself to bring Buffy back. It’s so selfish, and thoughtless, and also the ultimate act of devotion.

She defies the laws of nature, she rips apart the fabric of reality, but she also defies the show itself. Buffy’s ending was always going to be a tragedy, she was always going to die young. Everyone knows this: Buffy, Giles, the showrunners, the audience. And that almost was the ending! The show was supposed to end in season 5, and obv external reasons led to it being continued, but in universe it’s willow forcibly continuing the story.

Willow was the only one who refused to accept that Buffy dying young was her ending. She defies the damn narrative to bring Buffy home bc that is her best friend!!! And yes it’s also abt her own power and showing that she can, but it’s also abt Buffy spending five seasons desperate to be more than just the slayer, and that Willow’s greatest kindness is refusing to let her die the way the narrative wants. Willow refuses to let Buffy suffer the destiny she’s tried to shirk from the beginning!! It’s abt Willow being physically unable to imagine a life without Buffy; a story without her best friend. They make me want to eat rocks.

I’ve been thinking about faith and kendra. On faiths side it’s like this is the girl that came before you, she had to die for you to become who are, she gave you her strength. You don’t know whether to curse her or thank her for that. No one wants to talk about her but the girl you want to date be friends with keeps her stake, calls it a comfort item. She was just like Buffy, so perfect and a much better slayer than you. If she couldn’t make it, what chance do you have? Then for Kendra it’s, this girl is your replacement. A living breathing reminder of your failure. She’s just like the girl you want to date be friends with and they’re both so reckless and free. All you were good for in the end was to bring a weapon to the hero. You did everything you were supposed to but look where it got you. A slash across the throat and a grave in the place that killed you.
